@TheRockprincessM I have been in the cable t.v. industry for over 5 years and have been refused (multiple times) entry into a customers house because I was white. Not because I smelled funny, or was at the wrong house, or was carrying an axe. It was because I am white. The person then responded saying they wanted a black man, or woman. If that is not racism, then I do not know what is.
Unfortunately all sides are equally bad. I wish this was not the case. But the media makes sure to highlight acts of racism against the African American community than any other race. They do not show anything against Asians, Jewish, Irish Immigrants, Caucasians, etc. Not even Muslims get as much attention. Am I allowed to agree with this video if I'm white, or would that be racist? :p This sort of thing happens sometimes at my job but the best moment ever was when I had to check a man's ID at the self-checkout because we do random checks for orders totaling over $50 and the guy says "Is this machine racist?" @TheRockprincessM I have been in the cable t.v. industry for over 5 years and have been refused (multiple times) entry into a customers house because I was white. Not because I smelled funny, or was at the wrong house, or was carrying an axe. It was because I am white. The person then responded saying they wanted a black man, or woman. If that is not racism, then I do not know what is.

Unfortunately all sides are equally bad. I wish this was not the case. But the media makes sure to highlight acts of racism against the African American community than any other race. They do not show anything against Asians, Jewish, Irish Immigrants, Caucasians, etc. Not even Muslims get as much attention. So I could understand why African American's would feel more hated against than others ethnic groups.

There have been plenty of black people that I have run into who assume because I don't talk to them that I am racist. I am a quiet person. I don't talk much at all to begin with. When you think negatively, negative will come to you. Try to be more positive.

@corysgirl06 listen i speak the truth about the way people are and i dont try to cover the truth up with lies just to win the approval of others. there are three types of white people (1) is the average type of white person they are not racist but, they do draw the line in the sand when it comes to interacting with non whites. (2) is the white person who does have some racist attitudes but, will accept a non white friend if they act white. (3) is whites who hate all non whites.

Blacks formed the black panthers to secure themselves from the racial oppression of whites . Again it's all down to that element of fear.
But in this day and age I don't know what excuses anyone has to be racist. Whites need to wake up to the 21st century and stop being ignorant. Some hypocrite blacks and browns need to stop using the race card when they haven't actually been racially abused they need to respect themselves cos those that have suffered racism wouldn't behave like that.

Because were less ignorant and time's gone by and whites, blacks and browns have grown up together like I have with blacks and browns were merging more and more together and being not much different there's no need for racism which is good. Not saying it was ever right and we were different but because of the shock of different races of people living together for the first time there's gonna be conflict and those poor black and brown people went through hell, damn. Everyone is racist that's the problem. A group of people come along who are different in the way they look and behave and you and your people feel threatened by that because those differences could affect your life. So the white people treated them the way they did possibly because of that. Also some treated them like they did cos they were power tripping because "they can" but ultimately it's all an element of fear within to gain that power rather than being powerless and vulnerable

I thought that when a crowd of blacks harassed a couple of white kids a Tech (as I've witnessed several times), that could be called racism as well. And yes, reactionary racism, meaning responding to hate with more hate. It doesn't help anything.

Everybody needs to put God first, love your own people the most because that's your family and then love everybody else. Actually, have you heard of the IAT test developed by researchers at Yale (and I believe Harvard) universities, which, on the contrary, indicate that most people do, in fact, harbor actual racialist tendencies. While I would agree that not all people are racist ( I don't know that any reasonable person is asserting that), there are certainly people (and more importantly organizations) which are- that's not to say they are trying to lynch you.As disturbing is the issue of SUB-conscious racism.

You see this through hip hop culture, more Black people are dating outside the race, I was watching an Oprah show in which a group of Black farmers were accepting of a Neo Nazi and he changed because of that experiance so how can Black people be more racist than White people?

Good video. Even though I believe that racism still exists in America but I dont think its as blanant as it was back in the 60s. Plus, just because a Black president is in office that doesnt solve the problem of racism. Am I allowed to agree with this video if I'm white, or would that be racist? :p This sort of thing happens sometimes at my job but the best moment ever was when I had to check a man's ID at the self-checkout because we do random checks for orders totaling over $50 and the guy says "Is this machine racist?" Like, really? The machine can't see your skin color. Some people need to chill. I don't walk around blaming everything on my jewish history. I think some people just like attention from it.

Yes, racism will always be and has alays been. However, we can now look directly at our President for easily being one of the most outspoken racists people. You're very correct that he couldn't have won the election with only black votes. He had to fool tens of millions of white people to vote for him too. He did that by lying...a lot. Also, not all racism is about race. Much is due to continued acts of social defiance committed by certain communities that are just happen to be mostly black.

I am a white girl going to a black school, therefore I am a minority. I have never been treated with so much disrespect in my life- only because i am WHITE.
