The Quran in surah 18:86 I found the place where the sun sets ,and it sets in mud. The Quran in surah 88:20 says earth flat. In surah 22:65 allah holds up the sky or if would fall on your head. Surah 27 ants talked to Soloman. Surah says mans semon is made in his backbone and rib bones.Surah 67 When you see a shooting star thats when allah zaps a demon. This book is not the work of God but 7th century human supperstition. Show me 1 verse that supports modern science.
@linkuei83 Bitch i believe in Jesus and God you don't so you and George have fun in hell me i will be in paradise forever kicked back saying ah the good life.
@TheShinobi32 You believe in santa too? well santa might be real, i've seen some reindeers. You really think anyone that doesn't believe will be going to hell you idiot? Guess your god is so fucked up it's only logical you are too.
@TheShinobi32 Way to completely dodge the question, being a bigot must be hard on you. All self righteous and worked up for going to heaven, tell me, you pose in front of a mirror with some C4 strapped on you? If you could think straight for one minute you could see how ridiculous you become and maybe even scared. I'd rather be satan's bitch than to serve god which kills people when he feels like it. Read the bible and do a body count you arse.
@TheShinobi32 You will also go to hell, because in the Bible it says ''Forgive and Forget'' and you didn't forgive and forget linkuei83... You will be raped by monkeys in hell. sorry.
@AdamForExample Bitch you are a stupid as a new born rat,you go to hell for not believing in Jesus why because he died for all of our sins so that who ever believes in him will have eternal life and not be damned for there sins you stupid turtle brain bitch.
@elio173 Video is short to reach and depth into any of the religions, it's superficial but wants to only make a point. I think it's kinda weak because isn't accurate but gives the idea of what people think of other religions.
I really appreciate the clarity and logic of these videos and the website. My wish is for a simlarly styled video examining all the former myths/religions preceding christianity, demonstrating how the story of christ is clearly just a story (or pieces of various stories) re-told and altered throughout recorded history. BRAVO to the creator(s) of these clips and website!
@TheRandomGrabber Politics. Religion has terrible, terrible ideals, and our Constitution simply is not strong enough to protect our rights. Religion leads to homophobia, "pro-life" (anti-choice, moreover), and other selfless nonsense. Religous people then vote in representatives who advocate these morals, and, suddenly, all of us are being forced to abide by their theological codes.
I'm more concerned with fixing our political system, but, in the meantime, religion has to go.
Religion should be allowed to deny the right of giving a paraplegic his legs back via stem cell research
but atheists speak of religion as if its the ultimate plague to hit the world but i can assure it is not the concept itself but rather the lunatics who claim they follow it
@TheRandomGrabber How very convenient for the value of religion that all those harmful religious whackadoodles don't "actually" follow their religion. Csn you really assure me? I'm not assured that the concept of "believing stuff is good" is okay.
@TheRandomGrabber No, he means stuff like hardcore christians murdering gays, atheists, and wiccans. And starting wars, as in the past. Therefore, those christians hurt us a a species.
@TheRandomGrabber if you can't understand why people's beliefs hurt us as a species, then you'e not intelligent enough to be having a conversation about how people's beliefs hurt us as a species.
@alfieg1 First of all, in a sentence, the first letter is always capitalized. As you say, and I quote, "your," the correct word is "you're." "Your" is a possessive modifier meant to make a following noun belong to the person that the speaker is addressing. "You're" is a shortened way of saying "You are," or a phrase meant to link a following part of speech to the person the speaker is addressing.
Isn't "Judge not, lest ye be judged" a quote that you're supposed to be following?
@513986916 That's stupid, i was convinced from feverent emotional faith into atheism by this very video as a last drop. It helps alot. People just don't change their minds in the middle of discussions but when they think about things on their own. That's where your it-won't-help intuition comes from. You never observe the cases where ppl DO change their minds.
Atheists are afraid of the truth. the truth is that no one knows if god exists or not. Atheists are just as afraid of this uncertainty as the christians. Christians comfort themselves by convincing themselves that God exists and they are going to heaven. Atheists comfort themselves by "knowing" that god doesn't exist. They are both afraid of admitting the truth which is that neither one of them knows for sure.
You have to make clear about thinking tho... It's just not only thinking but critical thinking, and questioning one self and what one believe's... But it shouldn't stop there its not only about the self but what is presented to you as in religion and sicence... Sience is always there for you to question it and to prove it wrong its how it prospers... Religion is faith "blind faith", without need of proof or questioning... This is just wrong...
Christians find the idea of power, glory, eternal life all comforting but never ask if it's all bullshit or just comforting. I don't know if there is a God but the Christian explaination is abysmal. I can find more love and intelligence in any modern text book then I could ever find in a bible. The bible is a really bad science book.
I think this guy is delusional if he thinks that his arrogant attitude is actually going to enlighten those he thinks are delusional. "the belief in heaven is completely imaginary"? How the hell does he know that? Has he died and not gone to heaven? This guy may as well be a christian, his logic is just as retarded.
@marquezr Christians are the ones making imaginary claims. You have one poorly written book and you're willing to base your life on it. Is that logical ? Why are Christians so afraid of the truth ? Or at least not eccepting a bad explaination.
@SHADOW10621 The same reason Atheists are afraid of the truth. the truth is that no one knows if god exists or not.
No, actually it's theists who're afraid of the truth. The truth is that one day each of us will die. Theists are afraid of that, so choose to believe stories aboutliving forever in some sort of paradise.
Am I afraid of admitting that I don't know for sure if gods exist or not? No, of course not! How could I know for sure? A very small god could be hiding almost anywhere in the universe, after all. I don't BELIEVE that, though.
@marquezr Have you gone and went to Heaven? Your argument isn't wrong but nore is his/her... In reality no one can know since its always up to specualtion... Why is it that way and how can we say its that and not somethign we don't understand?... Just saying!!!
@curemymind That's exactly my point. I'm not saying that their is or their isn't a heaven, god, etc. All I'm saying is that no one knows. Both atheists and christians claim to KNOW one way or the other. In that sense, the atheists are just as bad as the christians. They are claiming to KNOW that god doesn't exist when they really have no way of knowing that.
As I've already told you, atheism isn't about knowledge; it's about belief, or more specifically the lack of it. I don't KNOW if any gods exist, but I don't BELIEVE they do. Similarly I don't KNOW if a colony of invisible beavers live on the moon or not, but I don't BELIEVE so.
@voiceoftruth2006 wow, you are SO much like a christian that you are even cherry picking what I've said. Just like they cherry pick what the bible says.
What exactly did I cherry-pick? I addressed your claim that atheists are afraid of the truth, I addressed - again - your claim that we say we KNOW gods don't exist and I cheerfully admitted that I don't know if any gods exist or not..
@marquezr ahhh But that is where you are wrong... Christians are all the same.. But not all atheists have the same view... Just look at me :)... That is where we differ... I am not saying all atheists are good or smart... Religion is the only one that states it as a fact when in reality they really don't know... Some atheists also do that but not all...
@curemymind christians are all the same? REALLY??? i'm not even going to entertain that. The irony is that the bible itself says that there is no proof of god. The bible says that the only "proof" a believer has is faith. Since faith is believing in something without proof, then its self admitting that there is no proof. I would say that the vast majority of christians don't get that, but there are some that do. A christian that believes there is proof is one with weak faith.
@marquezr My bad should of been more specific... As in all Christians believe in god... I know that there is nor proof of god's exsistance.. Never said that it proves that god exsits... :|...
@ImWobbing NO eh!!! So that create a problem b/c who is to say which religion is right and deity is the correct one... :|... So proof is needed... Without proof no one can grasp the understanding of why that religion is the correct one...
@ImWobbing yea religion doesnt need proofs. the story of santa clause doesnt need them too! and still millions of childs around the world believe it, because they want to belive in it! like christianity. you dont need any proofs. they WANT to believe in it. it helps them to get along with the cruelty in this world. thats why discussions about religion are useless. no matter how many solid proofs you have, they wont care about that. let them have their believe if they want too :D
@Sarahlyonz Not sure what you're trying to say here. Judging by how you wrote your sentence, you may have a brain...not sure how well it's working... Atheists aren't delusional because they believe in god or gods. They're delusional because they think that they are able to answer something that they have no capability of doing. Most religious people do the same thing. They think they KNOW what the truth is The fact of the matter is that NO ONE KNOWS.
@voiceoftruth2006 Same logic applies. Not that I necessarily agree that there is no EVIDENCE but regardless, not having evidence of something does not mean that it does not exist. That being said, I think that there is plenty of evidence that does not lead to proof but is still evidence.
@voiceoftruth2006 Correct. This is where I think atheists go wrong. They claim to KNOW that it it does NOT exist. Bottom line: anyone that thinks that they can definitively answer the question of whether or not god or gods exist, is a bit arrogant.
No we don't. Atheism is not a claim of knowledge; it's a lack of belief. Can I state with 100% certainty that no gods exist? Of course I can't. However neither can I state with absolute certainty that Russell's Teapot doesn't exist, and I don't believe in that either.
With SPECIFIC gods, though, it is often very easy to be certain that they don't exist. For example what do you think are the chances of Thor existing?
@voiceoftruth2006 Well, I guess that, that depends on the specific atheist. In my experience and opinion, atheists go FAR beyond just lacking a belief in god to an absolute denial that any deities exist. It's the difference between "do you believe in a god or gods?" vs "does god exist?". I think most atheists don't even differentiate between those two questions and really have a big problem with people who don't answer "NO" to the latter.
There's not much practical difference. If someone doesn't BELIEVE that gods exist, what are they going to answer when you ask "Do gods exist?" Simple: "No."
@voiceoftruth2006 thanks for proving my point. As i said before, those are two very different questions/answers and most atheists can't/won't differentiate. What are they going to answer? How about "I DON'T KNOW"?.To be fair, most are not wise enough when presented with a yes/no question to go for that super secret answer C: I don't know. The beginning of wisdom and the foundation of science is to admit your own ignorance. In that sense, atheists are just as unwise as any christian.
"I don't know" is a good answer for someone who doesn't know if they believe in gods or not. For an atheist it would be dishonest. I don't believe that werewolves exist; if you asked me "Are there werewolves?" would you really expect me to say "I don't know"?
@voiceoftruth2006 Again, two different questions. I'm not saying that you should answer "I Don't know" to the the belief in god. The "I Don't know" is in response to "Does God exist?" Your werewolf analogy is not adequate. Our ability to detect werewolves is much greater than our ability to detect a supreme being.
@marquezr I don't pretend to know if a God exist's and have never met an atheist who makes that claim. We just don't like religious people and the results and actions taken in the name of an unknown entity. Go to any religious service and listen to any pastor and as yourself "how does he know that". And where do they get their information. It's absurd
@voiceoftruth2006 and again, I'm not at all saying that god exists in the way that many people claim. Another thing that atheists like to do is use the idea of god that is presented by many christians, etc. to argue against. That's giving too much credit to the religious and quite frankly, it's like taking candy from a child.
@marquezr atheists don't claim to know for sure(that's a/gnostics), just reject religious beliefs. Because you don't know if pink unicorns exist shouldn't behave or believe as if you they existed. However what all religions claim that they know the exact truth, for example.
God is all loving, merciful, omnipotent, all knowing, created the universe, adam n eve, flood, send his only son, has angels etc. So you think atheists get it wrong?
As for evidence? I think science itself has brought forward many interesting facts that seem to indicate some kind of god or at least intelligence involved in at least the development of life on earth. This of course does not mean that GOD exists, at least not necessarily the way many christians believe him to be.
"I think science itself has brought forward many interesting facts that seem to indicate some kind of god or at least intelligence involved in at least the development of life on earth."
@voiceoftruth2006 Our continuing discovery of the complexity of our DNA that continues to grow the odds against the idea that life just accidentally happened this way. Even in astronomical terms the odds are huge. Again, this doesn't mean that Eve is was made out of a rib, Jesus rode a dinosaur, and all gays go to hell. For all we know, it could've been highly advance (relatively) aliens that did it. If so, could they be so advanced they may as well be gods? Who knows.
But nobody's SAYING that "Life just accidentally happened this way." There are a whole lot of options between accident and design; one of them - which, not coincidentally, is supported by all the available evidence - is evolution by natural selection acting on random mutations.
@voiceoftruth2006 Don't know what you think i meant by accident but evolution neither affirms or denies accident or design. And again, most people think that evolution disproves god or intelligent design/interference, etc. Mostly because they like to argue against the Christians because it's the easy argument. It's very easy to disprove that Jesus rode a dinosaur. But that doesn't prove that god doesn't exist. There is no definitive proof either way.
Actually evolutionary theory describes a third option that is neither accidental nor designed. Evolution certainly doesnt disprove ANY god, because it doesn't deal even vaguely with gods; it's an explanation for the diversity of life. However it is true that evolution is so well supported that the biblical creation story is definitely not true in any literal sense.
@voiceoftruth2006 Taking candy from a child. By the way, I'd like to note that when I said that Atheists claim to "KNOW that no gods exist", you said I was incorrect. Seems I was right to begin with.
@voiceoftruth2006 This all goes back to my original statement. Just because you can prove that Christians are wrong, does not prove that you are right.
You're not a true "Christian" at all. Actions speak louder than words. I suggest you re-read the Bible, and this time.....try reading the original version (the Hebrew one) and not the King James version.
Organized religions are crap (that includes the religion of atheism as well).
@TheCasper98dk killing is killing. if your god likes murder, thats fine. i'd rather be an atheist than go around murdering people for a perverse, bloodthirsty freak of a god.
The questions I had as a child about why every religious person is convinced that they are the only ones who got it right, along with the obvious silliness of the genesis bible stories, the suffering of innocent people in the world, and education convinced me by the time I was 10 or 11 that there was no god. I've been an atheist ever since, and that was 40 years ago. My parents finally accepted my disbelief when I was 14, and I no longer was forced to attend church.
I was raised in a very religious protestant home, and I remember as a young child I simply couldn't understand how my parents "knew" that their church was the right one. We had catholics living next door. When I was about 5 I asked my neighbour if she believed in god, because my parents told me they didn't. She told me my parents lied to me about that, catholics do believe in god.
@8698gil yes, genius. catholics are just as christian as you 'very religious protestants'. how about you do some research before posting ignorant things like this.
Someone came to Mary, that's for sure (If she even existed, since I'm not convinced of the existence of Jesus, either), or she wouldn't have gotten pregnant. But it wasn't an angel or god. Most likely she was raped by a male family member, which would make Jesus a product of incestuous rape rather than the son of god. I find that much more plausible.
there is scientific evidence about Christian facts. Google it for a start. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal saviour and I know that when I die, I'll go to heaven. Prayer is real as I have experienced its power. Ask for God's forgiveness, repent and accept Jesus Christ as your personal saviour. This world is just temporal.
@TheCreativemind40 well? Did i miss something? did the.. Atheist kill 150 billion? What planet are you on... "in peace" well, many wars we have had, and still have have been about someones invisble friend is more real that the other dudes invisble friend... Atheist havnt kill in the name of nothing, beliveres have killed in the name of god..
@TheCasper98dk You didnt seem to understand that since you might also living in a denial :) there are already at least 7B on this world right now ok I will correct my outdated numbers since I last visited here LOL :) Now a handful of them are Stalin, Mao. Pol Pot, Chaucescu etc etc they all held atheistic beliefs and became leaders (your not a leader so you do not have to do those... YET :) But cheerio you will not kill like them... YET :) till you became a leader of a nation yourself :)
Outdated also are the killings by this handful of men maybe it should be around 300+ Million and still growing for China. That is where you get your Million figures and not on the overall population figures of 7B :)
In what way is Christianity hurtful? I would think those that have no fear of God those who go around robbing and killing innocent people, those who never think twice about breaking God's Commandments, those are the ones who are hurting us.
Regardless of your views on religion, this is a pretty insulting video. Not sure what you expect to accomplish here. Certainly can't be to expect to win people over to your viewpoint, not with a video like this. I've never really understood militant atheists.Like a lot of other single-issue people, they can't seem to live and let live (i.e., go ahead and believe or do what you want as long as you don't harm me). Also, the narrator should get over his sinus infection. Nasally voices = annoying.
now one aspect you didn't point out about the christian faith is that more than one person in the bible saw the angle and were. so meaning unlike the Muslims and the Mormons. and also by comparing the flying horse to manta clauses rain deer you are saying that there is no such thing as a spiritual realm. witch neither you or i could truly prove the existence of . so sorry my friend you'll be needing more proof to turn me.
TRUTH IS THEY MIND FUCK YOU AND MANIPULATE YOU! You're having fun in Church playing games etc, with some goofy, hip guy/mentor, then he gathers all the kids into a group to talk about the bible. He makes you feel guilty and explains how we are all sinners and are destined for hell and that we deserve it. You start to feel awful. Then he tells you that there is hope. That Jesus sacrificed himself for you because he loves you! Music starts and other kids pray. You feel loved, worthy.Feels so real.
Please, if you know so much about the world, explain the healing of Parkinson's over one, single, NIGHT. The draw of over 2 million people to ONE God. Explain the bodies that have not decayed even over at least 100 years, explain the cape with Mother Mary's face that survived bombing and burning. The body and blood turning into the legitimate substance, and through multiple tests, no preservatives or blood type is to be found. Scientists admit that they can't come up with reasons.
and how do we know that medication for people that are suffering from mentle illness) is not delusional.getmy point?..wow..unbelievable..if you knew any thing about God, you would know that he is not into any man made religion) you are a sign that real DECEPTION AND DELUSION) IS AT WORK HERE. so that tells me that something real is about to come. great deception) keep it up..
@corneliuslb "getmy point?" No, it's essentially gibberish.
If god's "not into" any man made religion, then at least we agree religion is silly.
Problem is, without any evidence of any kind whatsoever, beleif in a deity is, as you put it, all about "DECEPTION AND DELUSION," particularly since religions are useless in explaining god (per you.)
Since man can't explain god, and god apparently won't explain himself, there is no more reason to believe in her than in carnivorous alien uncorns.
All these stories are imaginary because they are all fables from which a deeper underlying message can be drawn. If we were all to understand this and move from one religion to the next and draw from them the greater truths being taught, then enlightenment would come at a quicker pace. We are here for our experience, so we need to begin experiencing and stop bickering among ourselves.
@mratkinson2007 I'm all for it. So we start calling them myth-beliefs and quit using the word "religion" and all the peripheral contexts that come with it. Sounds good.
wrong. There is scientific evidence that praying is changing things. At least a prayer can help people in recover from a disease. This video shows that the one who made it, did not study enough, did not do research in a proper way and just made up his own opinion. Praying is not a bad thing at all.
@amiyah1603 thats alie - test on prayers for recovery from sick ness - have no affect if the sick person doesnt know about it - and an adverse affect if the sick person does know - prayer is bad helping for the sick
@MrIzzyDizzy (Must not use logic on the sheeple...it confuses them and gives them headaches, like when you imply miracles are magic and they foam at the sheeple-mouths trying to explain the difference.)
Equating the disbelief in God to the disbelief in germs.
I have never personally even seen a microscope therefore, a belief in germs is one I take purely on faith. I believe you when you tell me that you can use a microscope to see germs...
So why don't you believe me when I tell you that you can use your Pineal Gland to see God?
My goal here is not to criticize your irrational distrust but to get you thinking about your relationship with yourself. Your spirituality will be healed :-)
@donfishmaster No. this is a logic-problem. If you solve it, you can respect your own personal spiritual beliefs... If you mock me and disregard this logic, you're not fit to enter into a discussion regarding spirituality.
@donfishmaster I do believe in germs and things that I do not have first-hand knowledge of... Because I don't walk around with a superiority complex, calling people liars, and making snide remarks about them...
What I'm telling you is that I have first-hand experience using my Pineal Gland to witness the Glory of God. You are undoubtedly going to call me delusional... But you, too, have the ability to pierce the veil and peel back the curtain of the illusionary material world...
@donfishmaster Mock me if you want... I'm not a Christian, so I know its hard for you to debate me... I like the strawman of the magical sky daddy.. Clever. What I'm talking about is the Grand Organizing Design.. Sacred Geometry within and without. Amazon has over 5000 books relating to these concepts... At least one of them will give you the tools you need to see the truth. Or you can continue to be a closed-minded asshole... "You don't have a soul. You ARE a soul. You have a body."
"Sacred Geometry." Ahhh yes, a well-documented scientific field of study and endeavour.
Amazon has lots of books relating to Middle Earth, Harry Potter, Vulcans, Thetans, and alien contacts involving physical displacement and sexual probing.
I see the problem, I'm not a whack-job like you with crazy random beliefs.Maybe Monty Python's "silly walk" would provide "understanding" as well
@donfishmaster for a split second your mind was opened but then you quickly shut it down... It's fine. I have no stake in your mental, emotional, or spiritual well-being. Keep your closed-minded attitude.
But so we're clear, you did not even try to solve my logic-puzzles :-P
@zakquack No problem, for less than a split second I thought you were lucid, but then you hit the "Post" button and put your thoughts out there for others to see and that suspicion passed immediately.
@donfishmaster my proof is available to all... But relatable to none... I see you could not solve my logic problem... Now, how about the second logic problem I posed? Imagine God is a smell, all around you, everywhere, except you don't have a nose... Would you be able to tell?
I am telling you that you can acquire a nose... And you are calling me crazy.. Yes, when someone without a nose hears talks about smells I'm sure that it would seem very crazy... Until you get a nose.
i am an atheist, however, and i know i'm probably going to start a flame war over this but.. how do we know, that being "outside the bubble" of all religions is a bubble in itself?
By the way never once in the bible does it mention these "magical" events you are just adding the word magical which makes this video false. I'm pretty sure you are stuck inside your own "bubble".
@Jdallem202020 Adding a descriptive word to the ones you think are set in granite is not making his video a false set of information.
What is funny about you book,,, the supposed friends and witnesses never wrote the books named after them. Then there is the glaring fact,,, they all do not have the same description of his life and death. Some really obvious clues to the jew fraud aka christianity. They wrote 3 versions, one for themselves, one for you to the north, and one for the Persians.
Let's count the logical fallacies in this video: Argumentum Ad Hominem Straw Man Gross Simplification Hasty Generalization Insulting Contextomy Cherry Picking Poisoning the Well Appeal to Ridicule Appeal to Emotion Slippery Slope This may be attacking form over substance, but the only substance left is an Ad Hominem.
Your video explains some good points, but completly fails to back up your claim that ALL religious people 'hurt' the world, not just the extremists and evangelicals.
we know he lived. we know he died. we know he was and is the Christ. we know his disciples weren't lying. we know Jesus' life is all true.
so if Jesus' life is all true, why wouldn't the rest of the Bible be true? it's all the same story: God is Lord, and Jesus is the key to everlasting life. God is the one and only true God, and He is the only one we should ever worship. <3God Bless<3
@TheRedwallfan101 There is nothing "true" about that bible story of a jesus.
The best case is where do they get all that valuable wood to throw away as an execution stand? Moronics will believe most anything someone they look up to tells them.
@SlackerSlayer seriously? after this, you're asking about two pieces of wood? (six if you count the other two criminals...) they used crucifixion on other people too, not just the Christ and the guys on either side of him. and it's not like it had to stand up there for months. or are you saying that using crucifixion to kill criminals never existed either?
@TheRedwallfan101 Yeah it is the detail that blows the liars plans. Nice how things work out for the better though.
Ever hear of the wonderful advice,,, "consider the source"? You are speaking of "facts" you found in the bible, how crazy is that to think it is some form of history book. It is a derivative of a plagiarizers work aka the torah. Do you know when the christians big four parts were written,,, by his best pals? mark luke matt and dee udder dood?
@SlackerSlayer a large part of the Bible written by Paul, too, who killed a whole lot of Christians. true, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were good friends of Christ, but why are you telling me this if you don't even believe the Bible is truth?
we know he lived. we know he died. we know he was and is the Christ. we know his disciples weren't lying. how do we know this is all true?
again, i say we have Roman historian's work. they were Jesus' enemies. they would want, more than anything, to say that Jesus is not the Christ, and our Saviour. their records confirmed that Jesus lived, did miracles, died, and rose again, but they have to try and provide EXCUSES. which never work out.
how do we know the disciples weren't lying? because, they were all killed in the end for Jesus. if they were lying, they could've just denied Jesus and been set free. why would they die for their own lie? and no, don't answer that they were just lunatics.
when Jesus ascended into the heavens, the disciples carried on his work, healing and driving out demons in His name.
when he was placed in the tomb, a giant stone was rolled in front of it a Roman guards set in front of it. according to the Bible, two angels rolled aside the stone, the guards frightened. The tomb was empty. how could that have happened?
some people claim the disciples stole the body and played tricks. when Jesus appeared to them, even they thought he was a ghost, come to haunt. no. Jesus let them feel his wounds, he cooked for them, he spoke with them. he LIVED with them.
we know he lived. we know he died. how do we know he was and is the Christ?
his birth was predicted MANY times in the Bible. his specific birth.
he predicted his own death, who would betray him, and who would deny him. he said he would tear down the temple stone by stone.
there was a great earthquake when he died that tore the temple down. there was darkness for 3hrs. some claim the darkness was an eclipse. eclipses don't last 3hrs.
we know he lived. we know he died: his heart was pierced with a spear by the centurion. blood and water flowed from the wound. with their limited knowledge, they wouldn't know that during crucifixion, a kind of liquid gathers around some cavity near the heart. when it was pierced, water flowed out.
his friends wouldn't wrap him in linen if there was a chance he was still alive.
crucifixion was a form of execution. it was done to confirm that the victim was dead.
I believe in God and Jesus. and i still believe in God and Jesus after watching this video. i am not delusional. i can prove that Jesus, was born, died, and was raised again.
Roman historians (Tacitus, Josephus), Jesus' enemies (in the Bible) recorded tiny bits of his life. which means he lived, yes? they said he did many miracles, which just about explains the "magical" bits to you.he opened the eyes of the blind, the ears of the deaf, etc...he raised people from the dead.
Mary was a virgin, she stuck to anal.

This is just wrong...

marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr Christians are the ones making imaginary claims. You have one poorly written book and you're willing to base your life on it. Is that logical ? Why are Christians so afraid of the truth ? Or at least not eccepting a bad explaination.
SHADOW10621 1 month ago
@SHADOW10621 The same reason Atheists are afraid of the truth. the truth is that no one knows if god exists or not. Atheists are just as afraid of this uncertainty as the christians. "Atheists are afraid of the truth"
I don't BELIEVE that, though.
voiceoftruth2006 1 month ago
@marquezr Have you gone and went to Heaven? Your argument isn't wrong but nore is his/her... In reality no one can know since its always up to specualtion... Why is it that way and how can we say its that and not somethign we don't understand?... Just saying!!!
curemymind 1 month ago
@curemymind That's exactly my point. I'm not saying that their is or their isn't a heaven, god, etc. All I'm saying is that no one knows. Both atheists and christians claim to KNOW one way or the other. In that sense, the atheists are just as bad as the christians. They are claiming to KNOW that god doesn't exist when they really have no way of knowing that.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr
"Both atheists and christians claim to KNOW"
As I've already told you, atheism isn't about knowledge; it's about belief, or more specifically the lack of it. I don't KNOW if any gods exist, but I don't BELIEVE they do. Similarly I don't KNOW if a colony of invisible beavers live on the moon or not, but I don't BELIEVE so.

What exactly did I cherry-pick? I addressed your claim that atheists are afraid of the truth, I addressed - again - your claim that we say we KNOW gods don't exist and I cheerfully admitted that I don't know if any gods exist or not..
voiceoftruth2006 1 month ago
@marquezr ahhh But that is where you are wrong... Christians are all the same.. But not all atheists have the same view... Just look at me :)... That is where we differ... I am not saying all atheists are good or smart... Religion is the only one that states it as a fact when in reality they really don't know... Some atheists also do that but not all...
curemymind 1 month ago
@curemymind christians are all the same? REALLY??? i'm not even going to entertain that. The irony is that the bible itself says that there is no proof of god. The bible says that the only "proof" a believer has is faith. Since faith is believing in something without proof, then its self admitting that there is no proof. I would say that the vast majority of christians don't get that, but there are some that do. A christian that believes there is proof is one with weak faith.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr My bad should of been more specific... As in all Christians believe in god... I know that there is nor proof of god's exsistance.. Never said that it proves that god exsits... :|...

Rookerfy0 3 weeks ago
@Sarahlyonz Not sure what you're trying to say here. Judging by how you wrote your sentence, you may have a brain...not sure how well it's working... Atheists aren't delusional because they believe in god or gods. They're delusional because they think that they are able to answer something that they have no capability of doing. Most religious people do the same thing. They think they KNOW what the truth is The fact of the matter is that NO ONE KNOWS.
marquezr 1 month ago
@voiceoftruth2006 Same logic applies. Not that I necessarily agree that there is no EVIDENCE but regardless, not having evidence of something does not mean that it does not exist. That being said, I think that there is plenty of evidence that does not lead to proof but is still evidence.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr
"not having evidence of something does not mean that it does not exist."
Correct. On the other hand it most certainly means there's no reason to think it DOES exist.
voiceoftruth2006 1 month ago
@voiceoftruth2006 Correct. This is where I think atheists go wrong. They claim to KNOW that it it does NOT exist. Bottom line: anyone that thinks that they can definitively answer the question of whether or not god or gods exist, is a bit arrogant.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr
"They claim to KNOW that it does NOT exist"
No we don't. Atheism is not a claim of knowledge; it's a lack of belief. Can I state with 100% certainty that no gods exist? Of course I can't. However neither can I state with absolute certainty that Russell's Teapot doesn't exist, and I don't believe in that either.
With SPECIFIC gods, though, it is often very easy to be certain that they don't exist. For example what do you think are the chances of Thor existing?
voiceoftruth2006 1 month ago
@voiceoftruth2006 Well, I guess that, that depends on the specific atheist. In my experience and opinion, atheists go FAR beyond just lacking a belief in god to an absolute denial that any deities exist. It's the difference between "do you believe in a god or gods?" vs "does god exist?". I think most atheists don't even differentiate between those two questions and really have a big problem with people who don't answer "NO" to the latter.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr
There's not much practical difference. If someone doesn't BELIEVE that gods exist, what are they going to answer when you ask "Do gods exist?" Simple: "No."
voiceoftruth2006 1 month ago
@voiceoftruth2006 thanks for proving my point. As i said before, those are two very different questions/answers and most atheists can't/won't differentiate. What are they going to answer? How about "I DON'T KNOW"?.To be fair, most are not wise enough when presented with a yes/no question to go for that super secret answer C: I don't know. The beginning of wisdom and the foundation of science is to admit your own ignorance. In that sense, atheists are just as unwise as any christian.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr
"I don't know" is a good answer for someone who doesn't know if they believe in gods or not. For an atheist it would be dishonest. I don't believe that werewolves exist; if you asked me "Are there werewolves?" would you really expect me to say "I don't know"?
voiceoftruth2006 1 month ago
@voiceoftruth2006 Again, two different questions. I'm not saying that you should answer "I Don't know" to the the belief in god. The "I Don't know" is in response to "Does God exist?" Your werewolf analogy is not adequate. Our ability to detect werewolves is much greater than our ability to detect a supreme being.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr I don't pretend to know if a God exist's and have never met an atheist who makes that claim. We just don't like religious people and the results and actions taken in the name of an unknown entity. Go to any religious service and listen to any pastor and as yourself "how does he know that". And where do they get their information. It's absurd
SHADOW10621 4 weeks ago
@voiceoftruth2006 and again, I'm not at all saying that god exists in the way that many people claim. Another thing that atheists like to do is use the idea of god that is presented by many christians, etc. to argue against. That's giving too much credit to the religious and quite frankly, it's like taking candy from a child.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr atheists don't claim to know for sure(that's a/gnostics), just reject religious beliefs. Because you don't know if pink unicorns exist shouldn't behave or believe as if you they existed. However what all religions claim that they know the exact truth, for example.
God is all loving, merciful, omnipotent, all knowing, created the universe, adam n eve, flood, send his only son, has angels etc. So you think atheists get it wrong?
linkuei83 5 days ago
As for evidence? I think science itself has brought forward many interesting facts that seem to indicate some kind of god or at least intelligence involved in at least the development of life on earth. This of course does not mean that GOD exists, at least not necessarily the way many christians believe him to be.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr
"I think science itself has brought forward many interesting facts that seem to indicate some kind of god or at least intelligence involved in at least the development of life on earth."

voiceoftruth2006 1 month ago
@voiceoftruth2006 Our continuing discovery of the complexity of our DNA that continues to grow the odds against the idea that life just accidentally happened this way. Even in astronomical terms the odds are huge. Again, this doesn't mean that Eve is was made out of a rib, Jesus rode a dinosaur, and all gays go to hell. For all we know, it could've been highly advance (relatively) aliens that did it. If so, could they be so advanced they may as well be gods? Who knows.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr
But nobody's SAYING that "Life just accidentally happened this way." There are a whole lot of options between accident and design; one of them - which, not coincidentally, is supported by all the available evidence - is evolution by natural selection acting on random mutations.
voiceoftruth2006 1 month ago
@voiceoftruth2006 Don't know what you think i meant by accident but evolution neither affirms or denies accident or design. And again, most people think that evolution disproves god or intelligent design/interference, etc. Mostly because they like to argue against the Christians because it's the easy argument. It's very easy to disprove that Jesus rode a dinosaur. But that doesn't prove that god doesn't exist. There is no definitive proof either way.
marquezr 1 month ago
@marquezr

8698gil 1 month ago
I was raised in a very religious protestant home, and I remember as a young child I simply couldn't understand how my parents "knew" that their church was the right one. We had catholics living next door. When I was about 5 I asked my neighbour if she believed in god, because my parents told me they didn't. She told me my parents lied to me about that, catholics do believe in god.

I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal saviour and I know that when I die, I'll go to heaven. and how do we know that medication for people that are suffering from mentle illness) is not delusional.getmy point?..wow..unbelievable..if you knew any thing about God, you would know that he is not into any man made religion) you are a sign that real DECEPTION AND DELUSION) IS AT WORK HERE. so that tells me that something real is about to come. great deception) keep it up..
corneliuslb 2 months ago
@corneliuslb "getmy point?" No, it's essentially gibberish.
If god's "not into" any man made religion, then at least we agree religion is silly.
Problem is, without any evidence of any kind whatsoever, beleif in a deity is, as you put it, all about "DECEPTION AND DELUSION," particularly since religions are useless in explaining god (per you.)
Since man can't explain god, and god apparently won't explain himself, there is no more reason to believe in her than in carnivorous alien uncorns.

Great videos

All these stories are imaginary because they are all fables from which a deeper underlying message can be drawn. If we were all to understand this and move from one religion to the next and draw from them the greater truths being taught, then enlightenment would come at a quicker pace. We are here for our experience, so we need to begin experiencing and stop bickering among ourselves.
mratkinson2007 2 months ago
@mratkinson2007 I'm all for it. So we start calling them myth-beliefs and quit using the word "religion" and all the peripheral contexts that come with it. Sounds good.

The Christian story was stupid how you said it, it was not a ghost it was an Angel and that was not magic. How can people make things up like this.
thelifehealer 2 months ago
wrong. There is scientific evidence that praying is changing things. At least a prayer can help people in recover from a disease. This video shows that the one who made it, did not study enough, did not do research in a proper way and just made up his own opinion. Praying is not a bad thing at all.
amiyah1603 2 months ago
@amiyah1603 thats alie - test on prayers for recovery from sick ness - have no affect if the sick person doesnt know about it - and an adverse affect if the sick person does know - prayer is bad helping for the sick

Your spirituality will be healed :-)
zakquack 2 months ago
@zakquack Hahha...good one!
You're...you're not serious, are you? Please say you're just "trollin' for fun."
If not, much fun can be had the assumptions and conclusions you just typed!
donfishmaster 2 months ago
@donfishmaster No. this is a logic-problem. If you solve it, you can respect your own personal spiritual beliefs... If you mock me and disregard this logic, you're not fit to enter into a discussion regarding spirituality.
zakquack 2 months ago
@zakquack Have you ever seen Antarctica? The far side of the moon? Adolph Hitler?
The fact that you "have never personally seen a microscope" is kind of indicative of your relationship to science.
If you don't "believe" in the south pole, a spherical moon, or the Fuhrer, fine. I could care less.
Naturally then, you don't believe in any deity/Magical Sky Daddy. If you do your entire belief system is based on......
craziness.
donfishmaster 2 months ago
@donfishmaster I do believe in germs and things that I do not have first-hand knowledge of... Because I don't walk around with a superiority complex, calling people liars, and making snide remarks about them...
What I'm telling you is that I have first-hand experience using my Pineal Gland to witness the Glory of God. You are undoubtedly going to call me delusional... But you, too, have the ability to pierce the veil and peel back the curtain of the illusionary material world...
zakquack 2 months ago
@zakquack ...and YOU! Your "proof of Magical Sky Daddy's existence" is that your pineal gland tells you stories.
No, I'm not going to call you delusional 'cause that simply goes without saying.
You should probably start drinking more alcohol, not so much to get drunk but so you can quiet those annoying voices in your head!
donfishmaster 2 months ago
@donfishmaster Mock me if you want... I'm not a Christian, so I know its hard for you to debate me... I like the strawman of the magical sky daddy.. Clever. What I'm talking about is the Grand Organizing Design.. Sacred Geometry within and without. Amazon has over 5000 books relating to these concepts... At least one of them will give you the tools you need to see the truth. Or you can continue to be a closed-minded asshole... "You don't have a soul. You ARE a soul. You have a body."
zakquack 2 months ago
@zakquack" Mock me if you want... "
Okee-dokeee. Read your last two posts.
You're a complete whack-job.
"Sacred Geometry." Ahhh yes, a well-documented scientific field of study and endeavour.
Amazon has lots of books relating to Middle Earth, Harry Potter, Vulcans, Thetans, and alien contacts involving physical displacement and sexual probing.
I see the problem, I'm not a whack-job like you with crazy random beliefs.Maybe Monty Python's "silly walk" would provide "understanding" as well
donfishmaster 2 months ago
@donfishmaster for a split second your mind was opened but then you quickly shut it down... It's fine. I have no stake in your mental, emotional, or spiritual well-being. Keep your closed-minded attitude.
But so we're clear, you did not even try to solve my logic-puzzles :-P
At least I have a nose :-P
zakquack 2 months ago
@zakquack No problem, for less than a split second I thought you were lucid, but then you hit the "Post" button and put your thoughts out there for others to see and that suspicion passed immediately.
donfishmaster 2 months ago
@donfishmaster at least i have a nose ;p
zakquack 2 months ago
@donfishmaster my proof is available to all... But relatable to none... I see you could not solve my logic problem... Now, how about the second logic problem I posed? Imagine God is a smell, all around you, everywhere, except you don't have a nose... Would you be able to tell?
I am telling you that you can acquire a nose... And you are calling me crazy.. Yes, when someone without a nose hears talks about smells I'm sure that it would seem very crazy... Until you get a nose.
zakquack 2 months ago
@donfishmaster In a world with no noses, would you be aware of how bad you smell?
How do you know that you just don't have a nose? Metaphorically speaking.

i am an atheist, however, and i know i'm probably going to start a flame war over this but.. how do we know, that being "outside the bubble" of all religions is a bubble in itself?

U guys should really check out "Ravi Zacharias - Is Faith Delusional" (6 Parts)
Hes a very brilliant Apologetic and answers all the questions that sceptics have in a logical way and leaves no questions open!

By the way never once in the bible does it mention these "magical" events you are just adding the word magical which makes this video false. I'm pretty sure you are stuck inside your own "bubble".
Jdallem202020 3 months ago
@Jdallem202020 Adding a descriptive word to the ones you think are set in granite is not making his video a false set of information.
What is funny about you book,,, the supposed friends and witnesses never wrote the books named after them. Then there is the glaring fact,,, they all do not have the same description of his life and death. Some really obvious clues to the jew fraud aka christianity. They wrote 3 versions, one for themselves, one for you to the north, and one for the Persians.

we know he lived. we know he died. we know he was and is the Christ. we know his disciples weren't lying. we know Jesus' life is all true.
so if Jesus' life is all true, why wouldn't the rest of the Bible be true? it's all the same story: God is Lord, and Jesus is the key to everlasting life. God is the one and only true God, and He is the only one we should ever worship. <3God Bless<3
TheRedwallfan101 3 months ago
@TheRedwallfan101 Pretty good,, evidence-based, and scientific...
except everything after "we know he died" is utter fairy-tail bullshit.
Besides that though, well done!
donfishmaster 3 months ago
@TheRedwallfan101 There is nothing "true" about that bible story of a jesus.
The best case is where do they get all that valuable wood to throw away as an execution stand? Moronics will believe most anything someone they look up to tells them.
SlackerSlayer 2 months ago
@SlackerSlayer seriously? after this, you're asking about two pieces of wood? (six if you count the other two criminals...) they used crucifixion on other people too, not just the Christ and the guys on either side of him. and it's not like it had to stand up there for months. or are you saying that using crucifixion to kill criminals never existed either?
TheRedwallfan101 2 months ago
@TheRedwallfan101 Yeah it is the detail that blows the liars plans. Nice how things work out for the better though.
Ever hear of the wonderful advice,,, "consider the source"? You are speaking of "facts" you found in the bible, how crazy is that to think it is some form of history book. It is a derivative of a plagiarizers work aka the torah. Do you know when the christians big four parts were written,,, by his best pals? mark luke matt and dee udder dood?
SlackerSlayer 2 months ago
@SlackerSlayer a large part of the Bible written by Paul, too, who killed a whole lot of Christians. true, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were good friends of Christ, but why are you telling me this if you don't even believe the Bible is truth?
TheRedwallfan101 2 months ago
we know he lived. we know he died. we know he was and is the Christ. we know his disciples weren't lying. how do we know this is all true?
again, i say we have Roman historian's work. they were Jesus' enemies. they would want, more than anything, to say that Jesus is not the Christ, and our Saviour. their records confirmed that Jesus lived, did miracles, died, and rose again, but they have to try and provide EXCUSES. which never work out.
TheRedwallfan101 3 months ago
how do we know the disciples weren't lying? because, they were all killed in the end for Jesus. if they were lying, they could've just denied Jesus and been set free. why would they die for their own lie? and no, don't answer that they were just lunatics.
when Jesus ascended into the heavens, the disciples carried on his work, healing and driving out demons in His name.
TheRedwallfan101 3 months ago
when he was placed in the tomb, a giant stone was rolled in front of it a Roman guards set in front of it. according to the Bible, two angels rolled aside the stone, the guards frightened. The tomb was empty. how could that have happened?
some people claim the disciples stole the body and played tricks. when Jesus appeared to them, even they thought he was a ghost, come to haunt. no. Jesus let them feel his wounds, he cooked for them, he spoke with them. he LIVED with them.
TheRedwallfan101 3 months ago
we know he lived. we know he died. how do we know he was and is the Christ?
his birth was predicted MANY times in the Bible. his specific birth.
he predicted his own death, who would betray him, and who would deny him. he said he would tear down the temple stone by stone.
there was a great earthquake when he died that tore the temple down. there was darkness for 3hrs. some claim the darkness was an eclipse. eclipses don't last 3hrs.
TheRedwallfan101 3 months ago
we know he lived. we know he died: his heart was pierced with a spear by the centurion. blood and water flowed from the wound. with their limited knowledge, they wouldn't know that during crucifixion, a kind of liquid gathers around some cavity near the heart. when it was pierced, water flowed out.
his friends wouldn't wrap him in linen if there was a chance he was still alive.
crucifixion was a form of execution. it was done to confirm that the victim was dead.
TheRedwallfan101 3 months ago
I believe in God and Jesus. and i still believe in God and Jesus after watching this video. i am not delusional. i can prove that Jesus, was born, died, and was raised again.
Roman historians (Tacitus, Josephus), Jesus' enemies (in the Bible) recorded tiny bits of his life. which means he lived, yes? they said he did many miracles, which just about explains the "magical" bits to you.he opened the eyes of the blind, the ears of the deaf, etc...he raised people from the dead.
