lol i hate when ppl think that the best guitarists are the legends that lived and died, or perhaps are still alive and but havent released material in a long time. Tremonti and MAB always bring something new to the table, its no wonder that tremonti has been chosen as the guitarist of the year 3 years in a row and won a grammy, and been in one of the worlds most successful bands ever. BTW the guitarists of the 4 big bands of metal are nothing compared to tremonti and MAB and thats a fact.

so because you can't appreciate shred means that he's just a robot? it's a music genre, not a sci-fi spectacle. personally, I can't get enough of this stuff. shred conveys so much emotion, it's insane. if you can't feel it, then that's your problem, not the artists who do this kind of stuff. FYI: it's a lot more complex than just running scales up and down.

I think it's awesome to see other artists (and not just some fanclub owners, band members, family members, etc. only) to have other people commenting on how nice of a guy Batio is. I get sick of stuck-up artists nowadays, so that's good to see someone that seems to be more humble. :-)

@jmr1068204 If you ever have a chance to see one of his clinics, I recommend doing so, you get to see exactly what kind of a person he is. He talks about all kinds of random crap throughout, by the time it's over you feel like you've known the guy for years.
