Cats and dogs can get along really well. My cat and my dog used to be together all day, even back when my cat used to be an outdoor cat (i moved him indoors now cause outdoor is a bad idea). When my dog died my cat would meow really angry and cry when he couldnt find her and just sit there all day doing nothing like he was depressed. It was sad.

Why do they keep two animals together that are obviously antagonistic towards each other? For their own amusement? That seems kind of sadistic. Notice how the dog always picks fights with the cat. The cat just wants to be left alone.

It seems sadistic that someone would actually roam around just to find a video like this and complain about it... without actually having been there to gauge the attitudes/personalities of each animal.
If cat doesnt like it, it has some persuasive tools to stop the advance of the dog. Dogs are wusses, when something stings/pierces skin... they yelp and run (small dogs anyways).

The cat could certainly kick the puppy's little butt if it really wanted to. They are friends. If the cat felt the pup was really being antagonistic towards it he would certainly put a stop to it.
