  • Ugh, so many Keynesian fallacies in this, I couldn't finish. Harper is just another socialist.

  • hey

  • This all so much window dressing.

The G8/20 are groups whose main aim is to sink all of us dupes/slaves into plutocratic system.

As this system advances its agenda, their methods become more obvious, look at your government and how corporate lobbyists influence or manipulate all economic decisions our respective governments make.

Stephen Harper doesn't have a hidden agenda-he's carrying out the wishes of corporations, banks and big oil.

  • What's wrong with him? Has he been drinking? Did he just smoke a dube? or are his contacts fogging up? Maybe he can't stand the smell of his own bullshit.

  • Dear Harper,

Canada is better than you! Time for you to go!

    Sincerely,

    a Canadian patriot

  • FREEDOM OVER SECURITY

  • "When Canada holds the G20 and the G8"...you will watch as innocent Canadian protestors are beaten down on public streets by our riot police after provocateurs have done their role, as an example of my power in my country as leader.

  • Harper is the worst thing to ever happen to Canada.

  • Saved it as a bit.ly code URL

    Named it: globaltyrannysvelvetglovemodel

I can instantly recall stuff better when I name it honestly.

I was wishing for something more humorous for it; but witnessing a basically once-good man, watching his own fiat-paper house of illusionary cards burn ~ while his cro-magnon bro's hold their gun's to his head (lighters burning in their left paw) ~ is always a very painful activity.

    Love all.

Thank you my honest bro Mark.

  • A truly great Canadian leader, thank you Prime Minister Harper!

  • @tantawi1992 avaaz.org/en/no_fox_news_canada/?vl Canadian money to bring in FOX NEWS to serve our PM

  • avaaz.org/en/no_fox_news_canada/?vl Canadian money to bring in FOX NEWS to serve our PM

  • Harpers ALONE........lie baby lie

The world sees a fool. avaaz.org/en/no_fox_news_canada/?vl Harper giveing money to fox news......... must vote

  • Also, to applaud Harper for his work with the Canadian economy, when it was the banking regulations that the Liberals initiated (regulations that Harper disagrees with no less) that prtoected Canadians to begin with, is absurd. Shame on Harper for taking credit for something he had no hand in.

  • @Danhra Uh?! What the heck do you know of banking regulations and politics. That comment is WAY off!

  • Harper is the biggest Elitest ever to step thrown in Canada, He is a threat to Candas Security!

  • @OurStyleZ you are a thread to canada's security

  • What a treat to watch the leader of Canada making us proud. After years of embarrassing representives under the liberals this is soooo over due.Can you imagine JC or Dion trying to deliver this speech.Harper is uniting Canada under his watch.A once again proud Canada..Oh yaaa...

  • @stranger338 ahahahahaha that's good: "Harper is uniting Canada" God I hope you are joking. You do realize that Harper has only been PM during minority governments.... meaning he has never once had the support of majority of voters. At that, the only reason he is able to hold the power he doesn is due to the lack of viable competition; certainly you don't think it is bc of his merit or appeal!! Please tell me you are not that dense.

  • Canada, the little country (or large country as it may be) that could... :)

  • Scripted....more theatre...bravo...."when do we get the truth?" I know the answer to that question....never.

  • g20= global slavery

  • Harper is that man, often misunderstood, but a good economist doubt.

  • I don't think many Canadians think the great management of the economy was due to Harper.. he's only helped create a giant deficit. As recent as 2005, Paul Martin was the PM and he believed in a balanced budget, regulation and balanced economy that didn't bankrupt the middle class.

  • Left & right, liberal & conservative. Can't you all see these people are nothing but puppets put on display in an eleborate hoax called the Canadian Paliament and that nothing these jokers do actually changes anything in this country.

If you want to know who is really in charge find out where the "government" borrows the money we are all in debt for. Remember, the hand that gives is above the hand that takes.

  • Would you liberals quit whining. You guys can't even form a government wait until you can forum competent parties. Before wasting more money on another election.

  • very good point! having been a former liberal partisan, i have come to disdain their reckless fiscal policies.

    Canadians Against Proroguing Parliament

220,000 members since January 1st, 2010, the day after Harper announced he was shutting down our Parliament.

An announcement on New Year's Eve. Suspicious no?

33,000+ protestors across Canada and globally took to the streets last Sat. Jan. 23rd, 2010. Harper thinks it's just a stunt. He will not be Canada's PM for much longer.

  • (1:00) "...you have best managed, of all the G7/G8 countries, the present economic crisis".

Congratulations. It seems the lefty penchant for misdirection has finally shown some results, and you've you managed to convince some Canadians that prorogation is something worth getting their hemp-cloth panties in a bind over. Meanwhile, Canada continues to chug away economically while the rest of the western world hemorrhages cash. Very slick.

Video: Afghan prisoner issue creates political crisis in Canada

The Real News Network takes a look at Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper's decision to shut down Parliament, allegedly to avoid a no-confidence vote over the treatment of Afghan prisoners by the Canadian armed forces.

  • Canadians might well ask just how committed the federal government is to helping the poor. Early in December 2009, the Conservative Party cut funds for a Canadian international development organisation, KAIROS, which works to reduce poverty in developing nations. KAIROS, "... effects social change through advocacy, education and research programs in: Ecological Justice, Economic Justice, Energy and Extraction, Human Rights, Just and Sustainable Livelihoods, and Indigenous Peoples."

  • Is this the description of KAIROS before or after they stripped their website and public media of all the anti-Israel rhetoric? Which, by the way, coincided neatly with having their funding stripped away.

Their tune is a much more conciliatory one now that their political motivations have had an impact on their tax-payer funded hate-mongering.

Maybe they should take up a collection plate in Toronto. There are lots of gullible fools/leftoids with an Israel hate-on from down thataway.

  • Harper should focus on Canada if he wants to better child health: Inuit leader

    By Bob Weber (CP)

"If you're going to talk the talk, you might as well practise it in your own country."

But the day before Harper's article was printed, two major studies were published showing that Inuit infant mortality is nearly four times the Canadian average and 70 per cent of Inuit preschoolers live in homes where there isn't always enough food.

  • why is it that innuit and native communities NEVER look in the mirror and ask themselves how can WE do better at managing our communities? sadly, an adverse affect of continual hand-outs leads to dependancy and irresponsibility.

  • Very nice speech from our Prime Minister Harper. Great Job! Lots of respect for Canada.

    From Montreal Quebec

  • Thank you....justice for the impoverished.

In a world of that tends to deny unicorn myths, it's nice to know leaders still believe that elves and sprites can work in sync to defeat the harsh and cold environment that surrounds us all.

    Enlighten leadership...imagine that!!...

    We are blessed!!
