I wasn't actually too fond of Fumoffu, but I adore Second Raid. It all boils down to which aspect of FMP you enjoyed the most: Fumoffu focuses mostly on the school life antics, and Seconds Raid is more focused on the military aspects of the series (this is not to say, however, that it loses it's wit; Seconds Raid is just as charming and entertaining as the original).
