And I understand that graphical quality is in the eye of the beholder, but SNES is over a decade old, and it's horrible agedness is no longer a question of opinion. The fact is that the graphics are irrevocably dated. So while some things on the DS may be jagged and pixely, they are indeed better than SNES graphics, you may have noticed that SNES graphics are nothing but pixely. Man! We would play this game over and over all day all summer. This game was the best! And it was only two players, so we'd have to take turns, but we liked it! I always played Koopa Troopa, for sure! I love at the end when you past the finish line and then you raise your hands off the wheel over and over. "Look, Mom! No hands!" :D

The best Mario Kart it has a feeling the jump to 3d seems to have lost in transition.

I played this yesterday and became instantly addicted to the game again even after all these years. The driving takes skill and the items are not unfair penalising you for being in first place I'd take this over the other Mario Karts =D.

I remember playing this game for hours at a time. This was back when the systems were SNES or Sega Genesis. I used to get so angry at the computer because it would clearly cheat. Sometimes in 150cc they would speed up somehow by weaving back and forth, and especially when I would see them jump over an object on the track. When I got an N64 I was determined to get MK64 with it too.

Did you guys ever know that you can shrink your character before you select them? Look it up.
