I LOVE THE SHOW! Why did they cut off that early!! What I observe in this show is that they got some Gossip Girl actors in it.. Hahaha.. So funny how Georgina became Eric's (who also happened to be there) Ex-Boyfriend's nurse (The ex is also the ex-boyfriend of J Humphrey.. remember that dude).. :D

honestly, the first scene is impossible. a nurse can't do that. they can't do what doctors do, eventhough they know how to do it. i know somebody that lost her nursing license because she tried to save a dying person. Eventhough she actually saved the guy, she got fired from the hospital she works in.

@boy29girl Some nurses can do things that typically ER/trauma drs do. I have a friend that flies for a life flight helicopter and she's been trained to do things like the hit in the chest to try to start a heart. So you aren't completely accurate. There are no absolutes in nursing.

@rnjen2b1 you are talking about a life flight nurse. they need every hand they could get. i dont know much about them, but if they are letting them do this kind of stuff, i'm pretty sure they gave them authority to do it... For this nurse, she's doing major procedures without any authority or supervision Even her superiors consider letting the guy die instead of her, disobeying the rules 0:40 .... If something goes wrong with the patient in her hands, the hospital is up for really big law suit.

RN's don't do SHIT. This is so misleading. RNs sit in chairs and chat on the phone or do paperwork. Its health care aides,PSWs and RPNs that do the real Nursing. Nursing to me is actually doing nursey stuff and nursing a patient in need back to health, not doing his paperwork or being Boss in charge of the floor he rests on. Only thing an RN is good for is handing the doc tools in ER or making sure the pile of paper doesn't get too high. Nurse= actual Nursing= PSW, HCA etc etc Yeh i"m a hater!

Mercy is a GOOD show but ..nbc KINGS on the other hand is a GREAT, MAGNIFCENT SHOW.

i can see why people would compare this show to nurse jackie but i would sooo watch this over nurse jackie. i just dont like her character which makes me want to throw something at the screen whenever shes talking which makes me not want to see the show. to be fair tho, i havent seen much of mercy either. i just looked it up cos i saw all those outraged comments over the cancellation of the show. i just think if this show gets axed, so should nurse jackie

@Ser3n yeah this a pathetic version. the whole thing with the nurse having an affair i mean i know it happens but come that is so nurse Jackie minus where she cares about the other nurses. as a matter fact she does have any nurse friends. i love this show.. usually it's the physicians who get all the attention but here, it makes you see the other side of things.. nurses are like the mother figure of all healthcare providers.. And I'm proud to be one..
