They probably didn't have enough air built up and didn't release the springs brakes. They should've crawled in there and caged the springs on the tag axel. I thought they blew the drive shaft but I see now that they yanked something out from under the engine. Most of the engine cradle is made of aircraft grade aluminum. They probably wrapped around that and broke it loose.
