correction yes it came out that way but what i was meaning is what is causing that performance stats to be less when the HP is the same but is no big deal! 600's are a lot faster than they used to be!

If this has the same hp as a 93 900rr how come it is slower 0-60 and a much lower top end speed!

@theantiredneck The 08 600RR doesn't have as much HP as the 93 900RR and it has much less torque. You're really going to hate on a 600RR for having a lower top speed than a bike with 1.5x the displacement and almost twice the torque?

Two completely different classes, two completely different bikes.

hey nice bike but i got a question ...im really tryin to get into the sport ...i was just wondering .....can a cbr 600 be a gud starter bike ...i mean i can ride a lil bite i started riding on a ninja 650 and i think i handle it really well but i was just wonderin can that cbr 600 be a gud starter bike because of that fact in the next week or so im goin to start lookin for one just asking

My first bike was a 600. These bikes are pretty quick. People will tell you not to do it but your in control of the throttle.

Just respect the bike and remember that the bike has more ability than you and then you will be fine.

Buy one!

Dude lube your chain. It's all rusted and if i have a bike like this i would be keeping it in pristine condition. Otherwise nice video.

@ELEchad It is lubed, just needed cleaned. Don't worry, I have cleaned it with kerosene and re-lubed it since this vid
