that god i had a taste of this-the alpenglow of quintessential Americana encompassing the early 1960's to the demise of the pure early 1960's untill the demise of the drive -inn and the pre fascism of felonies for chewing gum in class, cell phones, privatized prisions. the music which was based on quality not the opposite today. Think about this was only 12 years previous to the era-not set,but in fact. Then came a truly -the next snap shot of a time in america that's over-saturday night fever.
"Did anyone ever tell you that you look just like Connie Stevens?" Candy if you look at this were you at the Old Feed Mill Auction in Boonton NJ. I swear I saw you there. I was going to use the line but I wasn't sure it was you.
American Graffiti is one of my favorite movies It was great to watch and listen to Candy Clark and Bo Hopkins talk about the film. Wish I could have been there. When did the event take place?
I had the pleasure of meeting Candy, TODAY! We were at a big motorcycle rally in Southern California and she was there signing autographs on stilla from the movie. She let my wife take a pic of her and me and she was the nicest, warmest person you'd want to meet. When I looked up and saw it was her I just blurted out, "OH MY GOD!" The first thing she did was give me a hug. It totally made my day. The movie resonated with me my whole life. One of my favorites of all time. Thanks Candy!!
The 55 Chevy from this movie is in BALTIMORE.... Owner Denny Maran & Wayne Newsome.... Richard Ruth (builder of cars) stated THIS IS IT!... The ONE of 3 cars

Geeze, Bo. Could you be a bit more aloof? Thank goodness Candy was there to keep the conversation flowing.

I think he embodies the definition of laconic. Seems like a typical guy from the southern US...think he is from the Carolinas.
