Their debut album on CBS, had some of their strongest material up to that point. I'm glad they eventual gained more creative control and created the 'Destiny' and 'Triumph' albums, which are classics. But its cool that they got to do an album with the maestros of Philly soul, Gamble & Huff, whose string laden epic soul suites were one of the reigning sounds of popular music in the mid to late 70's.
@seesdj Arrangement By Dexter Wansel and conducted By Dexter Wansel. That would be me! Hahahaha. Thank you jacksonsjtjmmr for this excellent posting. A bit of history. I invited Tito to play guitar on all my rhythm recordings with regards to the songs I wrote/produced and arranged for The Jacksons. Which he did. But on this particular song I got him to do this great guitar solo towards the end. Afterwards Tito revealed he never played on any of their Motown recordings!!
Damn this feel good!!!
