Those were the days! My friends and I would dance till the wee hours of the morn to Charlie and the Nightcats at Tootsie's and Harry's Bar and grill in Sacto in the 80s and early 90s . They were the best band in town (R&B)
I've never wanted to hear this band playing blues rock cover songs. Charlie is a guitar master and should not have to bow to playing blues rock songs to please a crowd. Swing Charlie Swing!!!!
what year is this? looks like late 90's? that drummer is from back then, have seen this band some dozen times, the best show I ever saw ever, was at this park in late 90's, they were just "ON" like crazy one night and they must of played for 2 hours it seemed. I took a bunch of people that never seem them on that night, and we were all up next to the stage haha woooo boy
I used to see these guys up the coast , at the Caspar Inn (by Mendocino, Ca.) in the 80s and they were always so great! Nice guys, too. We would sit and talk after I miss those days. Dancing and drinking until the night was over.
Brings back happy memories. For a live recording it's nicely put together. Would like some more uploads of the Nightcats with vocals

I remember these guys at the Club 400 Sacramento in the mid 80s with a lot of local street people bouncing to the Sunday night jam. Great times!
