  • Oops. Sorry, Didn't mean to comment twice. Didn't seem like it was working, so I hit "post" more than once. :O

  • Great video! I agree--we need to learn new skills etc.. But how do we get water without electricity? Any ideas? Would appreciate help on this. Maybe you could do a video on it if you have ideas? Thanks! God bless. BTW I saw your video with the water jug and using bleach-thanks. But what about long term water needs?

  • please redo this video i can't understand you. SPEAK UP and where do you live you never say.

D- on the video with this grade you will not pass this class mr.

  • need better mic or closer to mic talk

    for future reference:)

  • good point. canning supplies are a must.

  • cheers! but don't the collard greens and hens go bad if you don't have a refrigerator and the marxist utopianists cut off your electricity to save the planet from global warming?

  • yes, i have heard some say that if there is a failure your account will go into government receivership so don't worry. But that could end up like fannie and freddie. During the depression fdr confiscated gold at something like 20.67 and reflated it at 35 devaluing the dollar 40% instantly.

I was thinking with excess cash you can always buy materials that have long term value. Like a bottle of scotch will always be of value if fiat cash goes hay wire. Look at the zimbabwe stock exchange.

  • I think what scares many of us is how reliant we are on whats happening with the economy. During the depression and other hard times many Americans were self sufficient enough they were able to scrape out an existence to make ends meet. Today when you ask kids where milk comes from they tell you "the store". It's scary to think how people that disconnected are going to react if times get real hard.

  • Scutter, We as a nation, through hard work and innovation have created a standard of living that is the highest in the world. We have made so many things that benefit the world. Who is at the forefront helping Haiti right now?? The USA. What bothers me is the sense of ENTITILEMENT that people have and the govt owes them something. People must get involved, and they also must learn to settle for less when things get tough, and not spend more that what they have.

  • We are so frickin' spoiled out here in socal. I find inspiration in looking at life as you do. Tons of complacent sheeple out here.

  • we are not spoiled. Everyone else is deprived.

  • Straight Buddhism! Let go of all your 'possession' and you'll truly learn why our life is here.

  • JP Morgan is the largest distripbutor/overseer of Food Stamps

That should scare the crap out of everybody. There are currently 37 million people in US on food stamps. Many of them are working. JP Morgan is predicting this to continue increase, as it has already skyrocketed since 2008.

Get your pantry's stocked with dry good now. Dont be in a position to duke it out with rude agressive people when prices are through the roof & availibilty is short .

  • Well Scutter....in the south here (we are neighbors) we have freezing rain now supposed to turn into snow all night and all day tomorrow. They'll close our roads. I use to live up north so I know how those below zero temps feel. I do think we are so spoiled and unless we know what to do in the pioneer days, we will be screwed.

  • They did a pbs reality series about this called frontier house. The thing is its very difficult to lose the things that we use like kitchen appliances and heat that's powered by electricity because we don't really know how to live without it. I've never built a fire to cook something.

  • pretty bad here in florida too. supposed to snow tomorrow

  • But I remember that time when I had nothing and I have respect and humility for poor ppl. Here in Europe some ppl think that You americans deserve this crisis... hm. May be You need this lesson?

  • I dont know about You but I always get pissed of when my friends are too sure bout themselves and when they think they deserve only good things and also when think that they are masters of own fate... so ungodly. I was like that too but I had my lesson... I am extremaly lucky person and Im sure Im too average and I would not achive what I have achived without Gods help and blessing. I had time when I was starving, God showed me th right way and He's with me. Now I have more I could dream about.

  • Hey scutter!

  • Video audio is too low. Very difficult to hear.

  • Yeah, sorry about that on this one. I was testing another cam out and it sucked big time.

  • very comforting video.

  • Friend we have not seen the bad times yet....I truly do not plan to be here ,but the ice is only cracked so far....these days are the Bible and His word coming true.

  • Sorry to break it to you, but it´s not up to us to plan if we´ll be here, but the Lord´s.

Besides, the Bible says it´s post, not pre-tribulation. Check your Bible.

  • Who here will share their "oil"? I fear we will see 1 oil-bearer for every 999 fools. The more important question is should we share? If God wants us to prepare and have stock of life's essentials, and not the baubles that concern most, does He want us to give in the hour of need?

  • Great questions!

The Law says you can follow the Law but that you need to have LOVE...

I guess, that answers your question.

    Greetings.

  • '5 Stars, as always

  • It will be interesting to see whom remains faithful when Christians are murdering Christians for the food in their house.

  • the wise and the foolish, the parable of the 10 virgins....some will have oil for their lamps....etc.

  • we're in the land of milk and honey it's not gonna hurt anyone to fend for themselves...instead of living off the abundance of "her" delicacies...babylon...

  • @cyndrellian

    Eactly.

  • @cyndrellian

    Couldnt say it etter

  • Thank you, his word is sometimes a sharp two edged sword, huh

  • So true, again.
