@Ifrianpsu i think the deep part is related to how the series could teach moral vallues and life lessons durin "drama" and fight scenes, durin my childhood i was both digimon and pokemon fan, while pokemon was fun as a game digimon provided more, it story was well writen and the lessons it teached me i will carry on until i die... digimon is sometin that will always live on the fans hearts, and brave heart is the simbol of that memory, at least for me XD

For digimon it had darker storyline. (They really died, not just fainted) and anime is just epic and more fun than pokemon. But the game isn't, it's way worse than pokemon.

@analume I'm not sure about that, but I can tell you that "Gato" in portuguese means literally "Cat". Think this way... For japanese people the word "Tail" is foreigner, but if you see it as an English speaker it is not. So maybe they change it so it would continue to look like a foreigner word. Of course this theory totally collapses when you look at other names like "WarGreymon" or "Angemon"

@thatonedigimonguy music doesnt matter, the thing that matters is the memory! when the first season of digimon came out, everyone was soooo excited, and turned out the anime was awesome as well. the second season couldnt retain the awesomeness of season 1, but i still loved it. yes the music may not be extremely good, but it brings back a lottt of memories every time we hear it, which automatically makes the music priceless. to conclude, songs that bring back childhood memories = win xD

@KHPandaZ It's used a few times in Adventure 02 (which is blasphemy seeing how bad that season is). Check out Tamers and Savers. Both great seasons as well. Hell, a good part of the fanbase thinks Tamers is better than the first Adventure, me included. The evolution songs for Tamers are "EVO" and "One Vision". Savers evolution song is "Believer"

1. Tamers was intended to be a darker, more subtle, introspective season. It was supposed to be different in that it explored the characters instead of being all action, all the time, and it succeeded on an epic level.

2. Ever seen the first Adventure movie? That also has an enormous Agumon. Oh, and did you also know that Sonic the Hedgehog has green eyes now? BAWW. Stop nitpicking and enjoy it for what it is.

Yeah, I think it could have used less emo scenes with Juri too, but that wasn't near enough to ruin the show for me. Savers and Tamers seem to me like the only two seasons where they weren't fighting some Digimon that they tacked on at the last minute, and they actually had buildup to it, even if neither ended with them fighting a Digimon.

I have to agree 1 and 2 second sesons rocked they gaved you the original adventure feeling they shall be rmembere forever TAmers was mediocore it didn't elaborated characters personality enough. FGroniter well was awfull may I say SAvers give a different feeling than 1 and 2 seasons but they are very good as well. Oh and I'd say Xwars(DIGIMON ARE BEING REVIVED THROUGH X-wars THIS YEAR) are not really that good.

Omnimon wins. Emperorgreymon friggin lost against Dynasmon, and took god knows how many episodes to finally beat him. Omnimon is WAY above him (except maybe Ulforceveedramon, but I just like Zeromaru) and so will soundly defeat Emperorgreymon.
