i have those dba 4000 with PFC Z compounds on my evo8 at all 4 corners. first track day i boiled the fluid (my fault, never changed to high temp stuff). a couple more track days on superblue brake fluid and i warped the front rotors. this is 4 months after i got them. kinda sad :(

@asshatnowhere159 At low speeds, yes - but at higher speeds less powerful brakes will not be able to create enough friction to lock up the wheels - so you can get much quicker slow down from improving your brakes.

I'm gonna start some crap.. LOL. .Insurance has a lot to do with the skills/age of the driver. Meaning inexperience drivers your insurance will be over $1,000 US dollars a month, cuz you got no driving skillz. I'm over 26 so pretty much my skills are Nascar level, my insurance for my Evo IX is $75 a month LOL. Look around, some insurance classify 2 doors as sports, so in this case a 4 door Evo is consider sedan and not sport, making the insurance much cheaper. Depends on where you live too.

The sedan thing doesn't have much to do with it. The high performance car thing does.

IDK for sure because I never asked but I will just to find out from my insurance company about an EVO 9. But if what you said 10k a year is true, then that insurance company can blow me because in 2 years you'll pay the car off....almost no point in getting it in less you plan to total it before 2 years is up lol.

Key things it to title the guy under your parents name and that way it's a lot cheaper and idk what else. I have never heard anyone needing to pay $10,000.00 a year for a $20,000.00 car.

$50 dollars a month, must have an insurance package for the whole family, thats what I got, we are all safe drivers in my house all 4 of use including our 4 cars, so we got a decent full coverage package for 3 out of the 4 and a PIP for the older 2005 Civic.

My insurance plan works like if I get more then 2 tickets in 2 year, then they will kick me out. I got a red light ticket 3 weeks ago, but I was 17 and today I turned 18 so maybe it won't count.

Thought we better clear this up. This test was done back to back with a brand new set of OEM rotors and pads then we compared them to the V-Sport upgrade pack. If you still have doubts make sure you keep an eye out for our new Evo X video where we will be comparing the stock brakes to our 5000 Series rotors.

Haha I swear every Evo or STI video has people fighting about which car is better. I'm just gonna say that I've driven an STI and they are just beautiful. I currently own an Evo X GSR which is fine for me. But really it's all about the driver. Whether you pick the Evo or the STI you still own one of the top rally cars on the market. Both of them are very well built and very fast cars. So stop bitchin peeps haha

I agree. The Evo and STI are so damn close to the same performance that its just depends on drivers personal preference. I own a Evo IX SE and have driven STI's and they are so damn close to the same car its not funny. The ever has a SLIGHT edge on the track with a roomier interior, while the STI has a bigger trunk and is a better car for everyday (hence it has Cruise). But really guys, if you havnt driven either car, then shut up. you look like idiots to us that own the cars.

Have you saw TOPGEAR Evo vs WRX vs Audi RS4? TOPGEAR team choosed EVO the most perfomant of all of this 3 cars and i tend to believe them rather than you. Even Murcielago didn't manage to get rid of EVO on the track. SO go sell your WRX and buy a EVO :)

Im telling you mkoo33 you really need to drive a subaru STI. Ive drive 2 of the 3 cars in your list. I own a WRX and Ive driven an EVO. The EVO is nice. But its still unreliable mitsubishi shit. Still has an inline 4 that has lots of turbo lag. The RS4 is sweet. I know a guy who has one and its absolutely nuts. But the Subaru all around is a better car hands down.  Mitsus are the FORD of japanese cars.

Im not talking the EJ20. I have an EJ225 and theres hardly any lag. Have to know how to drive it first. Mitsubishis are not the best japanese car. I know you love the EVO but most young kids get it because of the name. EVO....Its not better then the Subi. I know as ive said, ive driven lots of cars. And I will take a subi over a mitsu lancer EVO anyday.  I must admit the EVO has better styling. But thats about it.
