hahaha bunch of ignorant comments but bad at analyzing the band hhh doesnt sound one bit like mercyful fate, think of it as a psychedelic trip went wrong on satanic powers =D
As a Mercyful Fate fan, all I can say is, um ripoff?
I don't actually dislike this band, they're like an 80's flashback, but when I first heard them I was like "who the hell is this Mercyful Fate ripoff?"
i checked this band today...heard some of their songs...some pretty good fuckin job on 2011, do't ya think??? this album is actually pretty dope...i'll w8 to see more from ghost, they seem hella promising...
Clever song, its about elizabeth batorii the worlds most prolific serial killer, she enticed young virgin girls into her castle and slaughtered them in the 16 hundreds.
@blackspiraldancer6 countless bands wrote about her way before cradle of filth showed up decades later. check out "countess bathory" by venom from 1982. or anything by the band that's fucking CALLED "bathory" from the 80's.
@nogoodbastid whats with the hostility? I said AS FAR AS I KNOW. And if you look it up, everybody misspells her name, as the original hungarian spelling is much different.
@nogoodbastid well, you sure know how to be a cocksucking prick for no reason at all, none of my comments were negative in the slightest, you're just being a dick head why?
@nogoodbastid Quorthon was the man! Bathory is my favorite black metal band of all time! He created many different sounds and genres too. there is a "In Memory of Quorthon" album also, he even has a beatles cover! haha It's great!
@blackspiraldancer6 haha you couldn't be more wrong, the first band who wrote a song about Elizabeth Bathory was Venom with the song "Countess Bathory" which was released on their second album in 1982 and after that a band called "Bathory" from Sweden was named after Elizabeth and they made a song in 1987 called "Woman of dark desiress" about Elizabeth.
something about these guys reminds me of slayer, in the lyrics, when he is talking about the moonlight, reminds me of dead skin mask, and another song reminds me of reign in blood

@blackspiraldancer6 sorry. it was just so obviously a naive statement. if you don't know venom or bathory you don't know much about metal at all.

Venom's song has always been a favourite, but comes second to "woman of Dark desire", by, well, Bathory.
Wonder where that name came from...
