  • Wow pretty magic with the mists and all. Thanks for the vid. Although I think the real 'climax' should of been you throwing a few left right combinations on the summit with a bit of the rocky theme song in the back ground :) Maybe even an impromtu sumo comp with your climbing partners thrown in aswell?

  • must've felt like you were in a manga, lol

  • hahaa grandma is always helpful

  • You're not the first one to tackle that mountain, and you won't be the last. It can and has been done, and you will succeed at it too.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I needed that :)

  • congratz on making it to the top of mountain dude! ^^

    5/5

  • Awesome. I went to Bandai last year, but the weather turned and it was like 10 meter visibility.

  • Loooved it. :)

  • Another great video. I really like this series. I LOVE the candies on the tree part!

Looked like a GREAT place to hike. I envy you!

  • I think these travel series are going to sky rocket your channel. Very good vids bro!

  • Thanks a lot for the support man!

I'm looking forward to making the up-coming Tongue Twister series too. ^^

  • Something-mura XD great. I guess our kanji knowledge is pretty much the same :P

Loved the video! great shots, but you were right on vid #3, you should've taken your tripod. :(

The part when the clouds are covering the whole area where you're going, and then the shot of you being surrounded by the clouds while hiking... that's deep man.

Like ' I'm here and I'm going to reach the top, and there's nothing you can do about it, you stupid cloud ¬¬'

Can't wait to climb it myself next year!

  • Yeah...I thought about taking the tripod, but it's not the easiest thing to manage with a bunch of other bags. I'll have to get used to it as I'll be carrying it everywhere next year though.

Beating the mountain really did me a lot of good. No stinkin' cloud's gonna stop me! ^^

Make sure you check out Something-mura next year. ;)

  • Eat you mornin nattō and use ur squat-toilet and ur all set for climbin yamas when ur 80+!

  • Wow....is it worth it? Don't think I can handle the natto... :P

  • awesome vid...again. reminds me of the mountain area's outside of almaty and yeah i always feel like a chump when i am huffing and puffing and a bunch of old babushka's pass me by with ease

  • Is that the kinda spot you were pounding down all the beers with your friends by the river?

    Gotta love the babushkas~

  • yeah we have a lot of really beautiful mountains around here like the one in my kazakhs fly vid...amazing

  • i'm enjoying these.... good work.

  • Thanks!

  • Beautiful. Subscribed :)

  • Appreciate it!

  • did you REALLY see a large group of elders, or were they the mountain spirits taking human form to push you along? I'm gonna try this next time I'm back in Japan. Looks like a blast.

  • Hehe - maybe it was mountain spirits after-all...

Then again, maybe I'm actually a mountain spirit. I did die in an earthquake.

Get out and enjoy the great outdoors!

You can meet awesome Japanese people out there too.

  • Wow kudos on climbing Bandai san on a stormy day! And lol.. I was surprised to see the bag filled with candy too. Maybe it's in case someone gets stuck there and needs food? You took away their food noooo! LOL just kidding.

  • I was actually starved and parched when I ran into that, and that little bit of candy was a real life-saver!

Don't worry - I just took one and left the rest behind. If you ever get to Bandai-san, keep an eye out for gramma's candy. ^^

  • really good series so far(travelling vicariously through you)

looking foreward enough to part 5 to subscribe!

  • Cooney, Hanafubuki, Unrested, Swan...and me?

Proud to be in good company. ^^

    Thanks for watching!

  • man now I know why in the legend of zelda games every landscape is so nice, cus Shigeru Miyamoto grew up in the country side of japan

  • It's really nice out there - hope you have a chance to see it too.

It's awesome to see the life that inspires art!
