  • @katiecat059 just have a good diet and workout using exercises like these with a cardio workout along with it also with very good stretching before and after. You'll notice the difference in just weeks maybe even days. It makes you feel soooo good afterwards(:

    You actually had to add something to this comment. Doing cardiovascular exercises and eating few calories is not enough. In fact, it even depends on what calories you take. If your daily calorie intake is 1200kCal and you start taking 1000kCal, your body will switch to a more saving regime. The most important thing is WHAT you eat and WHEN you eat it!

  • Why do you feel the need to work abs 4 days a week. Once or twice is fine... especially if you use resistance.

  • A lot of people work their abs 4 times or more a week, I do mine every other day. It depends on your body and what you are going for with how many you do. I do what my trainer gets me too and it's fine, keeps your stomach flat and toned.

  • Your stomach will be flat as long as you diet properly. The number of crunches you do has little to do with it. You don't get a gut by NOT doing them.

    The lower & the upper abs r very much 1 muscle, but as we mentioned, we want 2 work the entire muscle in order 2 isolate the abs. Moving through the entire range of motion is the most effective way to work the muscle! Pressing ur back into the floor as u know is called a pelvic tilt. u want to do this 2 protect the back! In physical therapy they really stress this while doing any abdominal exercises.

  • Spot reduction IS a myth. When you want to look toned, do cardiovascular exercises and eat few calories than you take in to lose excess weight. Check our diet tips. The great thing about spot 'toning' is to build that muscle in the area to give you a smooth flat abdominal area that is strong for sports and keeps you healthy! A combination of both resistance exercises and cardio is a great way to have overall health.
