It depends on the model. The unit tested was around $200, but I had to purchase a dongle for HD support.

I have a centro and am thinking about picking up a slingbox. How is the picture quality? Is it very blocky?
Also, are there any downsides worth mentioning?

you do have to pay after the first month of use to access the slingbox... Other than that using my tivo is killer. A little to slow to access the menu options but video quailty is pretty damn good.

Slingplayer works flawlessly in area that have high-speed cellular access. Why pay a monthly subscription to mobiTV, or whatever, when you can have all your TV channels from home for free?
As a note, I gave my CENTRO the same hotsync name as my Palm TX, which allows me to use it on both units with the same license. Though you may have to keep re-entering the registration code each time you switch devices.
