  • Could you just use the same sealing process, by sealing the mylar bag with an iron and putting an oxygen asborber in it, but not put the bag in a bucket, just leave it out of the bucket and store it, or will it go bad too soon? Thanks!

  • @Random101541 the bucket is there to protect the bag from being damaged( broke, split, torn by mice, sharp object ets etc). On runs where i have run out of buckets ,ive dropped the bags in to a large rubber maid tote. They are less mobile that buckets. But it is also bulk food items that are suitable for a "shelter" in place type scenario( coffee, drink mixes, over runs of rice etc)

  • where the hell are you going to get all the water for all this shit? you know water is going to vanish faster than food going tah.

  • ACTUALLY THE VEDIO IS NOT CLEAR AND ALSO SMALL CHILDREN LIKE HOW ARE STUDING 9,8 CLASSES CAN NOT UNDERSTAND. SO, CREAT VEDIO SOME WHAT CLEARLY.

  • Wise up, folks! In this world of huricanes and tsunamis and 2 week long winter storms, a little food and other supplies put back is a no-brainer, so cut the boys a break. it doesn't have to be all about the comet or governmental collaps or the end of the world. If thats your motivation, good on ya and to each their own, but even just a few months put back for your family is a valid reason too, never mind the apocalypse. Thanks, PAW Productions,

  • Where is your link for the Mylar sealer you used? And for that size Mylar bag? Thanks

  • Nice to know thank you

  • @TheBgcheez Thanks for playing and viewing.

  • @TheBgcheez Your Mom know your skipping school? You have obviously spent years thinking through situations and have a whole preparedness plan. So you feel stupid about what you said, I get that. Idiots often talk out of their butts without thinking.

If close friends and family aren't preparing and WILL come to you when something happens, you have to put food back for them. If not your "1 year" supply becomes 1 MONTH when 12 show up.

  • Man, I watched these vids a couple years ago and they got me started on my preps. Now I've got a pretty decent stockpile and you guys were a major inspiration for that. I love to come back and watch these every once in a while. Thanks, guys!

  • I am pretty new to this and love the videos thank you. I don't have the mylar bags, but have the food grade buckets. Can I just put my flour, rice, pasta and sugar in the bucket with the o2 absorbers or do I need the mylar bags? thank you for any help and God Bless

  • Mylar bags, oxygen absorbers AND the much touted gamma lids! Anything else and you're risking finding out in ten years that you're as ass out as someone who didn't prepare at all.

  • great info thx

  • your suppose to use your storage and replace as you go. what's the value if you just shove it in the garage lol

  • @TheBgcheez You don't seem to get it.... Some folks are preparing for more than just a short term AND are preparing for MANY people. Try putting up food for an "extended" period of time for 12 people. Yep, we are NOT talking about a "2 week supply of beanie weenies". Also, use a brain a bit, this material was put aside specifically for checking later. Don't ASSume that everything you see on the video was the entire food stock, that's plain stupid.

  • Can I keep my rice in it's original plastic bag, and put that in the mylar bag with O2 absorbers or is it better to dump the rice out of it's original plastic bag directly into the mylar bag?

  • @CONTALTDELETE i dump it out. I cut out and leave the instructions in the bucket.

  • But can you eat the old rice..

  • @CONTALTDELETE i remove mine from the plastic bags.

  • Where would I buy the mylar bags and oxygen thingy you mention? Thanx

  • the longer you keep rice the better it will taste when you cook it

it also has a nice smell to it when cooked unlike new rice thats white and tasteless

  • So what YOU are telling me is that those dates on cans and long term foods are just like what they think it will last to but can really last 5+ years cuz most can foods i get tell me to get rid of them after a year or two i do cuz i dont mind the few cents i payed but if i can keep them for longer i will PLZ respond anyone who knows Ty and good vid.

  • @jnuty85 "best by dates " are not expiration dates .Can foods(wet packs) normally last 2-7 years depending on can condition and how they are stored.

  • @delta69alpha thx

  • FYI, you can tell when the MRE was packed by the number on the box. In your video, the number was 9207. 9 = the year it was packed (1999). 207 means it was packed on the 207th day of the year.

  • thw what and what obsorbers? Please type it for me? I need to store food now for my family. I sucks so much I have to worry about this at age 16. What is happening to this world

  • What is the advantage of using mylar bags instead of a regular vaccum packing machine and the bags that goes with them? It seems they would be easier to seal and would not require the use of oxygen absorbers. Im considering doing LTS and will probably pack my goods in 5 or 10lb vaccum bags then place the bags in plastic buckets.

  • @pspc271 the vac. machine bags ( clear plastic) are still a porous.Light, smells etc will still get to the food. There is nothing saying you can not use the vac sealer, but your self life will be longer with mylars. FWIW i had a vac sealed 5 lb bag of rice, by year 5 it had turned a nice dingy yellow brown color. It was stored indoors, in a dark pantry.

  • I notice you have things like bisquick in the original p[ackages..if I were to store bisquick or plain flour..would I pour it into mylar THEN seal it? Or put the PACKAGES in the mylar and seal it?

  • I've been buying dried pasta ,some are in cellophane others in card board boxes. If I leave them in their original packaging can I put them in plastic buckets with out mylar and o2 absorbers. I just want them to last a few of years not 15. Do I need to worry about bugs with pasta?

  • Sorry but a few facts you have are just not correct. Mylar was very much available in the late 90's when the rice in the bucket was stored. Also Mylar will not hold that rice any better if it is not competely evacuated of the air. You need a 29.HG to store white rice for that many years. True mylar is rated for a 3 year shelf life in a polyester bag. Foil bags have a longer shelf life and cost 5 times what you are promoting in polyester mylar bags. Buy a top end vacuum packer way better.

  • @33julianc If you think the bags that all the major LTS suppliers sell, use and pack with are the "wrong" kind. Please feel free to contact them. We show and advise no different than them and are well aware of the different "types" of mylar and their use's . You learn that stuff fast trying to dispell all the internet bullshit mantras that the misinformed like to spread ( ei: mylar shelf life degrading into BPA,s cyanide ,use drywall dust as a desiccant....flesh eating one eyed gnomes...).

  • @delta69alpha

PLEASE help, I cant find any good answer to my question anywhere! I am making soup mixes just like the recipes you find online for 'soup in a jar' , using chicken bouillon granules that have a printed shelf life of 12 months once opened. I NEED to know what kind of shelf life i can expect for chick. bouillon granules SEALED in mylar with o2 absorbers and stored in a cool area. Do you have any idea????? Please reply, Thanks so much

  • My family lives in the south. You meantioned about these foods you opened were stored in hot, humid conditions. My question: can I store foods like this in lets say, 103 plus degree heat?

Thank you so much and keep the videos coming.

  • TFS. I am new to food storage and this helps tremendously. I am so blessed to have found this video.

  • I recently found some MREs in a storage cabinet at my office that a former employee had purchased for emergencies. For some reason the dates had been cut off all the boxes, so I did some research and found MREInfo.com online. They helped me identify the meals as roughly 14 years old. I opened a few of them and all the components were inedible - crackers were disgustingly stale, the meat sticks and entrees tasted primarily like plastic, etc. I was surprised they had gone bad like that.

  • Do you eat the foods before the turn a certain date....? It seems like it would be a waste otherwise...

  • are you saying that rice, oats, pasta,... can be stored for 10 years and still be good? if so, i'll start packing food, probably be first one down here in belgium...

  • Very interesting and helpful vid.

  • New bucket lids are indeed airtight, but they have to be factory "new", you place your long term food in the bucket, bang on the NEW NEVER USED LID, making sure the black seal is firmly and evenly seated around the lip of the bucket and don't open it until you use it. Lids that have been used even once are not air tight. when you open the bucket for the first time, you then loose the seal.

  • Have you determined if there is a loss in nutritional value from the oxidation? I know that dog food loses much of it's nutritional value when exposed to O2 for too long. Thanks for the video. I still have a lot too learn.

  • Thanks for the great videos, im planning to store some things away, now that i have good information how.

i was wondering though, what do you do every 15 years or whenever when you need to rotate out the stored food, -all the sudden you have like 3 years of food you need to use up, or does it just store forever?

  • @BodybuildingMike you can leave it or rotate old stock into your diet. It doesnt all have to be on one exact date.

  • So is that rice bad because of it's color?

  • this is great i followed your instructions down to the finest point and even duct taped the lids on the buckets i used 1 x 2000cc absorber in the bottom and 1 in the top im hoping that my rice will hold up im going to do oats next then baloti beans im on a roll will 1 oxy absorber do in a 20 litre mylar + bucket or do you need the 2 ? thanks for everything merry xmas ! god bless

  • I have a question... I stored 5 buckets of white rice a few weeks ago with mylars and o2 absorbers. They are 2000cc. However the bags never seem to get totally absent of oxygen. They still seem to have some air in them but they are air tight and no oxygen leaks when I press down on them. Any ideas why the air is still in them? Is it still safe to store with air in them even though they are air tight?

  • @TIKIMAN198 its nitrogen. Shouldnt be an issue. This seems to happen when you get around that 2k cc mark. Least on mine. The ones i have only 1k-1500cc suck down..the ones i have tossed in extra O2's to use them up seem to stay "puffy". Again, nothing to worry about imho.

  • thanks dave keep up the good work

  • @rlmarin1968 thanks for trolling. Be safe in the future.

  • If you put rice in the bucket and sealed it up will it get bugs?

  • @TIKIMAN198 with out mylars and o2's or being purged you run a higher risk of getting bugs. Watch the indoor series we did that shows what will happen to rice thats indoors with nothing but a lid.

  • Thanks for showing the results of your long term food storage. I see you're open to all sorts of providers. If you're looking for valuable storable food and a way to secure your own financial independence, you'll want to look for "emergencyfoodsecurity" in facebook. Just watch the 3 minute video and see what you think. You can lock down your food costs and pay yourself first!

  • @TheCrackerbob You never heard of Tyrone Powers?

  • @mtefft LOL that's the first thing that came to my mind!!!

  • companies tell you food expire earlier than it really does to protect themselves.

  • @zhaneranger It is not done to protect them, it is done so you will buy more of their stuff.

  • great vids!!!!! where is the best place to buy mre's????? Keep up the great work guys!

  • How long does brown rice last? I am a novice and I recently stored some 6 gallon buckets of brown rice in mylar with O2 absorbers. Now Im reading that brown rice only lasts about a year. Have you stored brown rice, or do you know what I can expect the storage life to be?

  • Thanks for the video upload, I just bought 40 lbs of rice today for my storage supply.

  • I very recently started getting into prepping. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge.

  • I have seen some videos that indicate that you can use hand warmers as oxygen absorbers. They have said that they are the same exact things, just marketed as two different products is this true?

  • @TheCrackerbob tyrone is our trusty helper.

  • @delta69alpha: Is it intended to be a racial slur...indicating that your "assistant" is a black slave? I don't thing that's very funny.

  • @rlmarin1968 Sorry, tyrone is real. In fact i had a good thanksgiving with him ,his two kids and his "white" wife. Sorry that because of your "white guilt" you feel the need to ASSume that because we use a name that sounds "afroamerican" that we are being racisist in some way or fashion! Good thing we dont talk about pablo( who is real as well) much or you'd have a race card coronary on us!!!

  • @rlmarin1968 WTF? This guy is here trying to help you. And you have the audacity to bring some racial card in here. Never ONCE did I think of race! Man, you are living in the past, get a grip. Black or white, move the eff on! You don't hear the Jews bitching every day about mass genocide. It still lingers because people like you keep stoking the fire. Let it die! Good thing my white friend Jerome wasn't in the picture either.

  • No Pepsi Blue?

  • How long will regular bean cans last for in normal conditions?

  • Great set of videos. I have one question:

lets say I pack 25 lbs of white rice using your mylar/o2 absorber method. How long will it last? Decades?

  • @bloodowrm If packed correctly it should last between 10-20+ years. This is also dependant on how you store it. The packing method is not "ours" , it is one used widely in the LTS food industry.

  • Thank you for your video, I live in the south and was wondering how hot your shed got, and for how many months a year was the shed hot. In the south we probably get up to over 90 allot and I'm afraid to store food in the garage or in the barn. thanks

  • @thermax292 avg temps here in summer range from 92-110+F with humidty levels from 50% as the low and 85-95% as the avg.

  • Yeah, you need water 1 gallon per day, per person. Your plan requires that plus the water to boil your rice and beans.

  • @liveinthebozone no one said you didnt need water. My plan requires me to have 2-3 gallons per day to cook, clean, hydrate per person.1 gallon a day wont cut it.

  • Does anyone have any info on good water filters? Thanks for the tip on mylar bags!

  • CANNED FOOD HAS WATER, YOU NEED WATER! ALL THAT SHIT NEEDS WATER TO PREP-AIR!

  • @liveinthebozone OH no!!11!!! no water ughh. Were all gonna die!come on really.

Get a filter, make sure you have a source of h20 prior to an event( lake, stream, pond ,well).

  • @delta69alpha the only problem there is lets say the event that your preparing for is a biological one. You cant count on outside water sources that are filtered. It may sound crazy but I have recently gotten 10 55 gallon drums for water storage, living in the AZ desert I have learned that you need H2O no matter what. I know that over kill for only 2 people but better safe then sorry. Plus we have an in ground 1500 Gallon tank of rain run off as well. Prepare for everything.

  • @adamslurch71 No one is disputing the need for a reliable water SOURCE as well as water storage. 2 weeks supply of water in storage, several means to filters/purify and a SOURCE of water i.e, hand pumped well, generator to power your standard AC well, etc. These are all needed.

  • I have lots of freeze dried meals in storage. My problem is storing water. I live in a microscopic house.

  • @B4realalready Make sure you have redundant ways to treat/filter it. A good filter along with chemical treatments. d69a

  • lol i never knew you could dry out potatoes.

  • Oxygen absorbers are simply packets of iron filings and salt, the same as hand warmers so you can use them or make your own. Oxygen is transfered to iron filings in process of oxygenisation = result iron oxide.

  • canned food seems to be best option

  • @mara0facoma wet packed can goods cost twice as much and doesnt have the shelf life that correctly packed LTS food items do ( #10's or buckets).

  • Can you use large plastic containers, like the ones they sell at IKEA, for storage of the mylar bags? I don't know if it is "food grade", but I guess it is not poisonus

  • another question, can i do this type of food storage to seeds so i can grow a garden each year. i would do it on a smaller scale with just enough to grow a garden. if things go bad we might not be able to get down to the feed and seed store to buy seed. it would also cost more by then.

  • is that oxidized rice still edible?

  • @TampAnonymous yip ate some of it later that day.

  • those chicken strips in salsa is sooooo tasty...

  • so can you still eat the oxidized food?

  • @lulu2dani yes you can.

  • where do I get mylar bags?

  • @OneFabFisher we have ordered ours through wendy maes simpler living and sorbent systems.

  • Nice tune at the start! Red Dawn. What a film :)

    Good video.

  • Even though it's yellow I'm sure the rice is more than good. Hell 17 years of food storage is mighty impressive. Do you know of any method to seal the buckets themselves airtight?

  • @jayluketa The buckets no matter what will not be airtight. That is why you must use mylar bags and O2 absorbers in conjunction with the buckets.

  • @delta69alpha Gotcha, thanks :-)

  • What mil mylar bags are you using. Just starting and haven't decided between 4.3 mil or 7 mil bags, Thanks

  • @500rancher I have used both. 7 mils are harder to seal but are sturdier for sure.

  • @Glen1040 If your using mylar bags you should be good to go. As long as the buckets didnt have acid, zombie virus etc. You'll be ok. You want to use the cleanest buckets or ones you know were used for food. IE pickle buckets etc.

  • its not the fact that mre's grow mold or what not they lose there nutritional value if you ate nothing but old mre's for a year you would have malunutrtion

  • Very, very interesting...

  • Good stuff, thanks for these vids. Keep preppin'

  • you can still eat it tho right?

  • this is a great vid!!! Very informative

i just feel sorry for Tyrone...LOL...j/k

  • This is sad to say, but when shit hits the fan, many of our friends and family are going to die, because the think "it's America nothing is going to happen"

Ps. Great vids by the way.

  • who cares if your rice turns yellow? whatdifference what color it is as long as you can eat it?

  • @gearboy12550 If your rice is yellow when it should be white, there is a good chance it has also lost some nutritional content value as well. In addition, the taste. Why would you not capitalize on the knowledge we have now by investing in a 2 dollar bag and 10cent absorber? Seems you and 9 other people don't critically think.

  • @gearboy12550 Have you ever tried eating that stuff. In times of emergency you are stressed out enough with out having to eat foods you would other wise barf on! The yellow rice tastes really bad!

  • Great information, can you tell me what is the purpose of the Bay leaves?

  • Some feel that it keeps bugs out of your grains. It however does not.

  • how are bugs getting in these buckets? I'm just getting started and appreciate your videos. Thanks!

  • how long will the Bisquick keep do you know?? if done properly? yours was 10+ yrs. which is great.. thanx..again!

  • Great video. Seeing is believing. One question though, what do you call hot?

  • @TexasWatch223 This food was stored in Florida and Georgia. Nothing at all to get 110+ in the summers and freezing in the winters.

  • I would love to see you cook this stuff and see how it taste. Just wondering if it would really be okay to eat. Also, wondering if the baking mix would rise.

  • @vintagegirl68 This video was done about 18 months ago. Most of the food was eaten within a week of the video being produced. The rice took a little longer to rotate. Why would it not be o.k. to eat? "Dave in Idaho"

  • How would wheat berries last? should i put them in a dehydrator b4 i vaccum pak them?

  • Is the oxidised food still edible? Is there any nutritional value lost? If the SHTF I could care less about taste or texture.

  • Yes you are still able to eat it with out issues.

  • RH -- Thanks for your videos -- they are great. I was encouraged to hear you say that you store your food in "hot temperatures." We're running out of room inside and need to start storing in our garage. In summer, it may get to be 80's or so in the garage. In winter, probably in the 40's (we're in Western Oregon). Do you feel these are temperatures we don't have to worry about? What about wet-packed, canned foods? Can they stand these sorts of temperatures as well? Thanks so much. Jill

  • @PlanetJill Obviously the garage isn't the BEST place but if it's store some there or don't store at all, then use the garage. I haven't purchased wet packed canned foods for long term storage since the early 90's. Have had to throw out hundreds of dollars worth. Dehydrated is cheaper, lasts longer.

  • You can't argue with a man who has real experience. Excellent video.

  • Very cool stuff! I've self-packed some buckets (none in a while) but I like to stick to freeze dried in #10 cans for simplicity and storage life. I am looking to buy more FD meats, but they are exceedingly expensive. I tried Ready Res. Foods and was unimpressed...ESPECIALLY with the Yukon Biscuits! Those tasted so bad I just ate a few and threw them out. I still have a few of their items but gave some of it to a local church's food bank.

  • The "9207" on the MRE case tells you when the MRE's were packed. The "9" indicates it was packed in 1999 (or could be 2009, if new!). The 207 indicates they were packed on the 207th day of the year (I think that would be July 26th).

  • P.S. All the individual components of a MRE have the same date coding printed on the packaging (on the cardboard container and on the pouch).

  • Well you just made me smile. I now can assure my better half that thousands of dollars of stores don't have to be tossed out due to age. A large amount of my stores are from 1998 to 1999. I used different ways, cash & availability, to store my food from mylar bags, O2 absorbers, to nitrogen. I started rotating this year [10yrs later] and I only noticed a little discoloring. Thanks for the video as I now have visual proof what I've been saying all along... $ saved!!!

  • Awesome, glad to hear it! Start rotating that food and use the money saved to buy new :)

  • Great video. This helped me alot storing all kinds of food. 5/5

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

  • Comment removed

  • Awesome, congrats.

  • RC- Some folks store food for extended family and sometimes even friends. Just for an example- let's say Bill is storing food for 12 people in his extended family for years. 8 of these 12 are not survivalists and would not eat this food on a regular basis. How much longer would it take the 4 to "rotate" this food? Exactly. If "Bill" didn't do this, then WHEN those 12 showed up at his door his 1 year supply for his family of four becomes a 3 MONTH supply for the whole crowd. Make sense now?

  • I told both my sisters they need to store some food but I doubt they will. I would like to store enough food for 7 years for 3 people right now and it's overwhelming. There's no possible way I can take on the responsibiliby of storing for 3 people plus my 2 sisters and their 6 children. So I told them before-hand to store, but they think I'm just a doom-n-gloomer.

If things get bad, I'll have to choose between my Mom or my sisters dying because they won't listen.

  • @7777Ralph buddy alot of us are going through that but you have to realize that people have been saying the sky is falling for 20 years now no wonder they think we are crazy stay safe

  • @7777Ralph Yeah, I"m tired of hearing about being pessimistic and doom/gloom. I'm very happy. I'm just aware, and I don't stress out over this. There is a difference between being proactive and just sitting in fear. I will state that I do feel some slight angst to get everything done in the next short while as I do not feel this economy is going to make it out of next year. The good thing is that we have this next quantitative easing of 600 billion, so that tells me it's not next month or so.

  • @7777Ralph I understand and I also will pose this question to you. Will you feel comfortable watching your family starve because others wouldn't listen when you opened the door for them and they didn't enter to save themselves? Hard Question! Easy Answer.

  • @7777Ralph We are all faced with that. The Japan disaster is one to learn from. All are freely giving in the schools to make big pots of food for everyone. Learn from some better folks than we have here in the USA. PS I am not Japanese just respect their way of handling this crisis so far.

  • Comment removed

  • Some folks store more than just a bucket or two. When you get into serious quantities "rotation" isn't as easy as "hey honey grab those two cans of beanie weenies in the pantry." This is why "rotation" rarely works the way it's designed to and then only in small quantities with people that have never forgotten someone's birthday, paid a bill late or shown up late for something. More in next comment-

  • @SurvivalReport

Ya. Seems like rotation would only work if the people you are storing the food for help to eat the older food, but since they aren't paying for it and don't see the need to store food, they're not going to want to help either rotate or finance it.

Yet when things go bad, they'll be on your doorstep crying because they're kids are gonna die unless you help them.

  • Great video series. Thanks for all the helpful advice on all aspects of survival and the comprehensive delivery. Great alternative to all the hype and commercialism. :)

  • what is the right conditions for storing food "room temp and humidity"

  • There is no set "temp/humidity" issues if your food is packed correctly in mylar bags and o2 absorbers.

    D69A

  • what would happen if you ate that yellow rice?

  • nothing, at all.

  • It would get digested and then you would poop it out after a while...... If you mean is it safe to eat, of course it is. My family has eaten several hundred lbs. of oxidized rice.

  • This is awesome!

  • I hope you ate all the food you were showing us. I'd hate to think it went to waste;O)

  • #1. No food was wasted, we made that abundantly clear in earlier comments.

    2. Just because buckets were open doesn't mean they "had" to be used up right then. Common fallacy in thinking there. Once you open a bucket the contents don't just disappear into thin air.

    3. The PAW crew took home all of the canned items that were opened. I ate the MRE's that we opened :)

No point in storing food if you are going to "waste" it is their?

  • Wouldnt it be better to store the grain products in air tight glass containers. Plastice has pores so it seems like you go through a lot of trouble to preserve it. Glass doesnt have the pores problem.

  • Mylar bags.......this movie is about results not how to pack, We covered packing in the 4 part series on our main channel.

  • Glass jars also do not have a LIGHT barrier. Putting up a real quantity of food in glass jars gets VERY expensive and is prone to easy breakage. Watch the packing videos, you don't just use buckets.

  • The food stored in the plastic buckets from the early 90's is it still edible? Also what types of foods are the easiest to store?

  • Yes, it is still edible. Some basic foods would be- rice, beans, pasta, salt, sugar.

  • thanks delta. i trust your truthfull video. this is info that one can't find anywhere else. love and peace mik

  • Oxygen absorbers? Mylo liners? what are they? Where can i get them from? Someone please explain. And what about water. Thanks

  • Watch the Long Term food storage videos on this channel. It will show and explain the whole process.

  • i know nothing about storing food yet, but i was wondering about storing foods with vitamin c in it, like fruits and such. ive always heard if you dont get enough vitamin c you will get scurvy. any thoughts? or can you store milti vitamins too?...lol

  • WOLVERINES!!

Judging by the actions of the government, storing Ammo might not be a bad idea either, if you can find it at all...

  • Fantastic. Thank you.

  • Interesting video--I found your results fascinating.

After viewing this, it seems like an organized rotation of product, to keep it fresh and current, would be prudent.

Best wishes to you and yours.

  • Growing up in a mormon family I can say Storing food longterm is an artform in itself. We ate 15 year old honey and grain all the time. Honey gets sugary and it's fine if you heat it for a bit. Great video, Thanks for the sacrifice of your reserves.

  • You can reliquify honey by heating it in a pan of hot water. We put a small plate upside down in a pot of water, then put the honey container on top of that. As it changes back to liquid, pour it off to another container. We did this recently with honey from 91.

Thanks for watching- "Dave in Idaho"

  • cool, thanks

  • great vid. what a great answer to a comment from me of one of your last vids. it puts me in a new prospective in my own food storage of dry goods. very good vid. im subscribing

  • Can I come to your house for some food?

  • Excellent info. Thanks for the videos.

  • i replied in a polite manor, i could have just edited your reply, blocked you, sent you on your way. We at PAW do not subscribe to that form of "censorship" here on our channel. We feel everyone has a right to speak their minds and are open minded about what they have to say, even when rude or negative . I expect those replying to do the same in return when we reply back!

    Bob

  • This from the fellow with the comment a couple down saying that if you eat food like this you would become "mentally unstable, go blind and die a slow death" in a "FEW DAYS." I would say that TACT is not one of the thing you seem to know my friend! Perhaps you should research and actually test your theories before making unfounded and incredibly ridiculous statements like you did.

  • I suppose if that is all you did was eat rice. But rice supplemented with #10's of dried foods, veggies, fruits and freeze dried, along with fresh farmed veggies, harvest game or raised animals, is far from "malnutrition". For some i am sure that with out di-gornos and burger king they will have diet issues from eating the same thing over and over and over.

    Thanks for viewing.

  • Sculptor- my family has been eating storage food and what we can grow and raise on our homestead for years. How do you figure storage food is any different than normal food? Or do you think people will die or go into depression without PoopDonalds and Crack in the box?

  • Thank you
