The direct interaction on the 2D plan for navigating in a 3D world looks very user-friendly. Just point to walk. Imagine non-gamers walking through this building with a gamepad.
Not even any 3D tilt or Z axis? I was imagining pulling up material selections, changing time of day for different light effects, and this was only barely better than a mouse.
What is this model running in? Some kind of game engine? This is very cool.
