Hey guys is it just the ones in my tower or do all GEN2s feel really bouncy? Like when you step in the elevator moves upwards of an inch down. And you can hear a really loud whirring noise if too many people go in and it needs to relevel?

Also, there are some cases where the elevator just sits there with the doors closed for 15 seconds or so before moving. Tends to happen only when it hasnt had a chance to relevel...

That is because that is the standard OTIS Elevator voice. All OTIS elevators with voice has this voice by standard.

This is a green elevator. So most building owners opt for greener elevator for a better advangtage for low to mid rise

Because it is a traction elevator that was installed recently, that serves a mid-rise building - since Otis is phasing out the 2000T in addition to the fact that this is too slow to be an Elevonic 401.
