@alleywatson Saabs dont tend to be accurate on their power ratings, its said that the Aeros are kicking out more like 280bhp then their claimed 250-260, but its also the gearing and the impressive torque curve that gives them a lot of clout. Their 0-60 times are not that brilliant due to them being front wheel drive and not exactly light, but once they are rolling...
And yeah his Jag is a bit of a monster, bit annoying that he wont let me borrow it though :-/

Owh, and did i mention that a standard 9-5 aero has 300hp and is also tuneable with 6 stages???
A standard 9-5 Aero doesn't have 300 horses... It has 230hp up until -03 or -04 when it got 250hp and later it got another bump up to 260hp. No stock Saab 9-5 Aero has 300hp, the one Saab that has 305hp is the Saab 9-5 Aero *HIRSCH* that is an Aero that's been tuned by Hirsch in Austria. So, there is a differance between a Aero and a Hirsch..

British cops rarely use the P.I.T. as a lot of British roads are narrow or too busy. British cops won't put lives of the public at risk by performing a P.I.T on a crowded or narrow road.

the pit maneuver sucks!! you cant do it over 35mph, has a HUGE risk of hitting padestrians, 3 persuers must be present and its very dangerous for vehicles with a high center of gravity(flip over)

the problem is that collateral damage matters in england unlike the states. british police have lots several prodedures to stop cars, have a look at them online. normally they dont ram them off the road though

I think you fail to notice the whole point I'm saying. I don't get why the British police are so proud producing videos of them chasing car thieves etc when they do jack all to stop them. Only 3 outcomes I notice usually, 1. just chasing till the old bangers give way 2. they crash into civilian property, 3. the offenders get away. Quite many road wars videos show the offenders get away, which I find hilarious.

I BEG TO DIFFER, tell me were u live, american cops would do the same, but no they do try to stop them, they place stop sticks on the road (spikes) call the police chopper,box them using a number of police cars, or pit them very rarely. however if the ca is racing through residential streets, how can they do any of these, it will cause great danger to members of the public. Now u r saying they can do so much to stop them, pls go ahed and mention them...

Are you mad or just plain thick, You can't look at one video and think oh they don't know what there doing. Actually they are extremely good at it. many other videos have shown this. There not like american cops they actually think of public safety first and won't perform the PIT unless its absolutely safe to so so.

Lol look who's being thick. Stop letting national pride getting in the way of being objective. British police let so many criminals get away. It's okay.. Keep telling yourself otherwise. Watch the video where the British police chase this guy in a stolen car, and he goes over roundabouts, colliding into other vehicles and all. Yes, zero-attempts to stop the vehicle but just continuously chasing them while they hit more and more cars is safe

Hey Fonatic - Police procedures in any country are a result of legistlation and laws and practice that suit that particular country. Police tactics in one country are not suited to the next. There is no right answer and no wrong answer. If you feel you know better - join up and try and make a difference. Then you will earn the right to know what you are talking about.
