Wasn't a merlin, it's a MK19 powered by a griffon, larger & more powerful than the merlin but they dont sing like a merlin.

I feel privileged to have seen one of the very few Spitfires and Lancasters left in this world in real life.

its a shame that nobody has invested in restoring a lancaster so its fully airworthy!
also if you're interested in the BBMF its worth going to raf coningsby's BBFM museum, you can get feet away from the aircraft they have in there!, ive been its 5/5

@stormcruiser2 A bit behind the times mate ! Google Avro Lancaster PA474 and Avro Lancaster KB276. PA474 has been flying since the late sixties.
