I love this aria with his voice, he have a voice similar to legends on the Lensky rol, like Lemeshev or Kozlovsky, without comparation.

but singing heavier stuff darkens the voice considerably. Very difficult to sing lyric repertoire properly afterwards. I heard that's why Florez shied away from Bellini...

I think he is amazing. I have almost admired his work ever since I saw him in Magic Flute at the Met. Such a shame he moved onto the wagnerian rep!
