  • I really like this video! haha

  • sorry, but do you have a message that is not in rissian?

  • Very clear and helpful video. Thanks!

  • add the speech its better to understand

  • This Message serves to prove how our minds are unable to concentrate on learning for exams. Fuck 17.

  • OK folks, here's a switcheroo. I have had a reading problem all of my life (I'm 62 years old); a cognitive delay, if you will. This translates into slow learning, etc. As 07aturton, I am also dyslexic. Yet I was able to read the scrambled chicken scratch posted by IONMAXIM almost flawlessly. Weird, huh?

Perhaps not, though. When I do the word Jumbles and Scrabble puzzles in the daily newspaper, more often than not I can solve them within a few seconds if not instantly upon looking at the word.

Impressive things! in the beginning it was hard but now, on this line your mind is reading it automatically without even thinking about it,

Be proud! Only certain people can read this. Re post if you can read this."

    Oh god, I can read 1337. Heeeelp!!! O_o;

  • you know the more you read the better your neurons in the brain are more active and produce more chemical transmission for better electrical impulses leads to better functioning of the brain.

cool, on this line your mind is reading 17 automatically without even thinking about 17, this message serves to prove how our minds can do amazing things!

  • just goes to show that emotion is deeper in the person as well as in the brain.

similar in physioligy as in behavior

  • some music to this might be nice

  • is a brain a muslce or does it even have muscles? like contracting and expanding? or is this a myth that i have accepted?

is it just a tissue that transmits neurons and signals?

  • @TheRogueMonk the brain is made of neurons, not muscles, so it doesn't actually "grow." However, many new connections are made, especially at birth, so you thought processes are intricate and efficient.

  • @TheRogueMonk Your brain is made up of nervous tissue, which is distinct from muscle tissue (as well as two more types - epithelial tissue and connective tissue - basically, everything in your body originates from one of these 4 types). However, nervous tissue has the ability to adapt and develop new connections between cells that other types do not, it's this constant development, mingling, and pruning of branches that forms what we call 'memory'.

  • how funny, your mind can really do amazing things! so i can read it!

  • @controversy0900 it's honestly not that amazing. you don't even need to read the whole word. after like the first two or three letters + by the context you can interpret what the word is. Its not like your brain is translating each number into the letter it needs to represent.

  • @IONMAXIM But dude i am pretty sure many of them were able to read this one! Because we have similar brains the thing is the how we use it!!

  • @IONMAXIM WH47 D035 17 54Y?

  • @qaztinalina the 17 is it :P

  • @IONMAXIM Thank u this is brain excercise:) first I was like whats this about then I looked closelly and understood and read it.

  • @IONMAXIM

Yeah, I can read this even without thinking about it. Quite impressive considering english is foreign language to me.

  • @IONMAXIM

It took me 3 minutes to figure it out.

  • @IONMAXIM you have awful grammar

  • @hoboterror Dear idiot,

The message is supposed to have bad grammar and spelling.

  • @bigvinnie97 but look at the words he used

  • @IONMAXIM Stop with the leetspeak, especially in this stupid chain post.

  • @IONMAXIM everybody can read it

  • @wwechamp7 not the blind...

  • @mrsaladinthewise i am blind and i can read it

  • @wwechamp7 how do you define "blind" ?

  • @mrsaladinthewise without vision

  • @IONMAXIM Even animals can read that ignoramus.

  • my frontal lobe works that best

  • amazing someone used time and money making that video...

  • im doing a project on the brain can someone help me???

  • @AlyssalovesBenji Just do research about it

  • I still doubt that brain mapping, ... is really through the research convincing? or just a speculative hypothesis analysis .. with what the research that the brain functions according to the mapping that ...

  • nice

  • wait if memory isnt stored in a single place, does that me we have souls? ftw!!!!

  • @ThePlatoon4

Memories from all experiences are stored in the soul--but the kinds of experiences and the function of the soul is something that is out of mainstream knowledge. In fact, the word memory and experience are used in a way that confuses the true meaning.

So, in short, you are correct.

  • ♫ For Intelligent Music w/ Passion, Please Search "Ross Bane - The Intellect" ♫

  • something interesting to know since all of the world you sense is experience as electrical signals inside the brain this means that when you look at yourself, you are experiencing yourself inside your head hence you are experience yourself as you experience yourself inside your... inside your head. very confusing but interesting.

  • Oh goodie ! A color-coded brain !

  • and where is memory?

  • I think , We don't need the memory any more. We have an I pad and I phone.

  • @gurjasj haha! thats exactly what i do. i use iphone notes, calender, and to do list app "Toodledo".

but i do wish my memory worked on its own. cant remember anything. its so anoying!

  • @TheLastBlueApple I might be wrong, but I think memory is more "inside" the brain.... you can't see it on the surface, only if you cut the brain open, its closer to the center of the brain

  • @davidzxx The hippocampus transfers short memory into long term memory, however memories are scattered al through out the brain.

  • 1:49 in the middle that looks like a cow king siting on he brian

  • I can use telepathy, I am interesting to take part in research on it. I can do brain to brain talk all the time and I can transmit voice and video 100% correct on distance up to few kilometer. I really think it would be important to find out how telepathy works

  • weird to see that you also have this

  • cool video, but no sound.... wtf!!!

  • This video is OK ,but it's just rough morphology...at my college we need a lot more!

  • for some reason I was unable to hear the sound in this video, where am i going wrong, can someone help me out please.

  • @raviranganath There's no sound.

  • A must watch video for any student trying to study neuro.

  • I prefer Look Around You.

  • very nice video, with the help of this video layman will also be able to know about brain!!

  • This is a good video and very informational, but I think you could have had a person reading off the names for us, or maybe include some nice background music. Adding any one of these things might make the video a little better. Im just trying to give some helpful info. ;) But overall, gr8 vid!!! :D

  • Where is the sound? Interesting but . . .

  • test

  • Thank you for sharing this informative video. I have added it as inspiration to a new multi-book-format:

    iGOLD DUST, Chapter 1

  • I looked up 10 second IQ test( fucked it up) and Ive made my way here somehow.

  • @berkev8795 then you should flip a coin before you check it.

  • i feel nerdy after watching this.

  • Cool.

  • Language comprehension and fine motor skills are supposed to be on the left hemisphere of the brain, 1:33 shows language comprehension to be on the right hemisphere- which is more activated for music listening/making.

  • Am I wrong or do the occipital lobes here look a lot bigger than they actually are>?

  • Braaaaaaaaaiiiiiiinssssss I Want Juicy Braaaaaainnnnssss O_O

  • Urgh this is so hard to remember. I took psychology not biology :/

  • People who are interested in neuropsychology should check out 'the fifth revolution' from Lone Frank. Nice book!

  • zombie food

  • eeh does anybody realize that we ARE the brain? the body and all its features is just something we control :D

  • Oh come on! Pons, medulla, hippocampus, cerebral cortex, amygdala, etc. etc. INCLUDE THEM!

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah I don't see 90% of that not being used. I hate it when people say that.

  • @joe59788 This is a model of the brain of that guy in the movie where he takes the drug that let's him use all of his brain instead of just a fraction. Spoiler Alert! It was a placebo and the power was within him the whole time.

  • @wilfredthebold Spoiler alert nature doesn't allow you to instantly become a genius by force of will alone and if that's the premise of the movie it's not a very good one. Also the saying didn't originate with that movie.

  • @joe59788

It was a joke, dude. Chill.

  • @wilfredthebold hahahah really?

  • 49 people don't have brains :D

  • Por favor editem noutros idiomas, em especial em português...fiz uma neurocirurgia em 2003... num ponto do lobo temporal esquerdo... quero entender mais... porque não consigo me concentrar... em leituras.... será que tem alguma coisa a ver? Obrigada

  • be nice to have some sort of music in the background, even if its just a simple instrumental....my brain wanders without music to hold my attention D:

  • I am telepathic, is it any good information on how it works and how can I protect me of stalkers?

  • i never knew the brain had so many colors

  • Quero ser cobáia! :D

Mas não demorem, antes que eu esqueça que disse isso!

  • It would have been nice to include the numbered Brodmann areas and also name certain special areas like Broca's, Wernicke's as well as Geswind's territory. Also, naming the Cingulate gyrus and Corpus callosum wouldn't hurt either.

  • @Haseeb2 naming the insides(like the pituitary gland) would be nice as well :)

  • @Haseeb2 Sometimes...

  • @Haseeb2 oh right the cingulate gyrus and the corpus callosum right right

  • so that's what's going on up there.

  • Are our brains colored like that??

    ^_0

    :-p

  • @yasuodances :)))))loool

  • holy fuck this is amazing! any other psych majors out there???

  • @jamesmccurdy no bro, we live in the real world 8))

  • @jamesmccurdy Hiiiii haha

  • Where's the audio?

  • Some dialogue would make this more affective.

  • The brain in bitchin!

  • Good to learn more about this issue

  • I have it!

  • all you can eat buffey for zombies

  • please!!!! *hides back of head* I LOVE MY VISION!

  • 0:48 almost looks like a penis

  • @crystalidx Hmm. I enjoy your comment. I ponder on it. Thank You

  • surprisingly, the brain might not be as complex as I had previously thought...

  • Comment removed

  • @molongjoe94

    Neuroscience, not complex?

  • @ArtoKorpi i was jokin ya goof

  • @molongjoe94 your seing the brain as a whole and just going by labels, the brain is much more complex than anything every made by man. if you take each individual piece of the brain and study its functions and its abilities you'll see that it is simply amazing that something that small can make you do anything you and every living thing has ever done.

  • What about memory, and cognitive functions? Isn't that the temporal lobe?

  • @ChaosBorne082783 no thats the frontal lobes, temporal is hearing

  • this made my brain hurt

  • 0:00 for adds

  • Im 20% heluim

  • more!!!! one with the limbic system!!!

  • where is night vision ?

  • where is Dr. Lecter ?

  • ill get specialized next term ,, so these kind of vid.s may work with me

    thanks alot

  • i wonder i fyou can change the brain and have the same result as AKIRA :P

  • How is my brain when im stoned

  • I like the color and the chart of explaining what each part is.

What defeats the purpose of the above, is that it flashes so quickly, that I don't have the time to study/memorize and even read all the parts. It should stop for a few more seconds to make it more efficient. Otherwise, it is very good.

  • @CatsEyes1717 Just pause it.

  • @CatsEyes1717 Click on the video to hold and click again to proceed.

  • @soulhealer20 Thanks.

  • nueroanatomy would be easier if the brain actually had nice distinct colors like in this video

  • ive got on to.

  • your brain is like a boxing Glub

  • Braaaains...
