  • Awesome!

  • peace now :)

  • @GaryPansey Out of respect for Mr. Chen. This might not be the most appropriate place for your post.

  • Dude im in china right now. They do this for health. This was a fighting style around 200 years ago. Atlease that what my master told me.

  • This is a great Chen's Tai Chi. I have been looking for his video for a while now.

陳正雷 is a great Tai Chi master for a long time.

  • funfront-nice music(very relax...) what's the name of this music and who the musician?thanks.

  • scalier your crazy, you should think before you speak.

  • Chenjiagou does exist. I as well as many others have been there. Your rant does not negate a geological location

  • r u screwed? Tell me what else u know, i wanna see what other crap u made up

  • why does the video cut out some of the form?

  • Don't think that "martial arts" were invented in China... There is evidence of technique-based wrestling and armed combat even in 26th century BC in the Mediterranean countries. But yes, what you say about Asian systems is true. They were first taught to protect important people who traveled the Silk Road.

  • Martial arts were around since human beings feared death and started protecting their lives. Origination of martial arts is not important. It existed only because human beings wanted protection.

  • WOW!!!

  • Tai Chi obtained its fame because it was the best kicking ass martial art back in those days. How many Tai chi masters these days can actually fight and win over those UFC fighters? None

  • How many Tai Chi masters would like to fight anyone? None

  • @elninohaginho Did you meet all the Tai Chi masters? What did you ask them? Hey, would you like to fight anyone? Are you sure you got all of them? How many are there?.......Oh, wait. Maybe you are just making stuff up. No, that wouldn't make any sense. Why would you do that?

  • @rosenwolf You think none. Sometimes people believe in things that don't actually exist. Being crazy isn't always a bad thing, but when our false sense of reality meets actuality, we might end up in a difficult situation and have to make sense of our own insanity. We should all be a little more careful with our imaginations. Believing in things that aren't real seem to be the underlying cause of many of the worlds problems.

  • @rosenwolf

Dunno. But I reckon that unless you know every - single Tai Chi master in the universe and every single UFC fighter, you will never really know. It's only speculation imo.

  • slow movement trained the mind and flow of chi with mental intent like cooking using all ingredients , focus muscle and breath inwardly(softness-health) exhale skin and bone (hardness-combat)

  • Very nice posture and good fluidity! I would love to see how Master Chen performs the original old style Chen form for I found too many unnecessary movements have been added to the routine, destroying the essence of the Chen style Taiji. Theres old Chinese proverb: drawing a snake with legs!

  • Maître, vous m'inspirez à la nature, je rêverais à la feuille et au sabre dans ma danse au temps, gestuelle...MERCI

  • Chen zheng lei, I feel more and good health, chen xiao wang pay more attention to fighting

  • I can see only chen style from him, I think maybe he should learn from other kungfu at least other Taiji style and mix them.

  • it is actually very dificult to mix two styles... besides, Tai Chi and Kunk Fu are the first two martial arts in history, Kung Fu as the father of all martial arts and Tai Chi as the mother... thats how i see it

  • it is difficult to mix two styles of Taiji, but he is the master he can take the best of te other styles and develop the chen style. actually all the styles are closely related even other martial arts.

  • yes but Tai Chi and Kung Fu started all of the others... as the first martial arts, they based all others

  • Kung Fu is actually a term used for all forms of Chinese Martial Arts (CMA), and Taiji is one form of CMA just like Bagua, Shaolin, Xinyi and so on.

  • It always puzzles me why people like using the term Kung Fu in a wrong way. And no matter what you meant by "tai chi" or "Kung Fu", they were no the first two.

  • @daojund There are at least 8 major things wrong with this thought. But it brings up an important point. We should all ask ourselves, "what is wrong with this kind of thinking." If you can't find the answers on your own, go find a teacher to help you. This is one of the reasons why it is important to keep some of the old traditions alive. In a few generations the mma and other modern stylist will catch up, but if we learn now we could save a lot of time, energy and trouble.

  • Now that is movement acquired by understanding the solid basic principles within Tai Chi... I wish I could train with and against more soft style fighters.

  • i would be his to-dai (student)

  • How? Are you going to China to learn under him? I am very interested to do that too.

  • well, i'd like, but right now i have other things in my mind, if you know what i mean

  • Best Comment Ever.

  • why?

  • Never undersestimate the power and grace of taichi.

  • Chen Zhenglei is my great-grandmaster ^_^ I'm not even 1% as good as he is, hope this video will help me.

  • Good example of Chen style. Excellent form showing both the soft flowing elements combined with the power and crisp movements. This is what separates Chen from Young style - the combination of soft and hard

  • I thought all Tai-Chi consist of hard and soft.

  • Great example of the Chen style! Thanks.

  • Not taiji? You are showing your ignorance. This is a great example of Chen style, which features circular movements and quick bursts of power. This is the original taiji that all the other styles... Yang, wu, sun, etc. evolved from. When Master Yang derived his style, which is now the most popular in the world, people criticized him because what HE was doing was "not taiji."

  • youre wrong. taijiquan was first. then the family style variants came.

  • The people who still live in Chen village in China, not far from the Shaolin Temple, would disagree with you.

  • how the hell is he a fake, explian

  • ..dont pay attention to him.

U see, he (or maybe she) can´t answer ;-)

I am a German diciple of Chen Zheng Lei.

    Great video!!!

  • prove it!!!!!!

  • fake?!?!?!?!!?!?!!?! prove it!!!!

  • The Chen style people always seem to look more athletic than other Tai Chi style people.

  • yes, indeed, here he really looks different from other demos I know! does anybody know from which Year this is recorded.

  • Fantastic Jing Beautiful...

  • Yes, that´s awesome. I was 3 years in China and practiced under him. He and his family are very nice. And his Taijiquan....incredible.

  • Very impressive!

  • Chen Zheng Lei is awesome.

  • 150,000 more repetitions(once i learn the cannon fist form) and I will look like that too!

  • It's nice to see Grandmaster Chen showing a little more than the basic smooth beginner forms he has on his teaching videos.

  • Wow, quite a bit different from his previous tape!

  • Yeah. He seems doing better in this clip.
