All I heard over and over again from Rachel was "FOX NEWS". She kindly listed Fox's on air hosts, their show titles and time slots. She even scrolled their names atr the end of her commentary. All this sparked by Keith's lack of integrity. "MSNBC" (yes Rachel, that is your employer) should have a policy regarding this as well. I thought you were above this Rachel. This report was a disappointment.
Comcast may be a shitty company, but I guarantee when they take over NBC that this bitch gets thrown on the street. I hope they take that fuck tard Olberman out at the same time.
This has nothing to do with fox news at all it is the policy of keith's contract with NBC which uses its contract to pretend they are not biased and overbite broke nbc's rules
@Lifeplay Great arguments? Fox hires people who are successful before joining the network, (these people host debate and topical discussion shows, not news) thus these personalities can dictate the terms of their contracts. MSNBC hires people from failed radio networks, and dudes who ran out of silly 'big play' metaphors on a cable sports network. Olbermann knowingly violated the terms of his employment, and Maddow retorts with a whiny screed about Fox. It's fail/ fail. On a failing network.
@theorioleguy Fox hires Republican candidates to host their shows. XD Nice editing btw, afraid a few little facts are going to get in the way of your "worldview"?
@Lifeplay what great argument? keith violated his company's policy by not gettting permission to make contributions. THAT IS ISSUE not fox news.. fox news and msnbc are not part of the same company for all she know the fox policy is the same and hannity got permission from his boss to contribute. keith did not get permission and was therefore suspended according to their company policy..WHAT DOES FOX HAVE TO DO WITH MSNBC'S POLICY? this argument if you can call it that is totally idiotic.
Without having discussed the issue with miss Maddow, my interpretation is that she was trying to make a point in the recent debate over the equation between MSNBC and Fox as opposing but equally crazy networks: while Fox has no problems with "journalists" being political fundraisers, it is now evident that MSNBC does. She was not blaming Fox for Olbermann's suspension, as she plainly said; the rules are there and should apply to everyone.
@tubaboy71 Sorry, should apply to everyone employed by NBC ofcourse. The point is she did not object to the suspension itself since Olbermann did indeed violate the rules. And unlike in theorioleguy's parallell universe, she did not blame it on Fox or anyone else. Guess that's why he needed to edit the clip to fit better to the headline.
@tubaboy71 Like I said in my original post: I think she wanterd to show Olbermanns suspension as an example of the difference between Fox and MSNBC in how one enforces rules to separate journalism from political hackery, the other does not. If I was working at a real news network I would also be offended by being equated to Fox.
@anderchick Yes and MSLSD with a socialists coming out party and Olbermann the human hate lying machine is just that level of substarndard to break NBC's golden rule for a few day suspension LOL
@anderchick It's a fun game to pretend to not know the difference between a 'breaking news' program, and its hosts, and a topical discussion/ debate show hosted by big name personalities. Keep playing that game in your universe. The purpose of the video is: "why mention Fox at all?" My best guess was: to assign blame or divert attention, both pathetic gestures. Fox airs shows taht debate 2 sides of an argument... unlike Maddow or Olbermann, who do not allow opposing viewpoints on their shows.
very hard to tell a republican did this...

She spent less than 1 minute addressing Slobbermann's suspension and the entire rest of the time attacking Fox News.
And now she's been caught lying! MS-NBC hosts -- including herself -- have done the exact same things she claims Fox did.
