  • Oh, and what's funny in this video is, people not using their cars for weeks, and months at a time. Because ethanol is used in our fuels in the US, the shelf life is 30 days. After that, the alcohol picks up water and can damage fuel systems. E10 is fine, but don't let that stuff sit. Use it, or buy something else.

  • I was in America and saw the cars they were driving. Its insane. The things are as big as trucks.

The new emissions laws that are in place in the UK citys mean that engines HAVE to get smaller.

Most common engines are the 1.6 mark, super light fuel injected. From the averidge 2.0 ones 6 years ago.America just keeps on with the SUV lifestyle, they are sleep walking into the furure, crazy.

Government needs to stand up to the motor industry and put in laws that force/promote smaller cars on the road.

  • This storyline is so lame. Pregnancy? What does that have to do with an oil shortage?

  • @ocean3da We're not even using Iraqi oil.

  • Imagine if everyone drove cars that got 40 plus mpg and used hypermiling on top of that? Imagine how low gas prices would be.

But no we have to waist gas with lousy driving and shitty useless vehicles aka SUVs.

  • U STUPID MAN...

  • 67tr876. Look at projected energy demand by the energy out look 2011 to 2030. Or dais.

  • @ocean3da: Any strained system seeks to correct itself. The Earth is over populated with humans. Humans with virtually unsatiable hunger for earth's natural resources.

  • When the Oil Companies crashes, they will reveal all the good and enveriomental ways of energy. Because they have been buying all the good ideas just so they could be rich for another day.

  • @ocean3da I never used to believe it. I always believed 100% that these wars literally were to fight terrorism. Now I'm not so sure. It makes perfect sense to me that oil (next to water and food) is THE most precious thing in the world. Without it...we are screwed...unless we can come up with a new fuel, which seems doubtful. Maybe we ARE in fact already witnessing the first wars over oil right now. Very scary situation we are all in.

  • @1selvatico well we are already now. I am surprised that people are not realizing it and still paying for it.

  • love the archie bunker guy, when do we get to burn their fuel

  • ALL THE OIL BELONG TO AMERICA!!! FUCK CHINA

  • @SaltonSeaCoolio

Just to point one thing out.

China consumes 1/6th the oil and gas that america uses on all possible tables.

You didnt know that, its a fact. Just like this is youtube = a fact.

Makes your comment look very stupid, dont you think?

China uses lots of trains, more bycicles, and only drive there fucking car when they seriously have to. How can china be a oil threat to you when it consumes at least half of what america does.

  • THis makes me appreciate my Prius more and more........

  • @azulalover97 fag

  • @azulalover97 No offense, but your Prius is just as wasteful as any other car. The batteries have to be replaced; which means new ones have to be manufactured (burning petrol). And then dumped (pollution). The only difference is that you switch where the oil is burned.

The Honda Civic hx got better mileage by ten gallon to your Prius back in the 90's. And it was a conventional gasoline engine. I would recommend getting a more fuel efficient car; a bicycle. 53 miles per burrito.

  • haha the acting and soryline is horrible:D

  • @ocean3da come on everyone knows russia will change its cosuming from oil to gas because that what they have more and we europeans are everyday building more solar powered stuff or at least triying to our demand wont be that high and i dont have a car i go by bus and i can reach everything in this city there are even farms i can see from my window right now

  • @leolego88

Oh god hilarious. As if building solar cells would lower the oil and gas consumption. First of all no-ones (except like the Arab countries) produces electricity from oil. Secondly gas is burned to compensate changes in production from "green power plants". Also for your information you Germans pay yearly 4 billions euros only from EEG to produce 1% of your whole energy consumption from solar power.

  • Instead of "If the Oil Runs Out", this should be called "When the Oil Runs Out".

  • @1selvatico In Canada it's already $3.90 a gallon, and we EXPORT oil.

  • I wish I could find the video. There is a man in New Jersey who has set up a way to be completely energy independent, off the grid and even contribute to it while living a completely normal middle class lifestyle. He doesn't have a lot of land, but he uses solar panels to power his house and create hydrogen which helps power his home in the winter and he hopes to use in his cars one day. He stores it in two large tanks in his backyard. His house is a completely normal looking middle class house

  • I think John (the man with the white Suburban) is probably what Bill O'Reilly is like off camera... A complete asshole.

  • @hop208

You mean to tell me O'Reilly isn't an asshole on camera?

  • @SirBroadsword He ison camera too, I just think this how he would deal with life situations. By constantly using the phrase, "No one is gonna tell me..." and do what ever he wants no matter the consequences to anyone else. Typical dickish behavior.

  • Presidente Chavez lol wow. were is Mexico in this? they are supposed to be invaded because of their oil...

  • Can't afford the heating??? I should be more worried on can't afford the cooling... :(

  • @1selvatico lol

  • A couple of points to make, in London, the amount of people riding bicycles has increased sharpley already, and in big dense cities, this makes sense, as getting around on a bicycle is often faster then a car anyway, because of traffic congestion.

  • Queen have part of the answer:-

    Bicycle, bicycle, bicycle.... LOL

    Get on your bike literally

  • @ocean3da you forgot to mention Chinese and Russian wars... for now they are avoid a direct conflict but......

  • Earth has already reached its tipping point, oil is about to run down, the economy is dead, the West is fucked unless we go to war. Simple as that.

  • @Dandaniels1978 unless we go to war or rech seriuosly the space industrialization where just in our solar system are real energy and minerals for all the humanity for thousands of years.. but we need global workforce expecially from third world country.

  • @LightsEShadows unfortunately actual blind global leadership that put us in economical crisis, its also going to stop us on earth and stop word industrial develepment... a new medieval theory.. thanks God peoples like Cristoforo Colombo didnt listen them. Hope someones do the same.

  • @LightsEShadows I think you've been watching too many movies buddy and smoking too much pot. "rech seriuosly the space industrialization where just in our solar system are real energy and minerals for all the humanity for thousands of years.

Sorry to spoil your party but how the hell do you intend on getting off the planet without oil in sufficient quantities? When it runs out we go back to the stone ages, freddy flintstone style.

  • @Dandaniels1978 nope i'm serious. And there are serious research about that. First i never said we have to go after oil finished.... secondo with space industrialization and massive nuclear power develop we can make serious step toward fusion reactors to make power and even space propulsion system. We dont have to send heavy ship into the space. The Moon and space station will work as HUB. And you dont need fuel at all or very few, to carry something from earth's orbit to ground....

  • @LightsEShadows you dont need much fuel even for interplanetary voyage. Just for the acceleration at the start and deceleration at the final approach. Minerals Industry already asked to ONU the permission for space drilling, but global leadership that put us into this global crisis, its suck and leave them without an answer....

  • @LightsEShadows I think you need to come back down to earth pal. I'm afraid you put too much faith in technology

  • @Dandaniels1978 Its not just faith, but science. Space Industrialization its a pioneer one, but its sustainable and reliable as was the American Colonization. Look for Space Mining, you'll find different corporation planning that. On the Moon and on Gas Giants there's lots of Helium 3. This will be the fuel of the future. Helium 3 can be used for nuclear energy and for rocket propulsion and will be critical with oil shortage as fuel. Gas giants are very giant miners of Helium 3.

  • @LightsEShadows we must look into the space, let 3rd world develop in this. And we must do it now, before its too late. Actual Global leadership is just too much blind. Private Industry and economy develop will help Humanity to reach the next step of Human Civilization. Think about it. Bye

  • @Dandaniels1978

If you look at the game Oiligarchy, if the "Enjoy Your Retirement" ending (America sucessfully weens itself off its oil addiction) doesn't eventuate, I really do hope we see the (in the game) rare "Farewell West" ending (Western civilization collapses and ends with a wimper) instead of the vastly more common "M.A.D. World" ending (the world ends in cataclysmic nuclear armageddon).

    Continues...

  • @Dandaniels1978

In either of the latter cases, humans are fucked, but at least a "Farewell West" type ending of human civilization (humanity wouldn't die out, but we'd lose much of our technology and current population) doesn't cause the wholesale destruction of much of the life on Earth...

  • @SirBroadsword.....You said it buddy

  • John is a dick!

  • This women is a pig, a real twat. Whats with the pregnancy test having anything to do with this

  • £6 a gallon now.

"you don't know how good you've..." YOU KNOW NOTHING OF MY LIFE, F**** YOURSELF.

    point made.

  • with that girl in the restroom getting naked was so hot.

  • @airpower123

what I should pay even more than I already do to drive on potholed roads that take on average 10 years to get fixed, good one.

  • @KKinsane2009 Yes, buddy, YOU SHOULD PAY EVEN MORE. I'm not saying you have to LIKE it, I am saying YOU HAVE TO PAY IT. You're so spoiled you don't even realize it.

  • when oil is gone so is the money supply

  • 61 of 98 pence is tax?! how the heck can they blame saudis with facts like that?!!

  • shit $4.41 is NOT that much for fuel im used to $5.00 to $6.00 a gallon, and only lower middle class would not be able to pay for oil the expensive!

  • 4.59 bucks?

dude eurpeans are paying over 7 bucks per gallon.

  • in europe we pay 7.50 a gallon so don't complain

  • $4.50 is a gallon is far less then what we pay in Europe today.

  • thank god I don't have to pay for heating, I live in miami florida

  • ninlandon I would like to hope so.....

  • it will for most of the global middle class, because you simply can't afford to pay for it as soon as demand exceed supply!

  • The word your looking for is oil not gas and seeing if you can not even get that right then who would believe you.

  • they arent talking about it running out their talking about production peaking different thing
