  • Can't wait to see how easy this is. I've never played 3rd strike before but I though to parry, all you have to do is tap forward.

  • @oblivion2234

Heheh, oh man, you have no idea.

  • wow thats mad wack, it should have said K.O. at the end of the combo so it could be just like daigo's finish.

this video is still good though

  • The actual moment was amazing.. but after trying to repeat his split second thinking you realise how hard it was.. a new found respect for that moment :)

  • wait wait wait, so Daigo's moment was so famous that he got his moment put into a game?! daaaaaamn!!!!

  • Holy S*%$#!....

  • rare footage of TaciturnArtist actually angry

  • I wonder what Justin Wong thought when he first saw this trial. LOL

  • What a slap in the face to Justin.

  • nice job respect

  • Picture Justin Wong crying while doing this trial.

  • what the timing for the first parry? can anyone confirm that it is before the super flash (like the dudley one?)

  • @OmnipotentO

It's kind of hard to explain it, but I always tap forward as soon as she gets up from her second sit down position. I'm not sure if it will help you, but try to parry around that frame.

  • @TaciturnArtist this helps thanks

  • @TaciturnArtist That makes sense, I can see Ken moving just before the Super flashes.

  • @OmnipotentO Input is not picked up during the short pause after a super is activated. To parry this super and many others you will need to tap forward a split second before the super, so that your character appears to already be moving forward slightly during the short pause. 7 Parrys "Split Second Pause" 7 more parrys "Jump!" parry and you're home free.

  • @hiphop402 OMFG GOT IT fucking thank you!!!

  • @OmnipotentO It always felt to me like I'm tapping forward too early. I pretty much wait till she's right up in my face. Or at least it feels that way. I still can't do the whole thing but I typically get the first five parrys. I'm watching this to get the timing down.

  • I managed to clear this the other day but not without taking a record number of kicks from Chun-li, I actually managed to get the parrying down pretty quick but it was going into the combo and pulling it off perfectly that gave me trouble

  • That's hot that you can do this. I only get to 2-3 maybe 4 parries before getting hit.

  • Everyone get's to be Daigo for a day.

  • i'm trying this on ps3 pad, this is the only parry challenge remaining -_- the max i did was block the frist wave of chun li kicks. but i'll keep trying

  • only daigo looks easy this trial

  • I mean I can't do the combo but I can parry chun-li's attack

  • Good job dude!!! I can only parry the whole thing and for some reason he always hadokens instead of shoryukening!!!!

  • @Conkerz03

I have the exact same problem. Seems the only way around it is to take you fingers off the d-pad completely while you're doing the crouching kick in and very quickly input the shoryuken command. It's really hard. I still haven't done it. I really wish Daigo just did a hadouken instead of a shoryuken lol

  • I think it's so cool they included this as a trial in the Online Edition. They should have had Ken's health at 0.1 though just to make it more realistic...

  • @norsende

I agee. I mean, if they really wanted to replicate the Evo moment, they should have had Ken's health to barely anything.

  • @norsende I also agree but as to how it affects the actual gameplay, it doesn't matter since you're doing a full parry :P

  • FUCK! How could I block the last kick in the foncky air??? I get all kicks but that stills funcking me!!

  • @linkhammer

Jump before she does her last kick and tap forward while in the air. That always worked for me.

  • Lol @ your video text!

Trust me, this is a big accomplishment. For me, I cant even get the timing right on Ken's first dragonpunch. I just can't seem to get that 3rd hit to parry, let alone pull this off.

    GJ buddy!

  • @Rquiem

Thanks, man! I just didn't want to give up this trial; I was so determined to get this down, haha. I had trouble on other trials, too. Just keep practicing and find a rhythm to parry to.

  • @bolodude

No way! I'm far from being a pro player.

  • Excellent!

    And congratulations.

  • Nice video bro it's awesome that you play street fighter keep up the great work.
