You download it, and not only that you own it for life. What I mean by that is you set up an account with steam, and lets say you trash your computer and get a new one. You download steam, and sign in with your username and password. Steam remembers the games you previously bought and own, and allows you to re-download them. =-) and if you are wondering if counter strike: source is a good game, the answer is yes.

The controls are stupid simple, Use, Buy, Forward, Backward, Strafe: Left or Right, Aim, Shoot, Knife, Switch (weapons). It does not get any more simple than that. The gameplay is straight forward and self explanatory. However there is skill involved, reflexes, strategy and the like. For instance when I play I use only a pistol for close and far range... The Desert Eagle. Most people use the M4 or AK then spray and pray, I use one bullet per person =-) so yes I only need 7 bullets heh.
