Interpretation is ok...sometimes a bit harsh and exuerbant but gentle when needed and heroic when applicable. Slokar is good but he ain't Ian Bousfield, Joe Alessi, Michel Becquet, Jay Friedman, Ralph Sauer, or Jorgen van Rijen either.
What a great concerto for trombone and a very impressive performance.

The soloist is a slovenian trombonist Branimir Slokar. He is one of the best trombonists probably in the world :)
