If you listen closely to the background music, you'll notice it's by Steely Dan. The name of that composition is called "East St. Louis Toodle-Oo", and it's from their album Pretzel Logic. I guess this guy must be a serious SD fan, which is very intriguing because I am, too!
first of all I came to love your drawings when my girlfriend brought me a book of your bible illustrations some time ago. and i've been crazy about your color scheme ever since.
I have 2 questions....
you said you like to work on four layers. You mentioned that the background layer is used to put your colors....the 2nd layer your pencil drawing......but what do you do on the 3rd and 4th layer?
Also...you said working in plight is destracting to you. what is plight!? :)
...hmmm ...I had to watch this video again to see what was on it. I think I was saying working on white is distracting to me so I put some sort of tone down as the bottom layer(1)... then a blank layer to paint under the drawing(2)... then the drawing set to multiply mode(3)... the another layer on the very top to do the finishing work on(4)... four layers...
