Forget about sheet music being THE WAY to play things. Get a load of that: Sheet music merely serves as a reference to folks(the majority of piano players) who can't play and arrange by ear. Much is omitted by the publishers as not to put buyers off,- sheet music i will never emulate the band's rich lush sound. Check out Martin Avila,(avilajulia) and mercuziopianist , now THESE are GREAT, but NOT THE only ways to play it. youtube link: "avilajulia" and "mercuziopianist ", Whaddayathink?

Finally someone who plays it right! Even the cross hand! Watch it though when you cross the hands! You'll get a tendency to easily hit a note by accident! And it'll stick out very sore but nice!

Yep, that's definitely the proper version, I can play half of it, it's the real version that's played in the song, I think it's the best version.

this is basically the real version with a few tweaks. i know because i have the actual sheet music. the reason it sounds different is because there are no vocals or other instruments. this is just the part freddie plays on the piano

@Amazongrassmonster yes its the real version piano but its not the original piano track but its a nice beggining where do you had sheets music ? because i know a very good site dedicated to queen's song and there is the sheet music of BH but if you want to have the very exactly version of the piano track and compare it with the sheet

@jbelmaestro it came in a booklet containing the sheet music for several queen songs. i'm pretty sure it's the actual music freddie plays but it could be wrong.

Hi, I tune pianos and can tune quite beautifully. Actually I can "juice up" the tuning so it's extra sweet, extra supportive for the chord, the salient-note structure of the piece you want to play. Yet leave you with a tuning that is extremely adaptable for other things as well. Seriously, I'm a top professional.

Dude, I have the *original* transcripts from the Studio year 1975 and your version is definitely not the 100% real version.

And not to forget, the piano and guitar notes changed a littleee littleee bit on concerts as Queen moved on after 1975.

I agree. I think you've managed to capture pretty much the exact piano notes.

I had to tinker with the notes too - I was playing the piano accompaniment for a live performance. The so-called official score for the song is pretty inaccurate, with lots of chords that simply aren't there, and other places where they mix in guitar and vocal parts too.

I also had to transpose it down to D major, so that singers with a normal male vocal range could manage it. Freddie's voice was amazingly versatile!

Not particularly...it has some fairly large chords in it, but it didn't take me too long and i was a beginner when I learnt it.

Depends which version, there are easy piano versions, but you can make it harder by putting in stuff like the crossover and arpeggios, but it's fun to play.

You know, you didnt have to figure the song out by ear..you could of just looked for a midi file. Midi files are usually very accurate (the sheet music) as when you listen to the song. They have this midi. You should try using midi files, just a suggestion. Anyhow, good job.
