some of these songs are so freakin awesome! this one, sally and jacks montage and oogie boogies song really surprised me. However it seems that to balance it out they felt they had to add something on the complete opposite of the spectrum.. aka flyleaf, sparklehorse..... just... ew

A LOT of the songs suck, but at kleast they're different, which is the whole point of a cover. And flyleaf's what's this? and rise against's making christmas are just excellent.
@LittleYellowBusKid This is truly the best revisited song! Out of the whole album.. this is the only song that convinces me it's the same old Tim Burton&Danny Elfman flare of passion as the movie. But no cover can beat the orignals :P
Wow... ok they did a slight Japanese type feel to it again but this one is much better. It's got that creepy dream land type feel. Something where it would be in a child's nightmare with melting clocks and twisted dolls. That and it kinda sounds like someone is getting high or something and this is their drug trip.

For Jackskellingtonjojo, The songs on this album aren't supposed to sound like the orignals. Some of the covers did turn out pretty bad though...Don't even mention Jack's Obsession...

A LOT of the songs suck, but at kleast they're different, which is the whole point of a cover. And flyleaf's what's this? and rise against's making christmas are just excellent.

@LittleYellowBusKid This is truly the best revisited song! Out of the whole album.. this is the only song that convinces me it's the same old Tim Burton&Danny Elfman flare of passion as the movie. But no cover can beat the orignals :P

I looked up Nightmare Revisted on iTunes though; "This is Halloween" is supposed to be on that one too as well as the anniversary CD.

Wow... ok they did a slight Japanese type feel to it again but this one is much better. It's got that creepy dream land type feel. Something where it would be in a child's nightmare with melting clocks and twisted dolls. That and it kinda sounds like someone is getting high or something and this is their drug trip.
