Xept the game engine makes no sense, since any spells trying to get through stopped time would IN FACT definitely should stop, i so solely hope dota 2 has fixed such issues cuz void ulti is supposed to stop time at a spot completely including ranged attacks and spells of any kind and only occur after timers out.

let's look at the possible outcomes

scenario 1: void timewalks -> hits omni -> kills omni but is then provoked by axe -> frosted by cm -> dies

scenario 2: void timewalks -> chronosphere -> kills omni -> timewalk away

@KuroroDanchou Scenario 2 could never have happened. It would have been impossible to get DP, Axe and CM in the same ulti. If any one of them got left out, Void would die for certain, if Axe or CM were left out, no kill and still a death.

Basically, horrible play from the FV when you have the benefit of hindsight.

axe can be ignored because if you position your chronosphere so it envelops omniknight and CM, axe would never have a chance to provoke void. DP can be ignored np

1: The AOE could not cover CM and Axe, if it was cast on CM, it would put Omni right on the edge, inside call range.

Your second scenario can't happen because the CD of timewalk is far too long to just timewalk away after Chonosphere. If you don't trap the DP in the Chronosphere and then kill the Omni fast enough to get away while she's still inside (in the imaginary scenario where you get the CM/Axe), she follows and silences.
