Oh boy, four moths ago. I don't know if your comment still stands, but if it does, then do a Google search for the closest "reformed theology Baptist church" in your area. See the YouTube video /watch?v=Hfg1lMDHblU for a discussion of what reformed theology is, and why Christless churches reject it.
why respond? well kkkatherine, I believe you started it. ...and I love to argue, especially with fundamentalist zealots. SO entertaining. and now you with the mocking...so clever. Arrogant and appalling? no no, clever and entertaining. (and yet, completely predictable)
Audible67 : No one is held Captive to view/hear this video-thanks for your interest. I pray that you find peace and salvation thru Christ. But, feel free to believe as you chose.
As for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord Almighty: Jesus Christ.
and you are free to not reply and keep your empty proselytizing to yourself.
I do believe you believe what you're saying. I also believe, however, that that bulk of the people that identify as strongly with these myths as you do are deluded rhetoric-spewing, hypocrites - and that's not just me thinking that. The impertinent finale to your canned reply sums you up.
It's people like you that make the idea 'lamb of god' sound more like a cynical catch-phrase. I stand by my original reply. I would add that you are a clown. Your arrogance is appalling. I can tell by your language that you have indeed drank the kool-aid and to you rational discourse no longer can apply. ha! It was too a canned reply...the standard whackjob zealot end times talking points... you need to LIVE your life instead of just planning for your death...pathetic!
Very interesting. I am pleased that this phenomenon of 'Christless Christianity' is acknowledged. This gives me hope that there are some people who have their finger on the pulse.
We must realize that most of what is called evangelicalism today is neo-evangelicalism. Consequently, I do not recommend using the term evangelical because of these connotations. Every Christian is evangelical, by definition; if they preach the Gospel, but let us never be "Evangelicals".
I still have to watch the other parts, but I am hoping he addresses this political "Christianity" we see from the Republicans (and increasingly Democrats - see Hillary Clinton on Methodism in the current Newsweek). These wealth gospels and America gospels seem to go hand in hand.
This is EXCELLENT teaching.

How about this. How about everyone of you just SHUT UP and Learn of Jesus?
HE SAID, "Learn of Me,..."
God has called US into FELLOWSHIP WITH HIS SON.
ALL you ignoramouses that have their head stuck in the Bible and know NOTHING of the Jesus OF the Bible FOR THEMSELVES.
"TO anyone who THINKS he knows something, HE KNOWS NOTHING, as he OUGHT TO KNOW."
Grow up, shut up and sit at The Lord's feet as Mary did listening to HIM.

@MySunshineNora Wouldn't you have to have your head stuck in the Bible to know that verse of the Bible? ;-)

@ChrisHobeck No, come on now...you know what I meant.

You DO Realize you have Choices, don't you?
...this is NOT a 'Canned Reply'...
Much, consequences of enormous proportion await...where will be ...your Final Destiny...It's in the balance.
I have a couple brothers who are agnostic or atheists...they don't disclose which.
I'd like someone 'outside the family circle'
at least make them contemplate Just Perhaps, they May Have Gotten It Wrong...
I can not save my brothers or you. but i know Who can.

Me being "Arrogant and Appalling" why should one as erudite as you, deem my goodself even worth responding to?
How pathetic of me to end above sentence with a Preposition?
