to b honest with u, its just a rock vid so i dont take it so seriously. everything about rock is supposed to be rediculous. its dumb how in rock vids its ok to rape women till they bleed in a pile and smash cars up and start fights for no reason and graffiti on evreything. then as soon as somebody wears a cross or a swastica (which DOES mean victory. not "sod the jews" - thats hitlers doing) it all gets blown out of propertion. and as for the military uniform - probs signifies victory in battle

That is vey lame way of defending the sign of swastika. It is true that India(and many other countries in Asia) uses that symbol as "good fortune/victory" however it is different here. One, old Asian symbol is crooked in different way than Nazi's swastika. Two swastika that Die have on is inside white circle with red background and its symbol is crooked to the side the way no other Asian symbol does. This sign is clearly from Nazi Germany. .

Yeah. lol I rarely reply to an year old statement. Nor do I reply at all these days. But it's not only you. Many have tendency to defend this as "symbol from Asia" which is totally different. Plus, I do agree they are just rock band and have no intention of supporting Nazism. They probably do it for shock value. But I think it is important to take this symbol more seriously than using it without any clear motive. And I don't really like today's Dir en Grey either. :))))

To answer the question in this case is pretty simple. Listen to the japanese interviewer at 1:41, and then listen to Kyo say it more quickly afterward. Hearing it spoken will be more helpful that seeing it in text.

Actually I read somewhere that when they had first started out Toshiya was the newbie therefore it took him longer to fit in. There was an interview where I think he said that he had been about to quit but then decided to stay in teh end when it paid off. He used to actually be a very selfish person there is a an interview that it was just him I need to find it again. And read it again to get it all straight it's actually a very deeo interview for him I really need to find it.

Kyo looked like he didn't care, Kaoru was the only one not twitching the whole time (and he sounded adorable with what sounded like a cold), Die looked completely adorable -despite the swastika- with his long hair, Totchi looked like he wanted to get away from there asap, and Shinya looked hilariously cute while continuously playing with his getup.

wow, this is old. the swastika actually came from the buddist symbol, called a Manji except its backwords. http://altreligion.about.com/l­ibrary/glossary/symbols/bldefs­manji.htm (theres a link about Manji) So basically it was stolen from Buddist and reversed, making it a different meaning.
