Breeze was straight FIRE back in the day!!! I had this album and I used to bump this all the time!!! The whole album was hot!!! He is one of those truly great MC's that never got his props like he should have!
Bobcat telling a story about LL Cool J: So he was like "You gotta join my crew and you gotta to on tour". I was like, "Naw. I DJ for Breeze" because I am a loyal cat. This was a life changing invitation but I was like "Naw, I DJ for Breeze". He said, "talk to Breeze".When I went to Breeze I was like "Morgan…LL wants me to " and he cut in "Man, I just knew he was going to do that" (laughs).
@assmuncher1984 And that's the rest ot the story"... Please, all BS aside, I really, wanna know how that ish went down? "OLE' SCHOOL" will always rule!!! HOLLLA"!!!!
@lxolxo7 - No BS here. Just read this...Google "Raptalk sits down with Bobcat in a historic interview" and read through that. you can press CTRl+F to "find" something. So, press CTRL+F and search for "Breeze". You will see what Bobcat had to do with MC Breeze. Case closed
@michaelgatten - DJ Bobcat interview "at the time I was Southern California's #1 DJ. I put together the California Cat Crew and put Battlecat, Wildcat, and a bunch of other Cats on. So I had a DJ Network started already. I had that kind of local success when Darryl Pierce and Dwayne Simon called me, they was in New York already because we had known Russell Simmons from us breaking their music at our Uncle Jamm's Army party's, so they was out there doing pre-production for a rapper named Breeze.

The beat holds up INCREDIBLY well, even today, and Breeze came ill with the lyrics. His style sounds like a mix of Rakim and Kool Moe Dee... VERY awesome and interesting.
