  • なんか懐かしくぬくもりがある曲だよな、SFCのダブドラやりたくなってきた!

  • Fun fact.... In Parasite Eve (by Squaresoft now SquareEnix) has a track called "Out of Phase"... If you had played that game that song plays in the police precint.... it sounds very similar to this track.... Long live Double Dragon and the Lee brothers...

  • This makes me picture a casino or the streets of New York.

  • nice

  • this was my favorite level 1 track compared to the american version....it sounds more up to the speed of the whole context of the game and the level one more specifically..

  • Bring back those sidescrolling beat-em-ups already!

  • this is song is good

makes wanna dance and play the same time

  • GROOVY and FUNKY!

  • Do you have an MP3 of this song. I love it.

  • favorite snes game of alltime..too bad i didnt have it myself, didnt have an adapter to play the american version so i had to go play it with my friend or borrow it from him.. i need to get this game again asap..co op heaven

  • to be honest I like this version than the usa version

  • this song remember me of shadow of the shinobi

  • I play this game with my Psp. You can push it to 70fps. Awesome!

  • Nah man i think the japanese is way harder on hard difficulty aside from knives not being 1 hit kill. Enemies can duck your punches and kicks.Search super double dragon hack and find the one made my Senzeren(I think thats how you spell his name) in his hacked version, you fight 2 Dukes (end boss) at the same time in the truck stage. Every attack from enemies is also sped up.

  • Amazing song!! Double Dragon forever!!!

  • Great song.

  • A fucking classic

  • This is song is so good!!! Thanks for the upload.

  • nice theme!!!!

  • Can't believe this song isn't in the US version its nice too.

  • this is the jap version, the US version is better but the jap version game had some actions the US version didnt

  • The American version is a watered-down version of the Japanese game. A ot of things were removed from the American version. Level 1's music is different (though personally love both), in the Japanese version you could catch boomerangs automatically, while in America, you had to punch it on it's way back, then pick it up off the ground. Also, the bombs slightly hurt you in the Japanese game, while in the American game, they killed (although in the US version it was more realistic...).

  • You are right but then again wrong. First off both game NEVER were finished. The Americans focused more on the difficulty and enemies while The Japanese focused more on Finishing the stages. American = Harder and Japanese = Longer. Even on Hard Japanese is still easy. Although i wished this game were finished. I have been playing this since 1995 and i still play it on my snes and emu till this very day

  • @BozeefusIsBack

I've owned a SNES cartridge of this game since Christmas of 1992. One day I need to get a Japanese copy so I can compare them.

  • @DJCandyManMike Oh, sure brotha, we can always play on zsnes, an emulator designed to play snes games online, you need to get zsnes v1.42. the only ones that has online

  • @DJCandyManMike Japanese version is better than the American version of Super Double Dragon

  • @arobb2007

Yeah, that's a given since the Japanese version is more complete.

  • @MaxxTheSlash: You missed something else. Enemies could duck incoming punches and high kicks in the Japanese version.

  • @MaxxTheSlash

It's not that things were taken out in the American version - we actually got it before Japan did! Unfortunately, that meant that theirs is more complete, and now you know one of the reasons they got it more complete - ours was even more rushed to the shelves.

  • @MaxxTheSlash

    that may be because-

    1. Neither version was finished anyway.

    2. What Bozeefus here said.

    3. I'm pretty sure the Japanese version was released later.

  • The song that was used for the US version's first level (Las Vegas) was used in the Japanese version a few levels later (the level where you fight on the roof of a moving bus).

  • 0:57 man thats when i start to whoop ass lol, best game ever

  • The soundtrack for this game was quite good and this is my favorite track throughout the game. I always wished someone at remix.overclocked would of remixed this song.
