  • we were friends, confidants, lovers, fighters, and wild bull riders. through all the bike trips, boat trips, parties, we laughed we cried, somehow we ALL made it through it in one piece. heres to the bonfires and high 5"s cheers to the real "MOTLEY CREW" summer of 87" !!! WOO HOO !

  • I saw Firehouse in a consert in Leknes. 19 of march 2010 Together with Dare and Winger. Great band great lyrics.

  • What's the name of picture in the video? Is this some kind of art? or what?

  • @BKKPL

I'm always looking for fantasy or surreal art on the web. I found this somewhere

by searching for one or the other.

  • I am discovering that my home its truly where my heart is. That my home exists within my heart. It has just taken a very long time to rediscover that basic truth. Sometimes, it felt so far away. Thank you so much for the song and video. Love, light and blessings.

  • This is real music with true meaning of rhythm. I don't know where the hell of today's musicians came from 'cause I don't understand what they are doing; are they making music or just making craps... FIREHOUSE one of the greatest metal bands...

  • I agree with you (smitchix)

  • muito fodaaaaaaaa

  • this is my theme song cruising down the highway in my trans am every friday night.

  • Weird beginning. There is a live concert I have on DVD of an old Chameleons UK song with the exact same title that has that warped pad sound in the beginning. Only that video came out 8 years before this song. But two completely difference sounds afterward. This song sounds like it came out in 83. Seems kind of dated for its time. I'm glad they made big in Asia though.

  • nice song

  • Home is where the heart is! [And my heart belongs to this remarkable era!] Listening to this song reminds me of summertime journeys!

Btw, the whole debut album is outstanding! Well I mean.. everyone should rock n' roll party listening to this killer release! :)

  • I agree with smitchix

  • firehouse forever!

  • lol the guitar solo in this song sounds almost exactly like the one in "reach for the sky"

  • Who all on here realizes that Firehouse was actually called Whiteheat at one time. They had to change their name for legal reasons....I think it was a band from Canada that already had that name..I think so,I maybe wrong on that, not too sure.

  • @rodneywrc8 yes, they used to get some airplay in Myrtle Beach SC under that name and they also played all the local clubs as White Heat. I used to work with Perry's sister

  • this guy sounds good

his voice dont bother you like other singers

and song's sound is very clean, i like the combo of guitars and vocalist

  • sounds like "all she wrote".. hahaha

  • Great song....great band!!!

  • Firehouse, Queen. These guys were all queer as a rainbow cake, but DAMN good music! =-)

  • Thanks, this is my favorite of good ole FIREHOUSE.....it is in my favorites!

    ...."no matter how far away...one thing I can't forget".....shhwweeeeet.

  • wish my home was with me at last 26 more days =[

  • I can't find my heart :'(

Alone in a world so dark,

help! I can't find a way out of here.

  • a kiLLer Guitar sOLo tOO!! awesomely rock

  • This song makes me remember where i should belong, this rock hard song HOME is where the heart is C.J Snare!!

  • awesome song

  • Amazing song! That´s my favorite song from FireHouse!! They are great!!

  • wow rage1umr..........you named some great bands I loved in the 80's and brought back some KILLER memories.

  • sounds like axel rose

  • Axel does not and has NEVER had the vocal talent that C.J. Snare had.

  • wow really

  • a wicked ending to a great tune

  • I have great memories of me and my best friend jamming out tothis song whenever we went out to parties and such.Hes in very bad health now and I miss the days of bygone past.

  • i wish your friend willbe good fella. best wishes from my heart :(

  • I miss them days too.

  • everyday. me the same. they were the best....funny thing, I still get goose bumps from the tunes like I used too...awesome

  • yes they are my dad use to say they were good catholic boys that played their music too goddamn loud!! it was fucking hilarious

  • a very underated band i knew billy as a kid and hes a great guitarist. they were crazy good live

  • that's fuckin' cool man ;)

  • I had the privilege of chauffering them around to shows and they are a great bunch of guys.

  • everyone thinks they began in 1980s, they started in 1990 and ran popular for a few years, they are still together

  • Past....

  • Okay (totally dating myself, but whatever) so I graduated from high school and left for college when this song came out and it just brings back SO many drunken nights missing home and my girlfriend. Oh, the good old days of teen angst! Hee, hee. Now, the teens just shoot everyone. Back in the day, we just rocked out!!!!!

  • I can appreciate...graduated in '91, left for the Army. Firehouse, Winger, Kix, Ratt, Britny Fox, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Poison, BulletBoys were practically required listening. Late 80s/early 90s...good times, good times. I can remember jammin' to this tune from two 15" MTX subs stuffed into the back seat of a '78 t-top Trans Am. Sweet.

  • what a rocker! Is there a band out there today that is REMOTLEY capable of writing an playing a song that comes close to touching this? This is a great song from a bygone era that NEEDS to return for the sake of rock music!

  • @smitchix This era will never die as long as theres still 80's rockers out there keeping it real

  • @greggoin55 or 90's rockers like Firehouse

  • @smitchix motley crue. they sound exactly like motley crue, except not as good. but close.

  • @LadyWeezel Wrong! They are much, much better than M.Crue.

  • oops... yes you are right... 1990 release of their first album... but they are forever linked to hair bands of the 80's (and early 90's)...

  • video ?!? song is awesome but you guys mean what video ?!

  • Fabulous song from a great hair band of the 80's

  • even though they had their debut album in 1991 - so btw.

  • 1990 to corret myself

  • my fav video and song

  • This is an awesome song & video!! Peace/Love

  • ALWAYS loved this song!

  • Truley a wonderful song. I can realate to these lyrics alot.
