the buttons and knobs on the autopilot panel seem far larger than they ought to be. the knobs look almost as large as soda cans. were they intentionally modeled out of scale, or is this the size they would really be in a real aircraft? thanks...
this is just my two cents so please dont be offended, but i think the immersion and appearance of a scale cockpit is better and the knobs won't be that hard to operate
@rddaos well.. every user has an opinion... and because I made it, I chose that way. It would be a shame you don't try the plane just because of that. I found someone that didn't like and wasn't to buy the plane becuase I made some dirt in the windshield. I think still he hasn't got the plane because I didn't remove the dirt. If I would do what everyone ask me, then I would never end the projects. Of course I respect it, but, it is like it is. And I am proud of the final result, for sure!

@kurono12ban The plane will never be released on Alpha stage. Always is the same. People want things now, and later if they have lots of bugs they complain. In all my planes always I have taken care to be bugs free. Of course have been found some after release but little ones always that were fixed very quick.
An Airliner without systems is like a cessna. VFR only. I am sorry but this is not freeware. This is payware and I cannot play with people money.

WOW!!! I am a CRJ pilot (First Officer) for SkyWest Airlines and a former MSFS add-on developer. I have about 3500hrs. as an FO on the real CRJ. You product is visually realistic to the Nth degree as it is portrayed in this video! EXCELLENT work!
I noticed one minor problem and scrubbed the existing comments to see if someone had already caught it: The rectangular shapes on the aft overhead panel are actually hand holds. There are 2 flood lights on the ceiling aft of the overhead in the -200.
Hey Japo, I'm really looking forward to this release. As I watch this video I noticed that it's almost a year old. Any chance of a video with the updated progress? I have been a flight sim enthusiast for a very long time. And I can honestly say this is the best looking aircraft I have ever seen in any flight sim. I just bought X plane because of this video. I have been a long time fan of FSX but looking to move over to X plane.
@heavybubble41 mmmm it depens on the programing and still finish some parts of the Fms and minor systems but it wont be short time I believe. Progress is slow sometimes.
Well I know that the wait it's long. For me it's long!! But there is no much it can be done to speed it up. It takes really long to program all the systems. I hope you all understand how complicate is develope a plane like this. But I think it will worth it. Better be patience. Thanks!
As long as you bring up enough to feed the client there is PROOF you're going to be able to release it. If they don't get this proof they get impatient :p

hey there japo. i have seen your videos on this project and i can see tons of unfair feedback. i am a crj-200 line mechanic and i cannot wait to get ahold of this plane on my simulator. there is only one observation: i noticed the plane goes completely alive once the master switch is flipped. this is not accurate, since the master will only power the eicas displays and a few more items, but the generators can power up everything... write back to me if you would like more tips. excellent job!
Yes yes.. we know the issue with battery and other displays. One purpose of this videos is to know those things because no one let us get inside a real cockpit. Only the good help of 4 real pilots gave me some videos and photos, but still things are missing. On final version I think that issue will be fixed (only 2 central display illuminate and with APU Gen illuminates pilot-copilot ones.
Anyway.. more fixes will be have to be made but things are going quite good! Thx!

well Stil working on it. The Main progress comes from Programming. Someone said that the last mile is always the longest. Well I don't know if we are in the last mile but it seems that the goal is in front of us. Don't want to say a date, because everytime I say it it always change it to latter.
About price. Well.. it won't be a cheap as other x-plane planes can be found.. but also not expensive as too much FSX planes. We have an idea.. but it is better end it.. and evaluate then.Thx for all!

We need this for FS2004 too! I was a pilot in a Challenger 604 and it brings back such good memories! I fly the Global 5000 now but let me tell you if I had this sim for the Challenger I could have used it for a reference with systems overview and reference into unfamiliar airports! Can somebody give me one good reason why a plane used for a flight sim should be payware. You should have the freedom to fly any plane you want instead of having to pay for it. I'd be mad as hell if my favorite plane was payware.

Right now the A320 project is stopped until the end of the CRJ-200. After that I will continue with the A320 that is the project of Anton, that lot of the programming for the CRJ will be useful for the A320
Right Now Anton is working on FMS The route and legs page is already done and the loading of the airac database is almost complete (not all). Doing Thrust limit page and perf init. When The FMS is finished still the completion of 4 more EISCAS pages (2 days per page do do or so) Fire extinguish and cabin pressure. That point we will reach beta point. And from beta 1 more month to release the plane (or less) So.. I don't want to say a date, but maybe 2 more months? we are working hard.

Has anyone noticed that when it comes to X-plane videos, half the comments are FSX/FS9 users saying x-plane sucks and in FSX/FS9 videos, X-plane user comments are non existent. Says something about MSFS users.

Im a supporter of FSX, and of X plane. They both work. Maybe, you can look at it in that this project is paving the way for future ones. Def not a waste of time by any means.

Well it is a waste that you had to make it for X-Plane because it won't be used by everybody to it's full potential that it could've if you made it for FSX.

Even if it's not done, it's worth selling it.
And if new programmer appears in the future and can upgrade this, then you can sell the updates.

hey there japo. i have seen your videos on this project and i can see tons of unfair feedback. i am a crj-200 line mechanic and i cannot wait to get ahold of this plane on my simulator. there is only one observation: i noticed the plane goes completely alive once the master switch is flipped. this is not accurate, since the master will only power the eicas displays and a few more items, but the generators can power up everything... write back to me if you would like more tips. excellent job!

Yes yes.. we know the issue with battery and other displays. One purpose of this videos is to know those things because no one let us get inside a real cockpit. Only the good help of 4 real pilots gave me some videos and photos, but still things are missing. On final version I think that issue will be fixed (only 2 central display illuminate and with APU Gen illuminates pilot-copilot ones.
Anyway.. more fixes will be have to be made but things are going quite good! Thx!

well Stil working on it. The Main progress comes from Programming. Someone said that the last mile is always the longest. Well I don't know if we are in the last mile but it seems that the goal is in front of us. Don't want to say a date, because everytime I say it it always change it to latter.
About price. Well.. it won't be a cheap as other x-plane planes can be found.. but also not expensive as too much FSX planes. We have an idea.. but it is better end it.. and evaluate then.Thx for all!

You have to make a 747. There is no 747-400 on x-plane that have a real 3D cockpit.

Oh.. I don't see the comment here.. but I saw before. Someone was asking me the "atmospheric music I used": It is "early" from Chicane, and the second part is "Leaving Town" From the same author.
Soon is going to be released the new album from chicane. I will see if I use one of his great compositions to do next video of CRJ.

We need this for FS2004 too! I was a pilot in a Challenger 604 and it brings back such good memories! I fly the Global 5000 now but let me tell you if I had this sim for the Challenger I could have used it for a reference with systems overview and reference into unfamiliar airports! Hope to see this for FS2004

Can somebody give me one good reason why a plane used for a flight sim should be payware. You should have the freedom to fly any plane you want instead of having to pay for it. I'd be mad as hell if my favorite plane was payware.

Well, it takes alot of patience and skill to make such a sophisticated piece of software. There's not alot of people willing to do that so they gotta have some sort of financial profit out of all that work.

sorry, didn't see the post. Intel q6600 a little overclocled (not much), Nvidia gx285, windows xp sp3 and 4 gb Ram. But I will port the desired and minimum spec of this plane at the end. Anyway.. it is going almost the same frames than the avanti ferrari

Right now the A320 project is stopped until the end of the CRJ-200. After that I will continue with the A320 that is the project of Anton, that lot of the programming for the CRJ will be useful for the A320

Right Now Anton is working on FMS The route and legs page is already done and the loading of the airac database is almost complete (not all). Doing Thrust limit page and perf init. When The FMS is finished still the completion of 4 more EISCAS pages (2 days per page do do or so) Fire extinguish and cabin pressure. That point we will reach beta point. And from beta 1 more month to release the plane (or less) So.. I don't want to say a date, but maybe 2 more months? we are working hard.

Amazing. I've been fallowing this project and this just makes me want to buy it more. Any work on an estimated release date and/or a price range?
Has anyone noticed that when it comes to X-plane videos, half the comments are FSX/FS9 users saying x-plane sucks and in FSX/FS9 videos, X-plane user comments are non existent. Says something about MSFS users.
Why don't you all stop wasting your time trying to say that another simulator is better, and just fly, thats the whole point of it.

well who knows? Time will say the last word. For now my only goal is to finish the plane and release for all that want to fly it. X-plane comunity fan supporters or people from FSX, Lockon, Blackshark, World of Warcraft or whatever that just wanna fly it.
But say that you HOPE we don't make enough money, what tells me is that you have a hate against x-plane.
Listen.. I am not an x-plane supporter or FSX or whatever. I just did on x-plane because it is much easyer and has better FPS than FSX.
