@MultiSkittleMonster Thats exactly what I was thinking. I have a female purebred malamute who looks just like her accept that my dogs nose is a little thicker. Anyway beautiful dogs the both of them.

@chouser131 uh.. if humans can swim in a pool.. then dogs can. lol all you have to do is wash the chlorine off their fur, spray them with a fur conditioner, and their fine...

Hi, there:)) As , being owned , by my team of Siberian & a few Mals,, They wanted me to let you know , that , Huskies hate water, its, instictive, to the breed. , As , open ice , meant danger & falling into water was a death sentence to them , that is why , the Inuit , trusted their dogs so much , hunting , as the Huskies , would avoid any cracks in the ice & it was an alert to the hunters

We had just refilled the pool after having it replastered - it was late-winter and the water was COLD!! My little ones won't get in the pool at all, they had a bad experience when they were puppies... but Sheena would swim several times a day in the summer.
