@PyrotechnicsNL Thanks buddy, i have 6 new ones, ill test shoot 2 of them with and without Ti added, i really want the bee sound to be present, and im afraid the metals will reduce the frenetic spinning sound
@PyroPortrayal Thanks alot, i have a few how to vids going on now, the knowhow to make this stinger device is not as hard as you would think, the main issues with these are the sidevent position and angle, also the tube thickness, use waterglass(sodium silicate) to fireproof the sidevent, it gives the engine a fast/long spintime because the hole doesnt grow like a ordinary paper vent does, also the fuel beeing as fast as possible, lift fast fuel is great to use, ill make a how to vid of stingers
Interesting, i've never heard of using waterglass for that purpose. I do have some small stinger missiles that I have made on my channel, just nothing big enough for some cool headers :)
@MlkePortnoy I found the stand on a great pyro site, how its built will you find linked in the right column on my site now, its called " how to make the stinger missile and the launch pad" hehe
@murdoch2486 Im looking forward to shoot them, the sound is best without the ti added, so maby ill just go for this version, ofcourse a small report of some kind on top, hehe, the stingers take around 5 minutes to make, so ill mass produce a few more, another fun thing is, in norway, stick stabilized rockets got banned by law 2 years ago, i guess i found a workaround on that law.lol
@murdoch2486 Ill test fire another few in the nighttime today, ill cut back to 1% Ti in one and see if i can maintain the bee sound, yea! a bang will be done on each one of course;) maby some eggs in them and the Ti sponge spread.
@vh718 It is a good pad, a bit work to twist the metal but when the ignition cable is attached, it sure held it in place, i tried to use e firing without that stand, the stinger wouldnt stay upright then, so this is far better choice.
Good stand!!
I find those stingers coming right at me some times, this should take care of that. And sometimes a little wet spot where you don't want it :D

These inspire the most "wow cool, wtf is that?!" comments from the audience. Love em :)
I wish I had the materials/knowhow to make one with a large go getter shell on top, now that would be two strange effects!

ahhh i see, but the Ti looks so awesome as well! and it really emphasizes the spinning motion on the device.
ofcourse! its got to have a bang in there! :)
haha, when theres a will theres a way!
So whens this display going down?
