  • How did Cane and Abel have kids?

  • i can relate to James. I grew up in west Philadelphia and spent most of my time getting in fights at the playground. My grandma finally sent me to my uncle's house in bel-air where I straitened out and found the words of Jesus.

  • @11leeman ha ha. and then you became the Fresh Prince?? who are you Will Smith?

  • I like to question everything that sorrounds and effects my overall life. I was curious to see if Niles could proof christianity to be back up by anything at all. Unfortunately, the question was never answered. Personal experiences do not count as proof nor evidence.

  • "Christian faith" I grew up in a christian household,-i was abused, second, this so-called faith tells you you should love your brother, then why is it the back-stabbing happened in church? And so it's "Roman" catholic? The Roman's- the most brutal establishment in history-and handed jesus over to the jews? the king killed by his own people?-Priests that molest little boys,a pope that covers it up,mafia connections...the list goes on -Hypocrites all of them,And liars all.you should all be lawyers.

  • @wavular Two things first of all the Roman empire became the most powerful empire of it's time not because of the abuse but because they had a republic kind of like the U.S and they were originally free people. However the senate learned how to abuse the system.

Secondly, why do you let other people who can't get their faith right stop you from knowing a God who loves you and showing them how they should live their faiths. One thing I will do is debate other Christian's who behave wrongly.

  • @skinlesscougar ok-I am just pointing out the "Obvious" instances, imagine the ones not printed in the news? And i know jesus,i just don't like looking or hearing about the pure hatred and corruption going on in the religious groups today, even jesus lost his temper...once mind you,but did he ever whoop ass when he did!!

  • There is nothing spiritual about Christianity they follow a thoughtform and are headed for their own spiritual damnation through lack of knowledge. Christians know nothing about the soul, how it works, how to heal themselves or others, or the spirit world they just take everything on faith. Faith is for fools when you can see the truth with your own eyes.

  • I have transformed my life without the christian faith and i am a much better person then i used to be.

  • About Faith.

Faith is not trusting in whatever you are told from a source you choose or were conformed to. Faith really is openness to the truth no matter what it may turn out to be. Being so conditioned by your beliefs that there is no possible way you could ever be wrong makes you think like a fool. Everyone is wrong about almost everything almost all the time. All we can do is keep striving for answers until we find what we are looking for. Whats the best thing we got? The Scientific Method!

  • @Zeitgeist1101 Oh meditation and truthful inner contemplation as well :)

  • "The wind blows where it wishes. You can hear the sound of it, but cannot tell from where it comes or where it goes. So are those who are born of spirit." John 3:8

  • I appreciate your passion, however all your points were based on the experiences of others and seemed incomplete. Perhaps it would mean more to hear your thoughts and experiences instead of those written by others. Thanks for what you do.

  • Omg...I have a a few spritual expereinces ever since last July. God is very real I never really even thought of God and all before I had an experience...And I saw the Holy spirit last Sunday for the very first time....People Jesus is real...and if you really want to know if he's real ten just find a quiet space...focus close your eyes don't get sidetrack and ask God sincerly to show you he's real...just try your hardest everyday...and he will show you.

    God Bless...

    p.s Im not perfect

  • Wow! Your knew somebody who recovered from addiction, and that's your best evidence for Jebus...........That's deep man??

Then you use "Pascal's wager" .............You and most theists with deep convictions for "invisible sky daddies" are mentally ill.

    You're a Christophrenic.

  • drumrnva. I totally agree, also if you look at how scientific reason has changed our lives over the last few centuries (double life expectancy low infant mortality, financial and personal freedom ect ect), it IS in fact objective evidence for promoting reason and evidence to back up claims about our world. Science with a reasoned morality (you guys dont own morality) in my view goes alot further than faith.

  • I don't suppose there's any problem with a transformed life being seen as evidence for something outside working on you....but the point is, it's not *objective* evidence, and it really shouldn't be cited as something to try to convince someone else. It's subjective and that's all there is to it. If something works in your life and makes you feel better and be happier/more satisfied, then that's enough.

  • Yes, it is the only real evidence we have. I am not a Christian, but I base my "faith" on similar experience. These experiences are, of course, not enough for the people I have dubbed "the atheist missionaries", but I am glad you made this video for the rest of us.

  • His no1 evidence has adds no credulity to jesus being divine at all, its like me proposing a magical bottle of ketchup, and then i help someone turn their life around then say this is my no1 piece of evidence that this bottle of ketchup magically works! Idiot, looking to the bible for evidence also is ridiculous.

  • The Buddha, and many of his followers, had life-transforming experiences. Mohammed, and many of his followers, had life-transforming experiences. Does this prove the truth of Buddhism and Islam?

  • hey God bless you for this message, I am encouraged in my faith knowing I share in the experience of these saints.

    an ethiopian christian.

  • Your number one evidence for christian faith is a reformed drug addict...Somehow I don't think that line of thinking would stand up to reason I mean, psychologically being part of a group gives someone meaning and shape to their lives as they adopt the group beliefs/aims/morals. But it doesn't matter what the group is, for example I'm sure the army has turned bad people into disciplined well mannered people that isn't evidence that every mission they go in is correct, or any mission at all!...

  • If you want to know God, stop thinking cynicism = rationality. You can be rational and find God, but cynics are unfortunately foiled by their own pride. Read the gospels, Jesus has words that will give you life everlasting.

  • I have read the bible, and it is utterly unconvincing.

  • I think you are being dishonest but cheers either way.

  • Talking snakes? jewish zombies? a ghost impregnating a women? No I am being honest. It is no more convincing than the qu'ran or any other acclaimed holy book.

  • life is a miracle in itself, yet you have diff. accepting eye witness accounts of miracles? i understand why cos i was in your shoes and i explained to your earlier pride is the major impediment to understanding God. Still I wish you a cheerful day.

  • Life is a product of reproduction, science has explained the evolution of our species blah blah blah. I have difficulty accepting any mythology, just because something claims its an eye witness accounts means I should trust it lol? No I look for real validation and dont accept things on a matter of faith, especially when there is not an ounce of proof to back it up, if it was true there would be proof. The word of a book is not validation otherwise I would believe in Allah.

  • ok, i wasn't hoping to convince you just share my thoughts. thanks.

  • Sorry, but it seems you have been sharing your ignorant judgements not thoughts. You claim I have some sense of pride against god, because I dont accept the bible on authority, you don't even know me. Did you know there are more eye witness accounts of UFO's than there are of Jesus, should I therefore accept the existence of flying saucers? Of course not, both ideas are ludicrous.

  • there is infinitely more eyewitness accounts of Jesus than UFO's. Every born again christian is a witness to the resurrection of Christ. The bible only testfifies to what people have experienced and observed. Of course you have pride, it drips with every sentence you write so I don't have to go far to prove that, just like the Bible doesn't need to go far to show it is inspired.

  • Someone who has accepted the idea of christ or born again as you label it is not an eye witness to jesus. Eye witnesses have to witness the event or person with their eyes, not their minds. If you would like to presume I have pride because i dont accept your book then that is up to you. The bible doesn't have to go far to convince YOU that it is inspired. Not me. I don't really find talking snakes, men living in whales, jewish zombies and ghosts impregnating women very convincing sorry.

  • @ntbygrace You have a wierd definition of witness, as do all batshit crazy christians.

  • @Scanini another bitter atheist, yawnnnnnnnnnnn.

  • @ntbygrace Bitter? nah, just tired of listening to rightous and indignant believers.

  • @ntbygrace By your logic we should trust all eyewitness accounts? Damn that means i HAVE to believe in Bigfoot and the Lock Ness monster :s

...and to correct you the gospels were not written by eyewitnesses, the disiples were illiterate, the stories they told were passed on and written down by the church between 50-70 years after Jesus's death (if he actually existed) Hearsay and testimonial evidence are not good enough for your claims.

  • Although i'm not a "christian" per say, i enjoy listening to these videos. I always find the good in them and try to incorporate it in my life in some way.

  • It makes sense to me, and I'm agnostic. Not going to change my mind or anything, but I'll check out your other videos.

  • Wow! As a Christian, I have tried to explain in the very same way he just did, but he does it so much better. Just like all true believers, it is the amazing transformation Jesus Christ does in our lives, hence the term "Born Again"! After this, I think once a person has been saved , the only way they could deny Christ, would be to blaspheme! I admire Randall for taking on so many subjects that non believers as well as many Christians debate so often! God Bless!

  • Great video.

  • wow! amen bro, 16 years ago I was in a car crash, lung collapsed, lung got septic, doctors offered little hope. little old farmer lady prayed one simple prayer (James 5:14-15) it felt as if someone lowered me into a bath of warm oil (peace I cant describe). Immediately healed. That nigh at 02:00 I got up and walked around the hospital after 5 weeks in critical care ward. I don't need intellectual proof, I know that I know!

I love your work, cant wait for each weeks email.

  • hopefully Colorado Springs, but ...whatever the Lord provides is fine, of course.

  • Excellent -- Keep me posted,

    Randall

  • @reflect7 How do you know your religion is right and all the others are false? Where's your proof? All the others claim to have proof of the fallacy of yours... where's your evidence? What makes yours more truthful than the others? Why are you taking this bronze age mythical (1 out of 5 major ones that attempted to explain everything before we knew about science) book so seriously? I'm not attacking anyone I'm just curious.

  • This guy's video made me interested in who he was. Just from his apologetic speaking, I looked him up, found out he taught at Colorado Christian University, and since I had been looking for a Graduate university, I chose that one.

    Thanks!

  • That's great -- I hope we connect -- Are you looking to study at the Lakewood campus or at one of the other centers in Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, or Grand Junction?

  • This video definitely outlines the irony of spirituality, when I started to pass through the final minefield of 'junk' before I accepted Christ I would have laughed at this notion too, but now I know it's absolutely true. Thank the Lord he moved in my life though. Keep em' coming Randall, you're saving souls brother!

  • If feeling good is an evidence, then health is a disease.

  • I couldn't agree more. Nothing can trump those spiritual realities which I have determined to be true experientially.

  • So true. I am working on my personal testimony now, it is certainly so much more powerful than any Historical proof I can provide for Jesus . Great Video .

  • Something to remember as we engage our critics!
