  • The Commuter Express buses are old diesel dinosaurs. While the Neoplans aren't bad, those creaky old Gilligs should be retired. The suspensions on the old Gilligs are worn out and throw everyone around when they hit bumps in the road. The back rows are hot, uncomfortable, and tagged. The air conditioning doesn't work correctly, either.

I'd be willing to pay more for a monthly pass if it meant a new fleet of modern CNG-fueled buses.

  • Mines are the 1987-88 Gillig Phantom and Neoplan Metroliner, both very comfortable buses, I think new routes need to be implemented to serve Ocean Park and Santa Monica and the South Bay on reverse rush hour bus service.

  • Commuter Express has more conforable seat in there buses. Eventhough they ungy as heck, I like the Neoplan AN340 MetroLiner more than the other buses in Comuter Express fleet.

  • Hehehe, You really loved our buses huh. You wanna apply for a bus driver with us? See me and we'll see if you're qualified or not.

  • I Love the Commuter Express, I ride it all the time especially coming from CSUN, there better than the average LACMTA buses.
