  • Check my channel for a college field goal block

  • braylen edwards lol

  • hm....idea for my game tomorrow?....i think yes...

  • I heard there were a shit ton of crappy rules in football but wow, sounds annoying.

  • Someone tried doing that to my team, we faked him he jumped over got a penalty, we move closer and end up scoring a two point conversion. It's an idiotic thing to try.

  • NFHS/UHSAA rules have apparently had hurdling illegal for at least 20 years according to some officials I asked. Rule 2-22

  • In most states that is illegal... not allowed to go airborne unless you are the ballcarrier. NCAA rule 9-1, section I.

"There shall be no hurdling (Exception: The ball carrier may hurdle an

    opponent.)."

Additionally, section n specifies that you must be within one yard of the LOS at the snap to jump while in the blocking zone... and if you land/step on anyone it will be a penalty.

  • not illegal because he never touched the center... and not in madden cause professional longsnappers are not that stupid to not come up as soon as they snap

  • Comment removed

  • @guynamedarin It is completely illegal, and if you are using Madden as your reference, you need to read more.

  • @lem4037 its actually not illegal because he jumped the center, at least in the state i played in it was allowed, check your facts buster

  • @guynamedarin In NFHS rules, you can not 'hurdle.' The definition of hurdling is jumping over an opponent who is standing (has nothing but two feet on the ground). After your reply, I did take a closer look at the replay. It looks as if the player did land on the snapper's back and push off with his foot. This would be the only reason I could see as to why the umpire did not flag this since the defender did not complete the hurdle, by definition. Hurdling, though, is illegal in HS.

  • @lem4037 i see what your saying, yeah i was thinking of a different rule where you could not touch the center if his head was down and his hand still on the ground, but yeah i see your original reply was right.

    \

  • @guynamedarin No worries, guynamedarin. I still have to admit, it is one hell of an athletic play, legal or not. I won't take that from the player.

  • Thats illegal

  • @Navahoagm63 that's not illegal i see that attempted in the nfl all the time gtfo newfags

  • @XvBiBleMaNvX NFL has different rules, in some cases, then high school and college.

  • i think thts illegal

  • that seems like something everyone thinks of and is like...naaawwwww,,, then one awesome dudes like YEAH! and does it lol

  • i did the same thing when i was in high school

i tried it twice in the same game..

the second time, one of the linemen pushed me in mid-air ..

i obviously fell on my ass and was embarassed,

    ahh good memories..

  • @MICHAUDMICHAUD yea i bet u would be lol

  • they did the same thing in water boy

  • hahahaa

  • BEnderSB54 quit hating he doesnt need to do it twice that jump was most likeley all because they were desperate meaning that kick prolly was a win or lose type of thing which means he did his job

  • Mrpalego or w/e your name is. That play is an illigal play it's called pyrmiding.

  • @StSkyler Its only pyramiding if u using ur own player as help. No rule about jumping over the opposng team.

  • in high school games, we should set up a field goal block play where the linebacker jumps off a linemen's back and blocks the kick

sick vid too by the way

  • wow!!!...just amazing

  • One rule I don't like in high school football is that the defense is not allowed to score on a extra point/ two-point conversion.

  • That same rule is applied to the NCAA and NFL.

  • Actually, the defense can score 2 points on a conversion in the NCAA.

  • yes it's a legal play

  • There has been better plays

  • This play is legal, based on what I see and my understanding of high school football rules (assuming this is a high school football game. I'm correcting myself from previous posts. There were three potential rule violations in this play: roughing the snapper, hurdling, and leaping. It's not roughing, because the defensive player must "charge" into the center and this did not happen. It's not hurdling because he did not lead with his feet. It's not leaping, because there's no leaping rule in hsfb

  • I believe that leaping refers to using one of your own players as a boost point. I like like running up a dudes back to get super high, or be held up to block. Human pyramid anyone? :P

  • This is a high school game and in high school, there is no rule against leaping. In NCAA and NFL football, Leaping is defined as such: "No defensive player, in an attempt to gain an advantage, may step, jump or stand on an opponent. No defensive player who runs forward from beyond the neutral zone and leaps from beyond the neutral zone in an obvious attempt to block a field goal or try may land on any player(s). Considering the emphasis of NFHS on safety, I would guess they will have a rule soon

  • Grade 11 year we lost our 1st game, then we tied our 2nd, then in the 3rd game we played the best team in the division and won by a single point when one of our linebackers ran up the back of our defensive tackle and the single went off his helmet. They called him for leaping but the kicker was rattled and the second kick was no good. We ran the board the rest of the season, won the division, and only lost in the semis by a touchdown against the team that won the provincial championship.

  • Do you live in Canada?

  • Yep.

  • thats leagal he hurdled the center never touched him

  • he hit the center before he came up and thts illegal

  • im gonna try that

  • lol watch the team names at the end

  • thats not legal ur not allowed to touch the center for like a second

  • that aint nothing i blocked a kick with mai nuts

  • hahah, your block was the most painful Blocked Kick Ever!

  • that was dumb. why'd he rush to recover it

  • This is a foul for Hurdling in NFHS high school rules. Personal foul 15 yards. I hope the officials caught it.

  • In high school football (National Federation of High Schools - NFHS rules), hurdling is defined as "an attempt by a player to jump (hurdle) with one or both feet or knees foremost over an opponent who is contacting the ground with no part of his body except one or both feet." Most certainly, in this video, the snapper is contacting the ground with both feet, making this an illegal hurdle. The defense should have been penalized 15 yards for hurdling.

  • In addition, in accordance with NFHS rules, the center is protected during long snapping situations (extra points, field goals, and punts) until he has had a reasonable time period to establish himself as a blocker. Until that time, he cannot be contacted. It appears that the rusher in this video does contact the snapper with his right foot, although it is not 100% discernible. If he had, then he would be flagged for roughing the snapper (15 yards).

  • fuck off smorben its cool so deal with it

  • Not sure they could have missed it...

  • the center is fair game once he lifts his head up. But your never gona get to do that twice unless the center is retarded. All he has to do is pop up quickly and its pancake city

  • @BenderSB54 the center is not fair game at all..your told to lay off the center even in the nfl now..smarten up cupcake

  • this was on holyshit tv show

  • spanish team is flooded with hispanic and the other with cowboys?

  • Isn't what he did illegal?

  • no he jumped over him... hitting the center would be illegal..

  • dude... what you think a nosegaurd does... avoids? really...

    learn ur football.

  • well maybe it u knew you football you would know that on a feild goal attempt the center can not be touched untill he lifts his head.. so if the jumper had touched him it would have been illegal cause the centers head was down.. Look it up in the rule book if u think im wrong... and yea i no what a noseguard is ive been on for 10 years

  • its an illegal play you cant rush the center on a punt/field goal still kinda cool tho

  • its illegal to ruch the center is right, but he never touched the center or knocked him over or anythung

  • doesnt matter u cant line up on him and rush him, even if u dont touch him

  • no the rule is u cant touch or cause him to jump by crossing the line u can rush him

  • This play is illegal under National Federation of High School football rules (also NCAA and NFL-this rule is the same at all levels). Obviously it took the officials by surprise. The Umpire behind the line would make that call. It is a live ball personal foul penalty and would be a 15 yard penalty-half the distance to the goal in this case if accepted-replay the try for point..

  • thats definitly not the greatest blocked kick ever

  • What kinda league is this?

  • It's a high school team.

  • thats not a legal play in the nfl maybe in this but not in the nfl

  • I would think that it would be illegal here if it is in the NFL, I mean he jumped on the guy. The only thing that I can think that's different in the NFL is hat rule where you can fall down and get up and continue running if you weren't touched by an opposing player.

  • you cannot touch the center during punts and field goals, there should have been a penalty on him

  • he didnt touch anybody he cleared them all on tht hurdle

  • That's illegal!

No defensive player can hurdle an engaged offensive player on any play.

  • you guys are dumb this is real. how does it look fake? he didnt touch anybody. so its legal and its awesome.

  • did not*

    sorry

  • he did touch anybody

  • why cant you do that in madden

  • i dno!! :(

  • cuz its retarded and eveyone of your extra points would be getting blocked

  • @itsmekeeneguys cus madden is gay, bring back ak

  • @itsmekeeneguys cus madden is gay, bring back 2k

  • Comment removed

  • He's not allowed to touch the center AT ALL when doing that. Also, he can't use one of his own lineman as a spring of any sort.

    Illegal. Try the point again.

  • definanatley fake!!

  • That happened at one of my games. He hurdled the center, but failed the landing. lol

  • yea! thats taylor for you! (#1) lol i love that kid

THATS MY BROTHER HE JUMPS OVER! #55 James Collins ;)

  • illegal.

dude hops off of a guys shoulder.

  • tooked his own guy tho. so no prob there

  • no its illigal to do that now...you cant do it if the long snapper is still looking down

  • its illegal to HIT the snapper until he looks up, yes. but you can jump over him if you like. ha

  • haha yeah i know wat ur saying....but i did it my freshman year of high school and got a penalty for it

  • american fork cavemen?

  • lol ^^

  • ok, a guy named bigdeadhorse is making fun of us? not cool.....bigdeadhorse is lame. American Fork Cavemen is not lame. (Mofoe Cake!!)

  • lol, this is me...didn't know they had it on here.

  • lol ya right

  • it's perfectly legal

he doesnt make contact with the long snapper at all making it an awesome play

    good call refs

bad call all the foul people below me who think it's illegal

  • I LOVE the people who think that they know the rules of the game more than the refs.

  • Wow. I live right by where those teams are.

  • yo i play varsiy football now its ILLIGAL to touch the center until he lifts his head or makes an attempt to block.

not sayin i like it but its the rule

  • and illegal to touch the center, at least from thats what we are told in High school football.

  • you are absolutely right

  • thats an illegal block, its against the rules to jump over the line

  • wtf? who said that? as long as its after the snap?

  • well first of all you are not even allowed to touch the deep snapper period end of statement and the guy jumped on his back, second of all it is against the rules to jump over the deep snapper to block a fg or an extra point

  • are you serious? not for the pros though right?

  • im not 100 percent sure but i dont think you can in the pros either

  • oh wow. thats weird. hmmm. thanks for the info thoughhh

  • you can as long as you dont jump on somone

  • Its only in high schoool you cant hit the deep snaper.

  • its called LONG snapper. and i dont think he touched him at all. it looks like he cleared him.

  • Shades of waterboy there haha

  • thats gay cos im a deepsnapper/extrapoint snapper and i am told not to lift my head up on extra points so the guards can lean overso... that was the 2 guards falt he got threw

  • that was iligal your not alowed to leap over lineman on a kick they should have been penolized and rekicked

  • jbbrown there is nothing illegal abuot jumping over lineman. Its just few people have the hops to do it or the coach that will let them.

  • damn it's like he just walked right over and blocked the kick like it was nothin lol, nice

  • my team does this same damn block and it works like a spanish maid.

  • thats so sick! great play by #1

  • Joe Flacco is a great QB and getting better making a good start in the NFL

  • oh my god!

  • your not allowed to go over the center, it doesn't matter if you touch him or not.

  • thats fucking sick but why the fuck do it on a pat lol try it when there kickng a field goal so u save 3 points not 1

  • impresive

  • he didn't touch the center so it isnt illegal. your not aloud to line up on the center on a field goal but if you don't touch him your fine. it was an amazing play. period

  • thats illegal

  • LMFAO HRUTLES LINE BLOCK KICK. everyones like wtf.

  • i doubt scouts would even talk to a 14 year old. unless u were in there way besides anyone can say there so great. put a vid on here and get back to me

  • did u see the florida saouth car game. the block to win the game. it was 06. best block ever. realy look it up they went on 2 win the natnl championship and if they didnt block it they wouldnt have. and the jump to block it was the highest jump ive ever seen. go gators

  • i was so pissed when that happened. we shouldve had that game....damn chicken curse ha

  • lol i was so happy. GO GATORS!!

  • That`s the kicking teams offensive Line`s fault, They like didn't try and block them at all he was going to kick it and they were all still down waiting for like something to happen. Bad offensive Line time to bench them and bring out people that actually would want the spot and try harder then them.

  • he jumped over the long snapper dude.

  • Yes I know that but as soon as he snapped the ball he should of got up quick and made it hard for him to jump over him, part of being a good football player espically on the Offensive line or defensive line is being able to read what the person in front of you is going to do.

  • and your gonna read the guy in front of you if your head is down deep snapping....?

  • dude my dad was a long snapper im a liong snapper you have to look back and anyways its an ilegal play your not aloud to go over the center.

  • Well your dad`s a Bitch and so are you.

  • well considering he wazs an allstate and sectional champion and was his teams captian i think hes probably better than anyone in your family.

  • lol My brother is in the NFL you moron his name is Joe Flacco He`s starting for the Baltimore Ravens as QB, I don`t think he`s better than anyone in my family like I said your dad is a bitch and so are you.

  • really just wait im only 14 on varsity and am getting a full ride to ohio stae for o-line and i have never heard of your brother.

  • Ok Well why don`t you stop being retarded, Go to google and look up Joe Flacco for Baltimore Ravens, He Started just this year it`s his rookie year.

  • you wanna do me a fav and google my cousin you might know him his name is jon riggins.

  • he to good to b ur cuzin

  • how don't u know Joe Flacco... NICE.

  • yeah, ik who he is. but hes playing like shit so i talk about him as if he is shit.

  • ohhh... okay.

  • ok. hes not leading anything and his whole team is doing bad.

  • i said OKAY...

  • i fuckin said ohh okay meaning idc. You stated your reason for not liking him and idc anymore.

  • seriosuly little boy..just a tip...it helps when you are lying to make your lies beleiveable. The notion that a 14 year old is being recruited by ANY team, let alone Ohio St. is so laughable that it makes your lie so obvious. Not to mention it is verifably a lie, since it is AGAINST NCAA RULES. Try again please.

  • lol this is my other account. and by the way your absoloutly retarded. how do you think big teams get good players? they recruit them at young ages. just look at the nba, if kids were good enough to jump to the pros at 18, wouldnt colleges be looking even earlier?

  • my high school team tryed it, but with two interior d-lineman get on their knees, and two people come and jump off their our back into the air. But we stopped it didnt workout the o-line was pushing them out of midair and our star reciever almost got injured doing that

  • thats illegal anyway you cant jump off of somebodys back or jump on top of somebody. this was legal and ridiculous dude's got hops

  • obveusly he will jump over the guy if he can see and hes down low... duh! its just a block.. no bid deal

  • 5/5

  • great shit! i love it mate

    Sax...

  • its perfectly legal

the bills are doing it with John Wendling

  • yea, our special teams just dominate.. GO MCKELVIN and WENDLING!!

  • i did it once and got penalized for jumping over a lineman....i think its only illegal on field goals

  • thats pretty good..but its illegal

  • how is it illegal?

  • "they should get a point for that"

    LOL

  • Sickkk, but SCOOP N' SCORE!

  • that means the other team has been going on 1 hut the whole game.

  • not bad

  • damn i can't even see the ball in the vid lol

  • that's because this is fake.. jkjk

  • good

  • he was lucky cuz if he hit the snapper he would have gotten a penalty but impressive

  • hey i know that guy! thats matt!

    My brother is #55!

    CAVEMEN OWN!

    haha

  • The Cavemen are Lehi's BITCH
