  • 240 v systym

  • That is the lightning flash point, Steve. It's like humidity and rainfall.

  • how much hho comes out ??

  • anybody ever hook up a hose to the fuel rail injector? i think it would work i know the injectors would work but i think the timing would have to be changed unless you could run some of the exhaust to the rail to try to assimilate a gasoline burn

  • 45 gallons per minute or what? damn thats huge.

  • decent video from someone who appears to understand the concepts.

I'd definitely want to have a recording of the electrolyte concentration, as well as a temperature reading before current was applied as well as a temperature reading after the unit was allowed to run for a long period of time as the total ohms would drop, the electrolosys efficiency could improve with higher temperature, and totally alter the wattage flowing in, and the gas production exiting the unit.

  • when you turned the cell on, i could hear the generator struggle

  • what do u mean thermodynamics

  • I was looking at the site and appears all you sell are boosters not something that can run independent of gasoline. Is it because of some ridicules bureaucracy?

  • @makun16 No it's because of thermodynamics.

  • @delvis11

can thermodynamics explain why there is more energy come out of a hydrogen bomb compared to the energy use in making the bomb?

  • Just one question, what is the clear container you are using for a bubbler? some kind of filter canister or something?

  • GREAT VIDEO MAN!!!

    KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

  • Im not sure a clamp on meter is going to give you an accurate reading of DC current. Very nice array, great job.

  • I was thinking more like a chemical car (RR) 65% full of water, the car grounded negative and the cap on the center connected to positve with a rod going down into the water to about 6 incehes from the bottom. Check valves waiting for the pressure to build up and jet the steam to generator turbines, drawing energy from gigantic solar cell arrays. They work during the day and store to battery for overnight.

  • you could just run a car with this or a 18 wheeler lol

  • Nice design but not really for a car. So, what do you create the hydrogen for?

  • you should have another switch after the caps, just in case of a hydrogen explosion catastrophe you won't have any more hydrogen being made because they are cut off.

  • 240 V is it AC or DC?

  • @adamson001 ac in and dc out to HHO generator

  • Is DC at 240V for water hho polarization

  • I don't know much about this yet but am learning quickly. Good diy garage construction!

  • Lets see a car run 70 mph on that. Hydrogen has the ability to run extremely rich or lean but what fuel/air ratio is needed to get best engine power? A 600 CFM carburetor would need 75 CFM of hydrogen gas with an air/fuel mixture ratio of 8 to 1. It looks like your fuel cell is a long way from 75 CFM. What is the price per gallon equivalent for hydrogen gas compaired to gasoline? How do you make hydrogen as fast as the engine will burn it?

  • i miss those days of thinking. your cat knows. i'm spent man, i'm done.

  • carter was wierd man, he was strange. he claimed to have a photo grafifc memory. i don't know if all that was BS or not. i had my own problems. he knew what the fuck he was talking about. thats for damn sure.

  • lol, hey i used to be one of those people, that calculated everything. i could see and define everything. then i gave up... i guess. carters law, it's not written in history, states that, anything that can be defined can be done. UNC Charlotte, NC.

  • don't touch those caps. they will light you up. stay away from those caps. trust me. a capacitor is just that. it stores energy. a magnitron from a microwave oven will light you up. dont go poken around a microwave oven.

  • how do you do the dry cells?

  • @elroca12 view the other videos. they will teach you everything.

  • i DON'T GET IT.WHY WOULD YOU HAVE MORE VOLTS THAN THE 220.

WHY DID YOU GET 280??i WONDER HOW MUCH THE BUBBLES KEEP THE ELECTROLYTE OFF THE PLATES

  • @josephdupont when AC is rectified it will increase the DC volts

  • I dont understand this, surely its not about litres per min but more about litres per watt. As far as i can see your using 114watts per litre which is average can you tell me what you want such a big cell for?

  • If my calculations are correct the Hoover dam mite be your next best power source, and yet can double as a nice gas station too, good water supply and cooling - the rolling blackouts you create however mite be a issue:) keep expermenting, its been cool waching yer videos - theirs gotta be better materials out their!!!

  • now just hook that line to the generator's air intake. =D

  • you should get yourself a propane engine and tune it to run on Hydrogen.

  • do you use solar or other sourse of energy

  • is it safe to run a grill from hho

  • i like your experiment i did a red neck hho cell for myself at gunsngold channel. What would 20 liters per minute run alone with no fuel to supplement it.

  • i'm looking for a dry cell that i can put on my 2005 freight liner it has a 450 mercadies engine and i'm wondering would your cell give me better fuel economee dscharter@sympatico.ca

  • Only green if you're power doesn't come from coal.

  • you are not using all capabilities of your unit. 240v x 4.6amp= 1.1kw it normal to get 6lpm. But your cell looks huge , something like 8x8 cell? area in contact with water must be 7x7. So 7x7x118=5782 sq.inch .then per anode: 5782:2=2891sq.inch . Theoretically, unit having working area per anode 393sq.inch must consume 1kw of power and produse 5lpm. So your unit ( 2891:393=7.3) normally has to consume 7.3 kw and produse 30lpm. You must add KOH until your unit will draw 25amps for 25lpm.

  • @Erniz2 your calculations are a little off. efficiency of the cell was not calculated. My plates are 9x9

  • do you see much that could possibly be improved? amazing how many neutrals!!!

    Do you use resonance?

Think this would run a 3 cylinder?

  • This could idle a 3 cylinder.

Resonance is for guy like bob why live on cloud nine.

  • also, the caps, would you be able to explain please?

  • They serve one purpose. To smooth out the power fluctuations. They keep an even voltage going to the cell.

  • thank you man :)

--next question... i build bedini's, but do you have electronic basics vids? :)

  • Im not much electronics. I know some things but not much.

  • @delvis11 if you pulse the voltaje the performance up (time duty can be of 1us or less)

  • another question about bubbles what do you do to prevent it from frezzing if you want to scrub off the koh the gas.

  • use a couple of bubblers to prevent any koh from entering the engine.

  • Comment removed

  • the hydrogen side would have more plates ie +NNNN+NNNN+NNNN+NNNN+NNNN+ etc

the oxygen side would be smaller in side -NNNN-NNNN-NNNN-

then use separate bubbles etc for oxygen and hydrogen.... then pipe it to the engine and "mix at the engine"?

I would thing this would increase effiency of car.

  • It your going to use this in a car there is no need to separate the gases. 18% koh setup should look like this +NNNNN- 1/8 inch or more gap.

  • being newbie to this 18% is measured how volume ? or teaspons

I want o make my own dry 8x8 or 8x16but thinner ie 2.5 inch plus plastic plates.. any advice...

what gasket matterial to use to get 1/8 gap?

  • what do u use for electrolite... what do you use for winter electrolite?

  • I use koh. A high concentration of koh will not freeze. It is the only thing i have found to work.

  • the high concentration of koh will not over power current draw? in my location it goes below -20c in dead of winter?

  • 18% koh will get you to 0 degrees. 20-22 % should get you to -20

Your cell will need to be designed different. Add a 5th neutral and increase your gap a little. Or you can use a pwm.

  • what gap do recommend for -20 ish temperture please explain

what grade of stainlees you and thickness?

  • I have just noticed something while designing my own electrolyzer. The pre bubbler/reservoir tank can create a short. The electrolyte will conduct the electricity from your fill point on the cell through the reservoir to the other fill point.

  • what is the best set up for plates in a wet cell ??

  • +nnnn-

  • I am confussed !! if more plates are connected to + and - then more gas is made as the molecules are drawn towards the poles, so why have neutrals in between ?? why not have n-+-n-+-n-+-n or -n+n-n+n-n+n-, what is the reason behind having so many plates being neutral ?

  • You will find out why as you do more research.

this cell runs at 2.3v per plate gap. my input is around 250v. A neutral steps down the voltage. electrolysis starts at 1.24v

  • Just a request: how much energy emits one liter of hho gas

    ? Thanks for answering

  • With my booster design you going to need 15to16 amps at 13,8 volts to make 1 liter of gas

  • my first cell built tonight. 3 plates. doesnt produce alot but i like to think its a good start.

  • I assume your using 12v input. Three plates is a good start. let me save you some time in the long run. Use 4 neutral (free plates) in between every + and -. thats the optimum most efficient voltage between gaps to produce for the most gas for the least amount of watts. Good luck with your project.

  • nice work bro,

  • Very stable voltage with those caps. I like the setup.

  • Do you think Dual Exhaust to separate bubblers would help when you get it upto 20LPM?

  • i already got the 20 lpm but my delivery system isn't very good. I like your idea to use to use 2 reservoirs. I think i will give it a try.

  • i´m doing same stuff. 250V rectefied volts from housholdcurrent with 115 plates. it works as well @ 6,2 mmw. But it wasn´t necessary to use any kind of capacitor!!! The cell it self has capacity.

Tell me, what was the cost´s for the capacitors?

  • I don't see much of a benefit in mmw but the caps give a more stable and constant voltage without much variation.

  • isn´t it very expensive? As i can remember, Capacitors to lower ripple to 20V cost about 400-500€!!! So i´ve tried without! What have you paid for?????

    Very good work!

  • Yes they are about $120 dollars a piece. But If you look in the right places you can get them for cheap. I have a friend that got me 3 nice 4700uf 600volt caps when they were changing them out of there UPS. All the caps in the video i got from ebay. alll 8 cost me $50 dollars.

  • I wonder what happens if you could hook up a PWM that can handle the voltage and amperage on that capacitor bank?
