i'm reading the books right now. i've never been so in love with characters from a story, i've been brought to tears many times. i can't even describe how much Tatiana and Shura's story has touched me. Paullina Simons is fantastic and i so hope she ends up making The Bronze Horseman into a movie

I concur with most sentiments here, Shura and Tatia are such distinct characters, I'd rather they never made a movie than to get it wrong. I mean, you could feel their love through the pages, you could see just how amazing Alexander is and how devoted and loving Tatiana is. Good job though!

I'm not sure if I like this Shura and this Tatia. I just don't know. Everyone pictures them diffrently and have my own, very specific poinr of view as to how they should look like. Moreover, it's not only the looks but the charisma, the acting skills that are SO IMPORTANT. They should be shining. No mistakes, no cheesy scenes allowed. Shura&Tatia must be brilliant, in the full and every meaning of that word.

But I wanted to ask you, b/c this pair kinda got my attention, what movie r they from?

@panienkashy This is a montage of three movie:'The blue bicycle', a french series with Laetitia Casta (Tatiana in this video),'The Savior of San Nicola', with Alexander-Antonio Sabato, and 'The ring', based on a novel by Danielle Steel, in which there are the scenes of Red Cross nurse,New York,Ellis Island and the infirmary. In this movie Laetitia Casta looks innocent and pure as Tatiana, and Antonio Sabato resembles the Alexander I keep in my head!It's a pity that now he's too old for the role!

Sul sito di IMBD, il database ufficiale di tutti i film esistenti, risulta in programmazione 'The bronze horseman' per il 2012...per saperne di più ti consiglio di cosultare su blogspot 'ilcavalieredinverno', dove sono raccolte tutte le news in italiano in una sezione dedicata al film! Non posso lasciarti il link su youtube, ma se cerchi su google dovresti trovarlo tranquillamente!

@astrofisico12345 Il film su raisatpremium si intitola 'Vola Sciusciù', con Lino Banfi, un film tenerissimo e commovente da vedere assolutamente! Quello con Laetitia Casta invece è 'La bicicletta blu', che però non si trova in italiano, infatti io l'ho visto in francese! E l'ultimo, quello di New York, croce rossa, e infermeria è 'L'anello', tratto dal romanzo omonimo di Danielle Steel, che ha non poche coincidenze con il cavaliere! :)

@hici61 ikr?! they can't screw it up! they just cannot because if the actors aren't a match, or their acting skills are disasterous, it'll kill the precious image I keep in my head of these two. frankly, i would prefer the movie not to be made ever, if anything was done wrong. as in -ANYTHING.
